Agh, I couldn't resist buying the Celestial Wrap. I kept on trying to convince myself that I don't actually need to buy a DI every month, so that I can save up for my quest... But it obviously didn't work.
Oh, and apparently the Gaia Anniversary Ball is tomorrow?

I'm partial to the Dark Star myself. But I've already saved up 22K and I don't feel like blowing a huge chunk of it already.

Yeah, that's my problem. I've been questing since forever because every one in a while, I go off on a spending spree. No self control. I guess that's what people call passive-questing...

I don't really think that MC/DIs are worth enough to spend actual money on. It's spending money on pixelated items that I'll probably be deserting in a few years, anyway. It made more sense when they were donation items, now they're "collectibles." rolleyes

I'm proud to say that I've never donated to Gaia.
Yet my net worth is still quite high, and until the past several months, I've had no trouble getting a letter each time. 3nodding

The only donation items I have are my Sun Staff (won in a contest) and my OMFG (bought in the market after a month of saving).

Got it from a friend who left Gaia.
Prommie in the GD.
Got her scarf from saving for 3 ******** days.
Yeah. Got 5m in donations.
Why can't people be that generous to me?
Actually, I like.
A fellow Canadian gave me my Kistune mask. I was saving for it and was about 1/4 there when I get a trade from somebody who 'admired my partriotism'.
Totally made my Gaia-year.

Ugh... I don't quest seriously enough. If I did, I could probably buy my anklets or slippers or whatever. But nooo... I have to go and spend it all on the new MCs. I have orly, celestial wrap, pixie, and... other stuff I can't remember...
