((is slowly being pushed out of the role play... cry ))

Sa'Vinitta looked at her and nodded his head. "As you wish." he said. He set her down on her feet. "But I warn you, Camaris is going to complete the transformation and he may not be able to reverse the effects, and I may not be able to stop him. It was him who asked me to get you out of there." he told her. He turned around and looke out of the room. Camaris, I wish you the best of luck, you will be needing it. he thought to himself.

I sit down on the floor, my eyes still closed. This next change was not as physical as the other, but more of the mind. It will alter my minds control over my muscles and reflexes, greatly shortening the time it takes my body to react. Reacting on the slightest thought will increase my bodys speed ten fold, but at the possible cost of losing my mind and tearing my body apart from the strain. I feel my body quiver as rage and frustration pushes back every thought, value, and memory that will not aid me in the aproaching struggle. Rena grins knowing what I was doing. "You know that you may kill yourself by doing this." she said. I smile as I analize her voice. She was confident that I would lose. Very confident in fact. "If my death is the price I have to pay to erase the terror and destruction you have, and will continue to bring upon humanity, then it is a price I will most gladly pay." I told her. I open my eyes. The change is complete. I close my hand around the hilt of my sword as I stand up and remove the tattered remains of my shirt from my body. "Lets finally end this rediculus struggle." I said. She nodded. "Do lets." she said.

Rae didn't bother to respond, and instead walked to where Tyasha was, and sat down. She sighed out, and glanced at the ceiling warily.

'Something is gonna have to happen. Soon.'

'Why?'

'Not sure... I just feel it. Whether it has something to do with Sarusen, my body sharing two souls, Sa'Vinitta, Rena... or Camaris.'

'Ah... I see.'

'Hell, maybe it's just the feeling ya get when you should be unconscious.'

'Mm... maybe. Why don't you rest?'

'Do you really think that I could? ... Not with our current situation. I wanna be awake just in case... in case-'

'What? You are needed for fighting? You'd be more of a burden to them than anything. I advise you to rest; you could barely stand.'

The human scoffed out loud quietly. "Shut up," Rae whispered.
PostPosted: Sun Jan 14, 2007 12:19 pm

Sa'Vinitta watched her. He wasn't sure if she was telling him to shut up or not. By the way she said it he was pretty sure she wasn't talking to him, but he didn't know who else she could be talking to. Everything has been so confusing and complicated since Camaris woke him up that sometimes he whished he remained asleep.

We just stood there stareing at each other for what seemed like forever, each of us waitng for the other to make their move. There, a slight flick of her right wrist. Dust fell from the wall on her right. Thats it, thats her trick. I look closly at the space between her wrist and the wall. A thin piece of string was attached to her wrist and stretched all the way to and into the wall. A closer inspection made me see that there was actually many strings on both of her wrists. In our fight she must and woven a intricate web of those strings throughoiut the enitre room. But what exactly was she planning on doing with them. I carefully look around, makeing sure she didn't realize that I noticed the strings. I can't see any of them, but I can clearly see them on her wrists. I roll my head around, makeing it appear that I was cracking my neck. I bring my shoulders backwards in a motion that would make it appear I was cracking my back. I shake out my right leg and stomp it down on the floor. The dust on the floor kicked up a bit and I caught a breif glimpse of some of the strings. I do the same with my left leg. The strings were all around me and her. The were even between us. I find it more than a little odd that she was able to weave this web without me noticeing. I must have run into some of the strings at some point. But why was it that I didn't feel any of them. This was all getting very strange and complicated. I guess the only way I'm going to find out what she is using the strings for is to carry out this fight. I just have to make it appear that I aven't noticed anything. Nows the time I make my move.

I charge towards her, carefully weaving in and out of the strings, but at the same time making it appear as if it's not purposeful. She reaches down into her pocket and pulls out a knife. I throw myself upon the floor in order to dodge the attack. The knife cuts through several of the strings before imbedding itself into the wall. I watch her as she reaches for another. It didn't appear that that she cared weather the strings were cut or not. ~Camaris. Lokk around and see if you can locte any strings in the area you are locatede. I'm surrounded by a web of them that Rena wove as we were fighting.~ I sent out while dodgeing multiple projectiles. This was all getting frustrating. ~Nothing~ he sent back. It seems as if the only room the strings are located was the one we were fighting in, but what was she using them for? A grin quickly spreads acrros Renas face and I feel a sudden tighening around my left ankle. I look down and notice that my ankle somehow got tangled into some of the strings. I start to bring my sword arm down to cut them but I realize I was unable to move it. I start for my knife pocket with my other hand, but that quickly becomes ensared as well. Strings start shooting out form the walls, ensaring my whole body. I try to move my wings, but they too were immobilized. The strings start to slowly lift me up and pull my limbs apart untill I was hovering two inches above the ground and spread-eagled. Rena slowly walks towards me still grinning. For the first time in this fight I begin to think I may not survive.

Rae glanced from the ceiling to the ground a few times, before she eventually pushed herself up. The human leaned against the wall, and glanced at Tyasha, then Sa'Vinitta.

'Can't stand just waiting here. I never was one for keeping to safe places anyway.'

'Mm. I don't doubt that. Just do not get yourself killed; I don't know what will happen to your soul, or mine, if you do.'

'Ug... sure.'

Rae blinked once, and began to take a few steps. At her location, she still couldn't see what was going on, and she wouldn't ask 'what's happening?' unless she could figure it out herself.

Rena stared at me for what seemed like many minutes. "So how are you going to kill me?" I asked her, there being no doubt in my mind that was what she was planning. "You must be mistaken, my dear Camaris. It's not you I'm going to kill. Don't get me wrong, I am going to kill you, but I'd much rather force you to watch me kill the girl first. Slowly and excrutiatingly." She said. I start to squirm, attempting to free myself from the binds. "We can't very well have you getting free can we?" she said. Suddenly the wires begin to move me again. It pulls my limbs and my wings closer to my body so tightly that it felt as if the strings would cut through my flesh. She looked me over and with a smile and a giggle, made her way to the stairs. I flex my wings, but nothing hapens. I refuse to give up, so I continue moving my arms, legs, and my wings. I could hear her footsteps slowly asscending up the stairs. The strings were getting loose. She was almost at the top. I am able to move my wings a bit. She was halfway down the hall. I push the strings away for a split second with my wings before they snap back against my skin. She was at the door to the room, staring at the three people within. I push at the strings again and they finally snap apart. I drop to the floor and land hard on my wings, causing futher dammage to them. Quickly, I run up the stairs and see Rena standing in front of the doorway. I reach for my sword but grabbed nothing but air. s**t, I must have left it down stairs on the floor. I cant run because she'll hear me and no doubt launch herself at Rae. I flap my wings, lifting myself off the ground and fling my self at Rena plowing her past the room and into the wall.

Rae's eyes were wide with confusion. Just a moment before Rena had stood in the doorway, only to crash right into the wall just seconds later. The human watched as Rena had been sent across the room, contemplating why Camaris hadn't just attacked her from behind.

She gritted her teeth, realizing wherever Camaris's sword was, it wasn't with him. After ramming her fist into the wall, Rae shoved off it, making her way quickly outside the room to glance down at where the fight had just recently occurred at.

The human could make out the outline of Camaris' weapon, and whirled around to look at Sa'Vinitta persistently. "His sword," She muttered, while pointing at said weapon. "You've got to get it for him; I..." The human let out a frustrated sigh, "I can't."

"Oh, that really is too sad!" A cheerful voice rang out, causing Rae's eyes to widen once more.

Slowly, almost hesitantly, the slayer turned to glance down the hall. A male figure stood, partly covered in shadows, yet grinning happily.

"You... you," Rae spat, instinctively grabbing the hilt of her sword.

"Mm... yes, Romero, remember?" He asked, while lifting a thin arm to tap where he heart should have been. A thin trail of black blood dribbled down his top, coming from somewhere underneath the hole in his clothes. "I believe you just recently did this to me. Should have checked if I was dead you know!" He murmured, chuckling ever so slightly. "Now I'm afraid I'll have to take the boy."

Rae glanced at Tyasha, then back to Romero quickly. Without warning, the slayer leapt in the direction of Sarusen, only to run headfirst into the white fabric of Romero's shirt. She stumbled back a little, only to be steadied by the vampire himself. A warm smile greeted the female, contrasting greatly against his eyes that showed no emotion. "I'm afraid I do not wish to fight you over him, I've got nothing against you! Well... disregarding the whole stabbing me in the heart event. What do you say, I'll simply take him and go, no blood spilt that way!"

He clapped happily, only to be shoved over by Rae's elbow a second later. The human raced to where Tyasha was, unsheathing her sword in the process. The slayer turned, so her back was facing Tyasha, and her sword was pointing at where Romero stood sadly. A frown covered his features, and warily he reached for his blade. "I'll kill you before you can get to him." She spat irritably.

"Very well then, if you insist." The ivory haired male glanced over at Sa'Vinitta for a moment, waving like a child, before disappearing. Just seconds later, the clanging of metal against metal was heard, as Rae and Romero fought.

There were slashes and stabs, all aimed to kill coming from both the human and the vampire, as well as dodges, and countering attacks. Rae glared daggers at the pale man, violently slashing downwards in an attempt to drive her sword deep into his skull.

"My, my! You're much more brutal this time around!" Romero noted, blocking and sending an attack of his own.

"Ah, well forgive me." She muttered, "I'm used to people who I stab in the heart to stay dead."

((Ty, I hope this will get you a little more involved!!))

Sa'Vinitta didnb't know what he should do. Should he get Camars' sword, even though he could very well take care of himself, or should he help Rae, a severly wounded human going up against a vampire. He shrugs his shoulders, he'd rather face the wrath of Rae than face the wrath of Camaris. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out two knives. He throws them in the direction of Romero, imbedding them into his shoulder joint, succesfully disabling his sword arm. "Rae is going to hate me for that." he said aloud.

Rena kicks me off her and I slide across the floor with what felt like a couple cracked ribs. She picked her sword off the floor as she stood. I could see the anger in her eyes as she walked towards me. I swing my leg up, knocking her sword from her hand and onto the floor. Before she got the chance to grab it I kicked it into the room and past Romero. I wish I could say it was planned, but Ray could use it if she chose to. Rena turned back to me and shot her hand out, enclosing my throat. She squeezed as she lifted me from the ground, her strength seemed to grow tenfold since I plowed her down. She threw me down the hall. I couldn't stop myself. I folded my wings close to my body and carefully stuck out a hand. I grabbed hold of one of the posts of the railing. It stopped my flight, but also dislocated my shoulder. I look up to see Rena charging at me. ~Sa'Vinitta. I want you to get down the stairs and grab my sword. Then imeddiatly rush back to Rae.~ I sent to him. I stand up and flail my arm out, popping my shoulder back into place. I see a blur coming out of the room and descended over the railing. ~I can't get back up with you adn Rena blocking the path. It's also good to see your wits are back.~ Sa'Vinitta sent to me. Rena reaches me and throws her fist out. I catch it and alter our positions, placing myself in front of the railing. I let go of her fist and instantly crouch down. At the same instant, she swung her foot, barely missing me on my way down. I jump up, doing a back flip and land a foot under her chin. I flip over the railing and land on my feet and one hand. Rena quickly recomposes her self and leaps over the railing. ~The way is clear, now go.~ I sent to Sa'Vinitta. Out of the corner of my eye I watch him dash up the stairs.

Romero's eyes widened, and he took a step back immediately. One hand reached up to grip the knife, while Romero's expression of shock changed to a sadistic smile. "You certainly have nice aim..." He muttered, yanking out the knife, and hurtling it back at Sa'Vinitta, dropping his sword in the process. The white-haired vampire didn't care if it hit, or missed; at this moment, drawing blood from Sa'Vinitta wasn't his goal. Romero leapt away quickly; into the shadows, black blood following after him.

"Uhn..." Ray gritted her teeth, one arm clutching her stomach, the other trying to keep herself up with her sword. Needless to say, she was unsuccessful, and fell to her knees, landing with a thump. Her brown eyes dulled over, and the last thing she was aware of before unconsciousness claimed her was the sound of her katanna falling to the ground with a 'clunk,' and her body falling forward.

Sa'Vinitta steps to the side and lets the knives fly by. Out of the corner of his eye he sees Rae drop. He rushes over and carfeully sets her up against the wall. He swears when he notices fresh blood staining her bandages. There was no fresh cloth any where in the room so he gets up and runs to the linen closet. He grabs a handfull of sheets and runs back to the room without bothering to shut the door. He tears the cloth into strips and, hoping she doesn't regain consciousness before he's done, begins carefully peeling the old bandages off her. When he finished he eased her back against the wall. Drawing his sword he layed against the wall next to her. Regardless of wht she says, he's not letting her fight next time.

Rae wasn't exactly surprised when she opened what she thought were her already open eyes to be greeted by the sight of Ulissia. She sighed irritably, and ran her hand through her hair in an annoyed gesture. "I passed out." It was more of a statement then a question. Nonetheless, Ulissia nodded.

"Yes, though your physical body is all right. You're well taken care of you know, especially for a human who is always in the presence of vampires."

Rae blinked once, and for a moment, it was quiet. Whatever part of her own mind she was in right now was calm, much unlike in the real world. The human was torn between loving it here in the black emptiness, or hating it. There was nothing here, no enemies, no one to protect, no one to fight; it was calm. Rae wasn't sure if she liked the calmness just yet. "I know." She whispered. "...How long will I be out for?" She asked, a bit louder.

Ulissia shrugged, and hugged herself. "I do not know."

Rae nodded, and the two just stared at each other, thinking about the situation. She wasn't sure how much time had passed between the two of them, and she wasn't sure she cared either.

Ulissia's voice cut though the silence first. "He left... the vampire with white hair, I mean. And... Camaris Sa'Vinitta is fine."

Rae sent her a questioning glance, and the spirit smiled in that sad way. "If you were wondering..." She murmured out.

"I wasn't. He is strong; both of them are. So is Sarusen."

"You speak fondly of them." Ulissia smiled. "It doesn't sound like you."

Rae huffed, and glanced down at what she thought would be the ground. Another odd silence passed over them, before she murmured in a quiet voice, "I trust them." Rae hadn't thought about it up until this point, but she realized now that they had all managed to earn her trust. "Because of that, I would fight for them. But... of the three of them, Sa'Vinitta and Camaris need the least watching out for. If it ever really came down to it, where for some reason we had to fight each other, I know I wouldn't last. They're too strong...the strongest I've ever seen, in both terms of physical, and mental strength, and I'm only human. They can take care of themselves, but Sarusen is young. He doesn't know the rules of life and death the way Camaris and Sa'Vinitta do. I think he needs someone there to keep him on his feet still. Regardless, he has proven his strength to me. Maybe not in the way of Sa'Vinitta and Camaris, but what he has gone through, what he is still going through, takes strength beyond what I can describe."

The silence that washed over the two then was possibly the longest out of all of them. Both were left to ponder on what Rae had just said. She herself was wondering why she had just told Ulissia why she trusted the three of them, and as far as Ulissia's thoughts go, Rae hadn't a clue what the girl was thinking.

After what felt like ages to Rae, the silence she once found so calm began to turn into a loud buzzing noise. It was time to change the topic. "What do you think they'll do when this is over?" Rae asked Ulissia, who stared at her blankly.

"I see you still believe that you'll all get out of this alive." The girl murmured, while glancing down. Rae raised one of her eyebrows in a questioning manner.

"Why shouldn't I?" She asked suspiciously. Ulissia blinked once, before glancing to stare Rae in the eyes. "You need to rest." Rae's quizzical stare silently encouraged Ulissia to elaborate.

"Though you are experiencing a physical period of rest, your mind is awake. You are getting not mental relief, which will take it's toll on you eventually. Rest." Rae opened her mouth to reply, though Ulissia held her hand up quickly. Against the black background, her pale hand seemed to almost glow. "Close your eyes."

Before Rae could react, she felt her eyelids become heavy, and her mind foggy. It wasn't long before she was asleep, and out of the world of her subconscious.

------

Rae wasn't sure how long it had been before her eyes finally opened. All she was aware of was that it was cold, and dark. "Mm..." She murmured, while blinking slowly. She could feel something against her back, and when her eyes adjusted, the human saw that she had been propped up against the wall.

Glancing down at her stomach slowly, the human saw a darker pink cloth around her wound. ' Someone must have redressed it... but who wou...?' For a second, Ulissia's words played though Rae's head; "Your physical body is all right. You're well taken care of you know, especially for a human who is always in the presence of vampires."

"Sa'Vinitta..." She muttered quietly, answering the question that she had asked herself mentally, while eyeing the 'bandages'. 'That's what she meant by that sentence.' Rae blinked slowly, and closed her eyes. 'I should thank him. Where's Sarusen? Ugh... Sa'Vinitta is probably with him. But where is he?'
PostPosted: Wed Apr 11, 2007 3:17 pm

Sa'Vinitta cautiously peered over the railing, silently wondering why Camaris and Rena weren't doing anything. He glances at the sleeping form of the boy, Sarusan he remembered Camaris callign him, laying on the floor. He realizes that he probably should have stayed with Rae, but he wondered why he didn't here any fighting and went to investigate. Besides, Sarusan is now a vampire and would need to feed when he woke up. Seeing how Sa'Vinitta could only carry one person, he took Sarusan. This way he can watch him when he wakes up.

We just stared at each other, neither of us knowing what to do. We weren't locked in mental combat, which knowing Rena was suprising. Her right ear twitched. I mentally grin. Her right ear always twitches when she's thinking. The question now is when she was going to move. We have no weapons so I tighten my fists. Her ear twichted again and she lunged. She threw a right hook towards my face, but I moved my head and dodged. She flung her knee upwards into my stomach. Her arms began flailing, almost too fast to follow. I accepted every punch, carefully moving my feet towards hers while she concentrated on me. She let up slightly and I made my move. I hooked my foot behind hers and got it out from under her. She began to move backwards, but I grabbed her arm. I balled up my right fist and drew it back. Tightening my grip on her arm I drew her in towards me and punched out with my fist. With the combined momentum of my moving fist and her moving head, my fist slammed into her face with so much force as to shatter nearly every bone. She staggered backwards, but I refused to let up. While she was stunned I continued to slam punch after punch into her body. It didn't matter if it glanced or was a direct hit. As long as she kept moving backward it worked in my favor. I kept her in a backward motion toward a corner. Suddenly she lashed out and wrapped her arms around my waist. I pushed down on her arms, but was unable to get her off. I begin to flap my wings and lift myself, and her, into the air. I slammed my knees into her ribcage as we ascended repetetivly. It got to where my wing tips were brushing agians t the ceiling. I began slamming my elbows into her head as well as continuing to slam my knees into her ribcage. Nothing worked. I grab her hair and lifted her head to look at me. Her face was covered in blood. Her nose smashed. She couldn't see through all the blood welling up in her eyes. But I felt no pitty. She put me through too much. I saw too much of her carnage to have any feelings of pitty whne it came down to this beast before me. The angert took its hold again. I balled up my fist and slammed it into her face again, and again, and again. Her grip relented, but I did not. I kept pounding, and pounding. Before I knew it I started screaming as I slammed my fist into her face over and over and over. My fist turned red with the blood that has been coated on it, but I kept pounding. Her body went limp and my hand went numb, but I kept pounding. Blood spatered all over myself, the ceiling, and the floor but I kept pounding. Memories of my family, my wife, Marya, Kira, My friends throughout the years that she took so much pleasure in slaughtering. All rthese merories only served to fuel the fire of my anger. I kept pounding even after her face was unregonizable. I faintly heard Sa'Vinitta screaming at me to stop, but My rationality was already gone. I knew she wasn't dead. I've only been pounding her face. No way was she dead. Unconcious yes, but not dead. My fist hasn't even ouched her brain. "Camaris. Her vampires ar here." Sa'Vinitta screamed. That got my attention and I dropped the limp form of Rena. I turned around and saw what must of been all of Rena's genetically enhanced vampires, for there were too many to count. Without any second thoughts or remorse for my brutality I flew into the ranks of the vampires. I knew Rena wasn't dead, but I didn't care. She couldn't fight back anymore, but these knew enemys could.

Rae's head pounded, and she struggled to stand. It was silent, and she was alone. Leaning heavily on the wall, the human used her sense of touch to lead her along; she couldn't see anything just yet. Only bright stars, which she imagined only happened due to the fact that she had stood after being seated for however long it actually was that she was out.

How long had she been unconscious? It was quite, and the sounds of Camaris and Rena's battle didn't ring throughout the house. Rae stopped her stumbling foreword; Sa'Vinitta wasn't in her sight. Neither was Sarusen... and she could no longer hear Camaris. Once again, her conversation with Ulissia replayed itself in her mind.

"I see you still believe that you'll all get out of this alive."

Her heart beat faster, and Rae moved quicker now, and the stars behind her eyes began to disappear. However, the sound of battle reached her ears once more, and it was a familiar one. 'Camaris and Rena?' She questioned.

'Where is Sa'Vinitta and Sarusen then?' The human had not time to think about an answer, when a scream reached her ears. It was Camaris, and soon after, the sounds of Sa'Vinitta screaming for someone to stop echoed throughout the house.

Rae moved as swiftly as she could, clutched the doorway of the room leading to the railing of the stairs for support. She stepped out, still leaning heavily on the wall. The sight she was greeted with made her want to punch the wall in aggravation.

Vampires. Lots of them; and by the looks of it, Camaris had only just started slicing his way into them. Sa'Vinitta looked unharmed, and as for Camaris... Rae couldn't tell.
