 Nox smiled, both at the words and the kiss on his temple. Hm ... it was closer to where he wanted to be kissed. Maybe, if they kept talking, Chase would keep getting closer ... "Well, since he doesn't want to die, it looks like he won't come out as long as I'm around," Nox pointed out.

"He will if Winter's in trouble," Chase said. "That's the only thing I like about him. He's willing to risk his life for his master. Loren was the one that created him out of snow and ice. I'm still not sure how considering he can't use magic... He made me one too. Ember... But I never use him."

Nox tilted his head, making note to not melt Glacier ... even if he really wanted to. He wondered about Loren, seeing as he'd met the servant and now had a face to the name, and asked: "Why not?" before daring to give Chase a small kiss on the chin.

The assassin glanced down at the boy before looking over at Winter, glad to see his brother was now passed out on the floor, raspberry juice on his lips and the empty container laying next to him. Sure that he didn't have an audience, he tilted Nox's head up and gave him a chaste kiss on the lips. "I prefer to do my own fighting," he answered. "Having someone else there only hinders me. Ember and I aren't like Winter and Glacier. When they fight, it's like one body moving together. They have complete trust in each other, the way me and Winter do. But I don't really trust Ember to keep himself safe, so I'm constantly looking over my shoulder to make sure he's okay. When I do that, it leaves me open to attack."

Nox felt a warmth travel from his lips up to his hair and then all the way down to his toes at the small kiss. It made him want the assassin to kiss him like he had before ... well, he killed him. Yes, he'd defiantly like one of those without the dieing again part. But he'd wait, if Chase wanted to. Until he got impatient anyway. "Oh," Nox said with a nod, understanding that. That was why, when Lords battled one another, the smaller Elementals were forbidden to interfere most of the time. They'd just get in the way or get hurt, and no Lords wanted that. Little Elementals were delicate enough. He then nuzzled the assassin's chest again, pondering. He wondered if Chase would ever view him as a hindrance in a fight. The Lord hoped not. Then he would have to prove just how capable he was on his own.

Chase gently squeezed the boy's shoulder, humming a bit. "You should see me and my brother fight... It's always interesting to watch, so I've heard. You wouldn't think we were brothers with how we go at each other. Fighting with someone by your side is hard to do. You must be able to place absolute trust in that person to not only watch your back but to watch your own. And then you have to do the same for them. When me and Winter fight, it's the same thing. I trust him to block my every move no matter how quick or powerful and he trusts me to do the same. It's difficult to find someone that you can place so much trust into."

Nox nodded. He could easily see the two of them together like that, in combat. But, then again, he'd seen a lot of combat ... a lot of wars. With his real form, he was used to fighting alone ... it was a necessity sometimes, with how hot he got when agitated, especially when fighting. It might be too much to ask that Chase trust him that much. The Fire Lord placed a hand over the one Chase had on his shoulder, enjoying the simple contact and light humming. "Do you mind ... if I fall asleep on you?" he asked.

Nox smiled back, then cuddled close, breathing in the elf's scent and feeling his warmth. "Okay ..." he said softly, closing his eyes. "Just wanted to make sure ... you wouldn't get mad ... or something ..."

Nox smiled lightly, and slowly relaxed where he was, breath evening out. The meeting would be called eventually, but right now he just wanted to sleep close to the one he was growing to care deeply for.

Snickering slightly, Chase let the boy sleep against him, looking between Nox and his brother. His little group of friends and family seemed to be growing quickly, and the assassin wasn't sure if that was a good thing or bad thing, but he had no plans on hindering it's progress.

 Ignis slowly yawned, arching his back in a stretch before spotting Markas on the couch and grinning. The salamander, a bit smaller than he'd been when he'd gone to sleep, crept over to the couch and crawled onto the dragon, cuddling close. Sure, he wasn't usually a cuddle bug, but he felt like snuggling at the moment.

MARKAS & JOSHUA
Joshua looked up from his post on the couch, watching Ignis crawl onto Markas and sit there. He frowned a bit but sipped his tea and went back to silently reading his book as Markas shifted and rolled over, hugging Ignis to his chest like a teddy bear.

Ignis smiled, nuzzling the dragon's chest and giving Markas's chin a lick. "Good morning ..." the salamander chuckled, thinking the dragon didn't seem to want to wake up any time soon.
