The sting of the bullet grazing his arm had Silva jerking away by instinct. He turned, still not able to see who had been stupid enough to shoot him. Scagg took advantage, slamming his fist into the other man's temple and watching as he went limp. He shoved himself to his feet and dragged Silva over his shoulder, heading for the woods.
"Wait! Put him down, Scagg and let me get this aimed." Loki called out, making the large man stop.
"A'ight... but he won't stay like this fer long..." Scagg replied, turning. One of his ribs was broken, and he was having a hard time seeing out his right eye. He dropped Silva, stepping away.
"Wait..." The voice made them all jerk, looking at Silva. "Give me back my sight first."
... Fine. Io said, letting the hold go. She was tired. So tired that she leaned against the nearest person, unable to stand on her own. He turned, looking straight at her. But before he could speak the flash from the machine hit him and he was gone.

Fauve held up Io as best she could.. the worried look in her eyes.. 'Someone help me get her inside and laid down.. she's tired...' Fauve didn't move.. she might be feminine.. but she isn't a coward and she wouldn't desert a friend in need..
Merci dropped the gun and hit her knees... she was shaking pretty badly.. "Oh he's going to be pissed when and if he finds his way back here....." She wasn't particularly concerned that he would be after her.. but she was worried because she was stupid enough to shoot him not once.. but twice...

Kataio runs up to Io's other side and helps Fauve hold her up. "Fauve do you know where we can take her?" Kataio tried to lean most of Io's weight on herself, Fauve looked worried and a wee bit shaken. Knowing she couldn't hear Fauve maybe she could just nod or point in the right direction.

Fauve nodded toward Ice's home... She should be in her own bed... someone could stay with her.. heck if no one else would she would stay with her.. she was physically exhausted and it was catching up to her.. She started walking, helping Io and Kata as much as she could..
Merci got up off the ground and holstered her gun.. she took a few steps toward Fauve when a mental 'Don't worry about it' Hit her.. and confused her.. Had she made Fauve angry somehow?

Kataio helped Fauve bring Io to her own house. She opened the door and looked at Fauve. "I'll pick her up for a bit. I can't hold her long. Can you lead me to her room so we can put her to bed?" Kataio picked up Io and rolled her eyes a bit thinking she needed to work on her weight training again.

"Why didn't you just shoot him?" Chae asked angrily. "And I don't mean the nick on the arm!"
She was worried, and sick...and worried sick about all this. But she turned and offered to help with Io. It was the least she could do.
"You and I are going to talk, Shi." she said to the girl, who nodded, eyes widening. It looked like it was she...and not Nika that was in trouble after all. "For now, go back to the house and wait there."

Merci sighed and looked and Chae.. "I did the best I could.. he's one hard SOB to nail alright... a least we got him the hell out of the settlement... By the by.. thank you Loki for that..."
Fauve looked at Kata and then walked back through the house.. she supposed they were set up like the rest of the houses and it wouldn't be hard to find Io's room.. she found a bed at least that didn't look like it belonged to one of the boys and pointed for Kata to put the girl down

Kataio nodded thankful that no one was too seiously injured as she put Io down on the bed. "I need to get back to Zahar. I kinda ran off with out her. I'll see if one of the other gaurdians can help further if needed." Kataio looked down at Io one more time then left the room. She saw Chea just outside. "Can you help them out inside if they need anything else? I have to get to Zahar."

"Sure." she nodded. They should have shot him afterwards, then. Hell, SHE should have. She hadn't thought of it, too curious as to what was going on otherwise.
Shiva had gone immediately home, looking around for Nika, but not seeing him. Too bad...she might be grounded for life at this rate.
Especially after ....
Going in to the kitchen, she made tea quickly. Then she ran it across to Io's house.
Chae was about to ream Shiva out when she came into the room when she saw the tea in her hands. Eyes softening slightly, she took the tray. "Back to your room, now. If you're not wanting to be alone, go next door."
*All right.* She agreed. *Im sorry I worried you. But not sorry that I acted. Does that help?*
"It may eventually. Now shoo."

Fauve collapsed down on the bed next to Io and her eyes tried to shut.. She shook her head to try and keep awake. She reached a hand up and rubbed her eyes through the holes in her mask, knowing that Chae wouldn't understand her even if she talked to her she gestured the she would stay, then pointed after Shiva. Trying to mime 'it's okay to go'.
Merci sighed, she wouldn't be getting any sleep tonight.. at least she could go check on Uriel and make sure the little hat boy was alright...

Io sighed, rubbing her temple before getting comfortable. She hadn't asked to be taken to bed, but for once she wasn't going to complain. She wasn't strong enough. The mask tampered her power, leaving her practically defenseless.
I... shouldn't have tried to do that on my own. She muttered, not looking at Fauve. He's more then I can handle.

The tea tray tembled in Shiva's hand as she realized something was about to happen. She knelt down, setting it on the dround before falling to her knees. The world was spinning... spinning around her. With a soft sigh she fainted, slumping to the ground as her body changed, the tea sitting next to her, not a drop spilled.

It was the first time she had actually seen it happen. The first time, Shi had been on her back, and by the time she had noticed her as a girl, she was already ... well... a GIRL. Not a mask.
Now she was not a child but a girl. A teenager. Blinking at Fauve and Io, then to the ground, she said the first thing that came to her mind.
"How am I going to get her home now?" she exclaimed in dismay.

Scagg stumbled into the house, holding his ribs, intent on wrapping himself up before he went to bed. Loki was behind him, groaning slightly. "You know, if you didn't insist on being such a--"
"I did what I 'ad ta do, Loki. J'st like you did what you 'ad to." He muttered, blinking at the sight of the female on the floor. "Umm... 'ello." He muttered, looking at the guardian. He hadn't actually talked to Chae since the gardening experience. He didn't really feel like talking to her now, but...
"Ya need any 'elp?" He finally asked, biting back a wince of pain as his ribs protested his speaking. Silva had done a number on him, that was for sure.

"Hello Scagg." Chae answered, tone neutral friendly. 'I think the question is more if I can help you. She looks quite comfortable on the floor, which is more than I can say for you if you collapse there and bleed all over everything. I think Loki and I can manage?" she lifted an eyebrow at the other inquisitively, shrugging at the room full of semi conscious and ill individuals "...after we tend to what ails you."
