Nailah just looked at him for a moment. Heal myself? Then she was aware of pain in her arms. She looked down at her blood soaked arms and shook her head. She had totally forgotten. She walked over to her nightstand and pulled out a piece of parchment and a quill. Slowly she looked down at her arms. There were five symbols that she knew were hieroglyphs. She wrote down the first, the sun. Then there was a space on her arm where the other should be. Behind it lay the scarab. She tried to switch hands and write down the others but only managed one. Gritting her teeth in frustration she stared at the others until she had them memorized and then put them on the paper as well. When she was finished she laid the extra parchment in the drawer wiht the quill. THen she tucked the sheet she had written on into a hidden pocket in her dress. She quickly healed her arms until they were back to their sun-kissed color wiht no hint that the skin had ever been broken. There was a twinge as the veins she had massacred closed up but she knew that would go away momentarily. When she was finished she looked at Alex and said, "Now will you do what I asked?"

Nailah shook her head. "Healing may not work but at the very least I can get this glass out." She had seen him glance at the parchment and thanked Ra when he didn't ask about it. She really didn't feel like explaining anything right now. It was just too much hassle. Slowly she moved her hands along his back feeling for the glass. She bit her lip and began plucking the larger bits out. Gently she pulled them out and restrained herself from healing him. She hated that she couldn't. It made her feel helpless and unsure. When the blood came she said softly "I'm very sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you." Gently she leaned down and touched her lips to his back. Straightening she continued looking for glass that had embedded itself in his skin.

Nailah glared at his back. She saw a rather large piece in his back that she had missed and yanked it out. "Oh I'm sorry. Did that hurt?" she asked smirking. She ran her hands once more over the skin and then was satisfied that there was no more glass. She stepped back and picked up his shirt. "There. All done." She tossed his shirt at him and said "I did it without thinking. I lost my temper and it happened. THe road to hell is paved with good intentions. I hardly think that applies here.And had I done it for love" she said smirking at him. "You wouldn't be moving for quite a while. Trust me." She shook her head and rolled her eyes. Men could be so aggravating sometimes. She walked over to the remains of her dressing table and began to survey the damage. Glass was everywhere but that was fixed easily enough. She saw all her healing salves had been destroyed. She picked up a bottle of what used to be burn ointment and sighed. "Dammit. Now I have to do all this over again. I haven't made this stuff in years. And my herb garden is probably dead." SHe continued to mutter things under her breath.

Niah shook her head and sighed. She really should try and get the mess cleaned up but just then she wasn't feeling like it. She supposed she was probably weak from all the blood she had lost and food would help energize her. She slowly walked out the door and noticed Alex watching her. "Will you stop looking at me like that? It makes me nervous..."

Nailah heard the explosion and felt anger. She narrowed her eyes at Alex's back and clenched her teeth. "Dammit!" She screamed. She walked over to her door and slammed a hand against it the slap reverberating through out the hall. She didn't have to open it to know there was nothing left. Nothing. Leaning her head against the door she began to curse. "Damn you Alexander. Who the hell do you think you are?!" She conitnued to rant and rave at the door until she felt the anger explode. He was upset over one fireball she had done accidentally. He hadn't seen anything yet. She looked around for Rasui knowing he wouldn't have done it with her in teh room. After a few minutes she decided that seh would find her cat later. Now she had a Watcher to deal with. She had to do this very carefully though. Adopting what appeared to be a calm appearance she slowly walked to the kitchen. By the time she made it she was seething inside but refused to show it. She walked in and slowly opened the fridge searching for something to eat. Refusing to look at him she said, "Now that you've acted like a little boy who couldn't have something he wanted, shall we grow up and move on to adult things?You really can't keep blowing things up Alexander." She was finished wiht this. First he destroys her sheets, then her room. If he hadn't been such a jerk I wouldn't have pulled the glass out so hard. ANd where in the living hell am I going to sleep now? She pulled out the cheesecake Saradin made and began to slice herself a piece. "Can I get you one?" she asked smiling her voice sugary sweet.

Rasui yawned and stretched. She jumped when she heard an explosion. Her fur rose and she hissed at the manor. She looked down at the two kittens sleeping on the grass beside her and then glared at teh manor again. Then she curled into a protective ball and went back to sleep on teh grass in the courtyard.
