Now that, Phil, is a dilemma. If you need any detailed help, IM me.

other than turning on/off and possibly screwing up a computer's aiming system, but possibly aiding it's target aquisition sub processes, I wouldn't think that telekenesis would do anything at all for automatic gun emplacements...

Yeah, I'm not seeing how telekinesis would help. As the remote application of kinetic force, it could only assist by pushing on controls, pushing on the gun, or pushing on the bullet. Due to automation, none of those should be really necessary. Now, telepathy might help, but that's a seperate (but often related) power, if the controls had a magically constructed telepathic interface to aid with target designation and set commands for concentration of fire. Magic could also be used, to create "tags" for targets, and set their priority. Though that'd have to be one badass cannon to make doing that more efficient than simply blowing the target up, crushing it, frying it, freezing it, liquifying it, or disintegrating it.

Perhaps he plans on using telekinesis to push the targets closer to the gun, so they would be easier to hit.

That'd just throw off the aim. If you've got automated turrets, the less interference that occurs without being processed through the controls, the better.

True enough.
...
Unless the turrets themselves could use telekinesis to pull their targets closer!

Now that's just crazy talk, man. Pull yourself together!

I can't! I'm a hobo! Hoboes are always crazy!

That's not true. Doctor Hobo isn't crazy. He's just... Misunderstood. A lot.

Especially by anthropomorphic cats.

Now, listen very carefully:
[uses secret hobo magic]
You will go dig into the dumpster until you find a tome full of ancient writings!

Err... If it's important, there's a strong possibility that I wrote it, or already know the contents.

Well, its not particularly important, and unless you've been around for thousands of generations and have a lot of crayons, I doubt you wrote it.See next thread for detailsSee next thread for detailsSee next thread for details

Err... While the first part is true, I don't generally work in colored wax. Not my preferred writing implements.

See next thread for details Oh, I find they make the writing look very interesting, and, at the same time, absolutely incomprehensible.

Well, see, that's the thing. I generally don't create tomes unless I intend them to communicate something. If I don't want someone to learn or be entertained by the contents, I don't write.
