"Well, in one sense I'm fine. All I honestly need is for everyone around me to be in better condition. That makes me more happy than anything else." Saradin looked down into the large gentle eyes of the pup he held, such a distracting illusion it was. "But that doesnt make a difference does it?" He laughed to himself as he rocked back and forth in the light chair, trying to imagine how hed have taken this if he were elsewhere.

"Indeed. But the longer I go, the less I wonder if I was wrong. I look at the things around me here, and you can almost sense as he continues fighting the pressence here. But now that this place is being controlled..." Saradin lifted his hand into the air and focused on it. Within it formed a swirling mass of energy the built into a small bird. The bird grew and flourished, its feathers lit in glowing energy as it spread its wings and shrieked to the air before vanishing completely, the temporary phoenix gone from existance.

"Phoenix... I could live by that title. But not for now, Im rather fond of the name that I was left with, even if I took it by force. Its also the one that he fought so hard for, its meant a lot to many." Pondering how he taken the name for so long, though it was really never his own, Saradin manipulated the air around him, filling it with dots of light that blinked in and out of existance.

Eclipse shifted his position in Saradin's lap, now lying on his back and wings, all four paws hanging in the air above him, watching Saradin's light show. "Saradin, Phoenix. After you mean something to so many people for so long, you learn to take other names than your original. Some people will only call you by that, others by an endearing nickname. Look at me. You and Aurahkah call me Eclipse, the others like to cut my name and do different versions. Then there's the names like Sun Shadow and the like."


Searing white, shifted all to easily to dark oblivion. In the darkness that was her sleeping mind, only one thing appeared in it all. The book shelf still stood, on the floor next to it a chest locked up tight and a book with a lock on it also. Both were surrounded by what seemed to be a clear shield that took their form. From out behind the shelf a little girl stepped. She was peering at a book she was holding with big chocolate brown eyes. Her hair was cut short, only falling to her chin and wore a cream color knee length dress that was speckled with dried blood and dirt. On her deeply tanned skin dark bruises could be seen on her arms and legs, a collar of bruises around her throat and a few on her face. A few cuts here and there accompanied the bruises. She closed the book and set it in it's place on the shelf. Reaching up she pulled another book from the shelf and opened it, thumbing through it. Seeing the edges of pages that had been ripped out, she closed that one and set in on the floor. Looking up, she spotted Vincent, she stared a him a moment, hands clasped behind her back before tilting her head at him. "You're not supposed to be in here..."

Eclipse was balancing himself with tiny outstretched wings. "Wow...that place really gone to hell...and back it seems. Something constructive....you're always constructive. Making swords, cooking...there's no stopping you sometimes." He leaned to look at Saradin's distraction, slipping off his shoulder, catching himself on his wings in the air before hitting the ground. "I'm surprised you don't pass out or have a heart attack or something. At the pace you go, you make me tired and it's hard to do that...I mean...I can't really get tired, I'm pure energy." He did a few lazily circles before settling next to Saradin's shoes.

((Whoa...dozed off sweatdrop ))

"I'm not lazy...I'm laid back and easy going." Walking along at Saradin's heels all the way the little wolf kept up. "You'll see what you can do...ha...everytime you say that you do something that makes everyone's eyes go wide and their jaws drop. Several more women fall for you, and several more men feel you've out shined them." Taking a running start his claws dug into the trees bark as he ran up its trunk and padded onto a branch where he laid down on it, pawing at an apple that was hanging there.

((Yes...yes it does. I'm picking up from here tomorrow, I need this 'sleep' you speak of. And then I'll just come back and finish some plots after killing Vincent's net server, seeing as it crapped out on him...one day I shall rule all Internet connections and they will be the best, never going out and....wow, I'll stop now... sweatdrop Maybe the tacos will be gone tomorrow too. Night.))

Niah looked at Alex in surprise. Her mouth hung open and her violet eyes grew wide. She had not meant to do that. He wasn't going to be happy either. She stood up and ran over to him moving aside the bottles that hadn't completely shattered. "Alex....? Are you alright?" She could see him laying there on his stomach. Purplish liquid was on his back. Her stomach clenched when she realized it was blood. Oh by Ra! What have I done? Completely disregarding her own wounds she reached down to see how badly he was hurt. Standing she said. "Go lay down on the bed and take your shirt off." She walked over to the bed and waited for him to do what she had said.
