Banshi Two words: mountain vacation. Some friends and I are renting a cabin in Colorado for a few weeks in June. There will be much mountain climbing, white water rafting, and chocolate covered cherry eating. ^_^ Envy!! I wanna go to Colorado too! Of course, I could...

Not super-near. But close enough that I could get some free time and drive there for the hell of it. Provided I didn't intend to drive back the same day.

Very fun.
I hate when people I know from online are going to be within driving distance for a few days. I positively itch to meet them. gonk

I lived in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia last year. Mountains are beautimous. But moving from MS (read: FLAT) to VA was a bit strainng on the musculature. hee! ^_^

I moved away from it into a town where all the gyms are horribly inconvenient and ill equipped.
