She gazed around in wonder. "Wow, this is just crazy. I've never been anywhere like this." She said quietly.
"Are you going to hide when the scary bits come on?" He asked with a grin.
"I did manage to get some decent sleep thanks." She smiled at him. "Baby was pretty good all night for a change."

He smiled and put his hand on his daughter's shoulder. "Wait until we're inside. This is just the lift", he said with a smirk and with a ding the doors opened. They stood in a room with massive windows going from the ceiling right down to the floor. "Welcome on floor 56 go and enjoy the view, ifg you like, ma fleur".
"As if"; Nate said with a chuckle and had another swig of his beer. "I love horror movies. I am not going to hide. But you can", he said with a wink.
Freddie smiled and walked over to the table, sitting down opposite of her. "Glad to hear that. I am guessing the others are rehearsing?"

She grinned and ran over to the windows, looking out over the city. "This... is... AMAZING!" She looked over her shoulder at her father and grinned.
He laughed. "You have some cheek there kotyonok."
She nodded. "Yep, everyone is out there doing their thing." She sighed a little and looked down at the table, playing with her drink.

Lucius walked up behind her and put a hand on her shoulder while she looked outside. "Wait till it gets dark.Tokyo is beautiful at night".
He chuckled and sat back down next to Misha. He took the remote and and turned the film on. "Sorry not sorry".
"Well, I am here now", he said with a gentle smile and brushed his fingers against her cheek. Alexia could see the worry in his eyes and it seemed like there was something he wanted to say only he did not know how.

"How long will it be before it's dark?" She asked eagerly.
He laughed and threw a cushion at him.
"What's wrong Freddie?" She asked with a frown, not mincing her words.

"Not too long", he said, checking the time. "One, maybe two hours. I'm not entirely sure", he walked over to another set of lifts and pointed at them. "This is where the restricted area begins. You need special permissions to enter and we have retina scans on most of the gates. Also to make the lift work", he explained.
"Hey, that was mean", he said with a soft chuckle then leant in to steal a kiss from him.
Freddie lowered his hand and leant back on his chair. He sighed a little and shook his head. "You tell me. Why are you here, Alexia? Why aren't you with Lucius?"

She followed after her father. "That is crazy." She said with raised eyebrows. "How many people are allowed into this restricted area?" She asked.
He let Nate kiss him then pulled back and poked him. "Let's watch this movie then."
"You know... the usual." She sighed slightly. "I couldn't be near him or our home any longer."

"A few scientists, vampiric and human and me ... and some day not too far away, you maybe, too", he said with a smirk. He walked towards the lift and pressed the button to call it. "Do you want to see what's in there, ma fleur?"
Nate nodded his head and snuggled up to him, then watched the movie.
Freddie sighed a little and nodded his head. "That's what I thought. But why this time? What happened? Where are the kids?"

She grinned. "Of course I do!" She bounced slightly on her toes. "What would you want me to do here?"
"Faith has gone to Japan to see Lucius, Nate is back in Firenze." She sighed a little. "We fought about you. About how he gave me that drug to make me forget, yet blames me for our dalliances." She ran her fingers through her hair in frustration.

Freddie shook his head. "He should not be the one pointing fingers. He's created this mess. He's been playing with your feelings and mine. But this time, it's bigger Alexia", he looked at her hopefully. "This baby ... it could be mine, right?"
"Well, I don't know how much you're interested in genetics or science in general but I was hoping you'd want to do an internship to find out what I am doing here".

She rubbed her tummy a little. "It could be and I think that is why he has blown up so much. He doesn't want to think about how it could be yours. He's created this predicament."
"Once I finish High School then sure I'd like that." She nodded, after considering it.

Lucius chuckled. "You could finish High School in Japan, ma fleur. You don't need to sleep so you can assist me during the nights".
Freddie ran his hand through his hair in frustration and sighed a little. "I .... I never thought I could be a father. But when you had Nate and Faith it felt like we were a family. After Lucius had left ... it was nice. I liked it. But I don't think he's going to let this happen".

"I'm not going to lie, it did make things easier in a way." She sighed sadly. "I'm always so torn though. I love you but I also love Lucius and that's something I can't control."
She shook her head slightly. "No Papa. I want to finish schooling where Mama is. It wouldn't be fair to just leave her."

Freddie sighed a little and downed the rest of his coffee. "Well, I understand. He is and always will be your maker. The bond between him and you is strong".
"You go to school in Venice and your mother is in London", he said with a shrug. "School is not important for a vampire girl".
