"Alright." he said as he took out his royal ring and passed it to Antares. "Don't give it to anyone. Anyone who wears it has power over all the kingdom." Ryu said with a serious tone.  (imagine it's smaller.)

Antares nodded, but he didn't take the ring right away. "Very well then, but before I wear it, I need to do something first...I may regret this later...but..." He lifted up the sleeve of his uniform to reveal an amulet. It was attatched to a band wrapped around his upper arm. Antares removed the amulet and gave it Ryu.

Ryu looked at the amulet, as he examined it carefullly. "What is it?" he asked as he looked at Antares with a serious look.

"It's a-" Antares couldn't finish his sentence. He fell to one knee, placing his hand on his stomach. Between clenched teeth, he continued to speak. "All Great Sages aren't born, they're chosen. Once chosen...we're given a symbol of power that transforms us...only, once we have the symbol, we cannot wear something of a similar nature. In my case, it was a piece of jewellery, so I can't wear your ring until..." Antares was engulfed in a flash of light. This light now appeared as an orb where he was standing.

Ryu helped Antares stand. "I-I can't take such a valueble thing. There must be something else I can do to inform the kingdom that you're my representative." Ryu looked at Antares with a concerned look. "Are you arlight? You should but your amulet back on. It seems dangerous if you're not wearing it."

The orb slowly began to disappear. Once gone, a young man, about his mid 20s, was standing infront of Ryu, he was wearing the royal ring.
"What? Suprised to see me?"

Ryu stared in shock. "Wow. I really never expected to see you like this. You really suprised me this time Antares. Now you're younger than me. I'm still stuck on my 30s." Ryu said as he sighed. "Still, you're not that old man you used to. Does this transformation mean you're alright then?" Ryu asked still with a shocked face.

Right after Ryu had said that he turned back to his oldself. "Phew. About time." he said as he looked at himself carefully." He noticed he had grew 2 more inches. "Hey Antares check this out. I grew. Now I'm 6 feet. Sweet!" he said smiling. "I'm almost certain that I won't be transforming again."
Ryu began inspecting himself."What? Why the hell do I still have the ponytail? I didn't have it before. I only have it or will have it when I'm 30." Ryu said to himself.
I should text Anna. he thought. He began texting her about the situation and that he had to speak with her about something serious.  (imagine that ryu has a small ponytail just like his 30 year old version of him.)

Melody sat down on one of the desks and looked down. She laughed. I'm so pissed right now. Not at him...but at me for not being able to be mad. Gosh. She leaned back with her hands behind her head.

Ryu turned to Melody. "Don't be so harsh to yourself. There are things that sometimes we can't handle. You and him were friends so it's understandable that you're disappointed." Ryu said trying to cheer her up.

Melody smirked. Thanks...I guess. She got up because right now she didn't feel like sitting still. She picked up her throwing knife on the spider wire and threw it at a few test dummies.

Ryu nodded. "Well Miss Rhapsody and Antares, I should get going to see Anna. There's stuff I need to say that are very vital. I'll be back soon I hope." he said as he left.

"Catcha later." The young Antares called as Ryu left. He wandered over to Melody. "Y'know, knives are all well and good...but..." From his position, Antares flung the blade he was carrying at the dummy. It hit the dummy in the chest, breaking it in two. "...Scimitars are much better for the killshot." From the handle of the scimitar was a piece of cloth. This cloth ran from the handle straight to Antares' closed fist. He yanked on it, causing the weapon to fly back into his hand and rested its blade on his shoulder.
