Celeste had never expected this. She had barely felt the tail underneath her large boots. Her eyes twitched first to side towards the other, but back to him, suddenly expecting he would strangle her or something. Either him or them. It's not like she hadn't been picked up by her collar before. But his felt like a death grip. She grinned nervously, trying to seem innocent. He snarled at her, and she flinched back. What was this? Why did he have fangs?
Celeste he wasn't that heavy, but Jeremy couldn't hold her up now a days. So this man was even more impressive. And then at the same time, less. His threat was dry to her. This boy was, as soon as he started speaking harshly, had become boring to her. But her sister was suddenly more intresting. This kindness was odd. But well-recievied. She glared silently, at her sister, before back to the boy. "Gentlemen these days are so hard to come by." Celeste didn't know to respond well to this kindness, though. Which was obvious. Behind this disgusted face, she was nervous and horrified.
Celeste looked over to her sister then, a bit of a sly grin on her face. "Is this that guy you like? Daniel or something? Or is it some other werewolf." There a snap at each of them. She could easily scream werewolf louder. And then what? Imagine the students freaking out. No doubt this person would be kicked from school. Parents would be ashamed and digusted. It could be the greatest prank pulled all year. But wasn't it odd for a werewold to have a tail when it's not a full moon. Whatever. Didn't matter. No one would care. They just freak out.

"Of course I'm Daniel, squirt, I'm in costume..." Rene chuckled, flicking his fuzzy wolf ears at the girl before tossing her into the air to catch properly in his arms. "You should have seen the look on your face," the wintery-maned youth laughed, winking back to Kayla's overprotective glare with a confidence that seemed to make things alright all on its own, "It's like you thought I was really going to eat you for a second there..."
"Now, I'm kind of sneakin' in the back door here," He whispered, leaning in closely to the little girl's ear as though fearful for those who might hear. Casting a glance around the hallway, and apparently satisfied by what he saw, Rene gave his fuzzy wintersilk ears another flick and stretch of relief as they slid free of his hair. "I'm countin' on you to keep my attendance to the ball a secret, alright kiddo?" He smiled, icey blue eyes melting as his fair, pale lips split open to reveal a silver grin more charming than even the most maiden-kissed frog prince could produce. As though to solidify the act, the wintery-maned werewolf's bushy white tail slithered up from the depths of his robe to flick across Celeste's nose tickilishly.

Kayla stood there, frozen in her spot, breif horror passed threw her face. First, at her sisters comment, then, more then anything, at Rene's comment. Her stomache felt like it was going to explode, and she could feel the reddness in her cheeks. She made a mental note to hurt celeste once she regained the movement of her arms. She didn't care that Rene had just throw her sister up in the air like a sack of flour, she was caught in a horrible daze.
Her mind felt like it was going to burst as well. Her eyes seemed to have more moisture in them then she had remembered before hand... quickly she blinked to try and make it go away. To many thoughts and feelings were spinning in her head at once. She took a breath to slow them down. "Celeste, this isn't Daniel, His name is Rene." She said calmly, looking over at him, and then back to her sister.
Rene defenatly had some degree of attractivness to him, but it wasn't that that kept her from looking at him for to long. It was the fact that Celeste had just brought up, a few seconds ago. He reminded her to much of Daniel. She didn't want that at all. Suddenly she realized how far into thinking she was, and quickly snapped out of her thoughts, turning back to the two people infront of her.
"Com'on Rene, i'll show you the common room now" She said, glancing back at Celeste. Hopefully she knew that she had said something quite wrong towards Kayla.

"Looks like the bosswoman needs me, kiddo," Rene chuckled, kneeling to place Celeste back to her own two little feet with a brief hair mussing before stretching back up to his full height. That wasn't to say he was overtly tall, and neither was he short... Standing proud on his own two legs with fuzzy ears and bushy tail outstretched and held as casually as his hands rested in his pockets, the werewolf appeared to be just as tall as he need be, with just enough shortness to lend him a sort of jovial carelessness with his step.
Sighing in bothered frustration, Rene promptly raked his fingers through his hair to hide the furry tips of his triangular wolf ears in the fringes of his wintery mane while his tail slipped back under the cover of his dress robes. "Eyelashes can be a real pain sometimes," He sighed boredly, cupping Kayla's cheek with his warm, black-gloved palm for a moment to stroke the tears from her glistening eyes with a gentle thumb as he strode past, "It's best not to think about them until one can reach out and fix them..."
Patting the girl's face softly, the wintery-maned wizardling flicked his hair out of his own eyes before driving both hands into his pockets to stalk himself a fat lady.

Kayla blinked and watched the boy walk ahead of her towards the common room. It almost seemed like he didn't need guidance getting there. His words lingured in her head as she touched her cheek. He had known her for less then an hour, and already it seemed he knew more about her then alot of people.
She quickened her pase to catch up with him. She listened to the echo of foot steps as she walked up the stairs silently. How unreadable this boy was... one minute he seemed almost stalker-ish, the next in a fit of rage, and then all of a sudden he was compassioniate. Shaking her head, she stepped off the last step and stopped once she had gotten off the stairs. She figured she should say something for his kind words... "Thanks..." She said, shoving her hands into the pockets of her robes "I'm.. sorry you got brought into sone early drama... especially when you've only been here for what? not even a day?" She sighed and wiped her face with her sleeve. She wasn't sure if she had actually been crying or not, or if the surprising about of pressure put on her a few moments ago had just made a small tear escape. her cheeks still felt slightly warm.

"If you want drama," Rene chuckled, sliding his arm around Kayla's shoulders as the fat lady loomed before them like some sort of carnival tent bearing feminine features, "Wait till' someone makes me eat something tomorrow at breakfast..." Winking with a tired grin, the wintery-maned wolf turned his housemate's body before the fat lady's probing glare before leaning over her shoulder expectantly.
"Password?" Rene smiled, cutting off the portrait as she prepared an important-looking breath to ask much the question. Drama was nothing new to his life... His horribly average, no-account life... Tempted to wag his tail at the notion, the young man settled for leaning against the cool stone wall of the final corridor to cross his arms at his chest. "Hurry it up," He chuckled, "This place stinks of badgers..."

Kayla laughed and shook her head, not bothering to escape Rene's arm once more. "Oh believe me, I know drama.." She said, recalling all the past incidents that have happened to either her, her family, or her friends. "Drama is nothing new to me either" she finished, shaking her head slightly. Somehow, she had a terrible feeling that the drama in her life would not slow down any time soon... she quickly pushed that thought away.
"Hyppogriff" She said to the fat lady, who was clearly waiting impatiently for them to hurry up and say the password "Kids these days.." She muttered under her breath as she swung open to reveal the entrance to the Gryffindor common room.
"Well... here it is" Kayla said, crawling threw the hole. "Your new home for the rest of the school year" there was a hint of laughter in her voice. Like anyone wanted to be stuck in a school all year, forced to call it their home.

Jeremy shook his head and watched his feet as he placed them one infront of the other as quickly as he could. He was thinking about reconsidereing entereing the tournament, but now his mind was set. He was going. His reasoning was quite stupid though. Because his friends were in danger, he would put himself in danger to? he sighed and shook his head. Deep down, he knew that if he could survive the tournament, then he could protect the people he loved. Simple as that. He paused for a moment before quickly heading down the corridore that lead to the dungeon. There was no turning back now.

Stepping into the hallway, Makida rubbed her orange eyes and smiled. Position her scarf until is was comfortable she fell silent, thinking about what she was going to do. "It's pretty late..." Grinning she grabbed her friend by the sleeve and pulled her close, "Do you think the books and parchment stacks would mind a late night visit?" She asked her curly haired friend, reffering to the library. Makida didn't believe Rene, but she wanted to. Why not? They had tried to forbidden section already, but something new might be found. Who knows... "Come on Kayla, who cares..." she swallowed, "about your ignorant brother. We don't need a leash." Mak paused, a grin spread across her pink lips, "Or an invitation." Her heart thudded, her mind racing with thoughts of randomness. Questions, answers in which she didn't know what riddle they belonged to, and images of what-have-you.

Kayla stepped quickly in the wake of her friend as she headed off towards the library before Kayla could even reply. "Since when have I ever not been up for a late night wandering" she said with a laugh as she wound her own scarf loosly around her neck. As much as she wanted to believe the boy, she couldn't bring herself to. It was impossible to bring someone back once to normal once they had been bit... but what hurt would it do to look into it a little more? The worst that could happen was she would find out what she already knew. After hearing Makida's second comment, Kayla turned her head and nodded. "Yea, he always thinks that eveyone has to listen to what he says, but he's in for a rude awakening once he realizes that no one listens to him anyways" she said bitterly, rolling her eyes. "Now common, we don't want to get caught wandering the halls this late.." She said, whispering now.

Makida smiled, hiding the lump in her throat. She listened, she just... didn't agree with him. They could do something, they had gone too long with doing nothing and they were no closer than they were before. Just more bitter and tense. Everyone felt it, and Makida knew it. There were so many unsaid things that everyone wanted to say, but never did and perhaps never would. Whispering she replied, "How are we going to get in? If Filch finds us were are in loads of trouble, but if he finds us in the Restricted section we are dead[/]." Making a face, Mak thought about all the things that could happen if he caught them. "I think I'd rather die in the tournament than make myself die infront of him." She shuddered at the thought of the grimy Janitor and continued on at a fast pace toward the library. "... die in the tournament." She hoped no one would have to succumb to that... she was only joshing.

Kayla blinked and turned to her, slowing her pace. "I'm not sure..." She whispered back. biting the side of her lip, she thought for a moment. "wait.." she said, as scattered memories came back to her. "I think I know where the key to the restricted section is.." She had never actually took it herself, but the stories her brother Evan had told her had been enough for her to grasp the idea of where all the 'hidden' things may be. (He wasn't exactly the best student in hogwarts... but he had a good head on his shoulders. So the teachers said. The Branch family believed that's where Jeremy learned to be such a jokester/troublemaker. Frankly, Kayla thought it was all on Jeremy's own stupid accord) "I think we can still get in the normal section" She finished after comming back from her family flashback.

Makida broke her whisper, nearly shouting, "You know where the key is?!" She clapped a hand over her mouth and stifled a giggle. "How do you know this? God why didn't you tell me that before?" She smiled broadly, whispering again. There were no sounds of footsteps, as though they were being led secretly to do their own bidding, wherever, or whenever they wanted. "Oh god... does Jeremy know about it?" She asked, a hopeful look of scared stupidity on her face. Makida laughed quietly at the thought of Jeremy letting loose the secret, accidentally with that big mouth of his. Rolling her amber eyes, she felt her mind racing with thoughts of what exactly they were looking for. Anything to get them moving forwards. Makida smiled at her friend, glad to be bandying about with someone she knew and liked, a true friend.

"A key you say?" Rene's voice chuckled to Makida's exhuberant response, echoing quietly through the otherwise tensely-silent hallways. Where his voice trailed off, the clicking of pointed claws seemed to pick up, clattering out from every direction at once as the dead hallways reverbrated with the invading noise. "Would this key perhaps unlock a certain forbidden something?" the youth's voice echoed again, this time somewhere behind the girls as the clicking claws stopped, as though he couldn't talk and walk at the same time, or even, preferred his roundabout game of peekaboo, "A certain forbidden something in a place where students are excluded from entry by a certain groundskeeper Finch and his cat, Mrs. Norris?"
And then a wintery-white wolf pranced out around the oncoming corner, cocking his head with a grin that no natural creature could wear. Blinking his icey blue eyes, Rene gave the air in the direction of the girls a soft sniff before wagging his tail in a, 'Come and see' manner.
