Yeah, I quit art last year because of the teacher. I wasn't sure if I wanted to or not, but now I'm taking music and it's much better. And then this year I was taking IT Applications, but I'm going to stop. I've been planning to take Multimedia next year since forever, but not anymore. This morning I was still hovering over possibly taking it, but then we got our marks back for our last test, and I nearly failed. The stupid thing is that almost everything I got marks off for, I did properly. He just didn't see it, or something excruciatingly annoying like that. He's absolutely hoooopeless, I could do a better job teaching the class than he does. Anyway... I could go on forever, but I suppose I had better stop now.

I used to have a drama teacher in middle school. He was the avatar of insanity, as most drama teachers are. He would keep an old hand puppet of a shark in his desk drawer, give lectures with an extremely unsettling passion, and give us quizzes that have absolutely nothing to do with drama. Each correct answer would earn a six-month old jube-jube candy being hurled at you.

That's crazy... but then again, I suppose that is what drama teachers are supposed to be. I'm glad that I stopped taking drama years ago, I'm so awful at acting. xd

On a completely unrelated note; I'd like to learn how to play the Double Bass. 3nodding

Oh, one of my classmates learned how to play double bass just for the school musical. Crazy.

Why are burgers in pictures, television shows, and cartoons always so delicious looking? Yet when you get the real thing, it doesn't look nearly as good.

Because when you have 10 seconds to make a hamburger no one is paying attention to how nice it looks.
Have you seen the actual lettuce at McDonalds? It is the opposite of picture perfect.

Isn't that because television food isn't really... food? I always thought that they were glued together and non-edible, inedible, whatever that word was.

Deimos Why are burgers in pictures, television shows, and cartoons always so delicious looking? Yet when you get the real thing, it doesn't look nearly as good. It wouldn't sell if they advertised what it really looked like.

Exactly. Wouldn't it be wonderful if the food actually looked that good? And tasted that good? I suppose it would take a lot longer to get right, though. And I don't eat burgers, either. neutral

I don't know why... I've tried them before and they didn't seem as great as everyone makes them out to be, to me. I'd much rather have miso soup and spaghetti. heart

It is nearly impossible for an average Joe or Jane to make anything that looks that good. Either way, all the food you see that they make on television is fake. Except for cooking shows of cource.
