Fractured Moonlight Captain

Eclipse slowly padded down the hall, ears back, tail still, wings tightly folded, head lowered. The smell of blood was thick in the air. Too thick. And the blood, he knew the smell, it was Saradin's. The only noise that came from the creature was the soft click of claws on marble and the occasional clink of a soul stone bangle. He followed his nose to the infirmary. Reaching there he merely stood just inside the doorway, gazing about the room. In two beds lay two Saradins, between the beds a napping Bastet sat propped. He gave a soft whimper to the room itself.

"Eclipse..." He said, looking over as the wolf entered. "Come to see what the commotion was about?" The words stang his lungs horribly and every inch of him was strained just to stay alive. Seeing his other version's condition filled him with terrible grief, neither of them had been able to divert the damage to each other. "Is Aurah going to kill me for the blood stains?"

He let his ears p***k up and took a few tentative steps towards both beds, coming to stand at the ends and in between both of them. "You're hurt...both of you...and you're concerned with Aurahkah being angry over bloodstains..." Eclipse shook his head and gave a snort to the air. Silence reigned for a moment before the click of claws was heard as he pawed the floor once. "Do I even want to attempt asking what happened...or will it be easier for you to not tell?"

((sorry i dissappeared a friend showed upunannounced))
Pheaura downed some milk and grabbed some fruit to eat. She hoped that the evil didn't follow her this time. SHe was tired of it, maybe her hcaged look would confuse the beast for a while.

Bastet dreamed of the various things that had happened, recently and since she had come there. Interrupting her dreams was quiet talking. As her eyes fluttered open, she saw one of the Saradin's awake and Eclipse in the room. Insantly recognition hit her and she stood and walked over to Saradin, "How are you? You look as though you should rest some more."

"Of course I'm more worried about the blood. We werent supposed to get that out of control." He winced after he tried a short laugh. By now, they could easily recover themselves but as usual, natural healing was the preferred course, and a few days rest was exactly what was needed. "You can ask, but I dont know if you'll like the answer. I hope we havent worried anyone."

"Well you've worried me...and obviously Bastet." He licked his muzzle and padded to the bed of the Saradin he assumed to be the copy, the one still lying unconscious. He sniffed him and glanced him over. Satisfied he went to the other, the one that Bastet was checking upon, whichever one he may be. Eclipse wasn't sure. He scanned that one as well. "I won't ask...I'll spare you the tale." He then looked to Bastet. "Are they better off than they were?"

She leaned against the wall and sighed, "Well considering the fact that they both passed out and could not move at all earlier, I would say yea, they are better." She nodded and looked back over to the book. This was interesting, indeed. She turned her neck popping the kinks out of it again.

((Good god, I've forgotten just how much this guy talks!))
"I was out to kill you..." He said, breaking his gaze with his eyelids. "I cant stand myself right now. And I think I've figured out how to oayback what I owe." Tumbling back onto the cot he dreamt while awake, swimming in how he would give of himself and finally get out of his predicament, even if it was only self condemnation.

Eclipse dropped one ear. That really hadn't made too much sense to him. But he knew loss of blood made one odd. He sat back on his haunces, letting his wings relax from their tightened hold against his body some. The wolf tilted his head and gave another whimper, voicing his concern, for both Saradins even, without the use of words.

With a confused look on her face, she tilted her head to watch the Saradins. "Or maybe they have not gotten better...." She stood there simply watching Saradin and listening intently. "Just how would you payback what you owe?"

Eclipse made a sound that was a cross between a whimper, groan, and growl. He hated when things like this happened, happened to his friends, his family. He gave a snort and allowed his ears to rise and himself to stand. With an almost agitated swish of his tail he turned and padded to just outside the infirmary doorway. Then he sat there in the doorway, facing out into the hall. Guardian. Not only to Aurahkah, but to his family as well. Saradin, both of him, needed to heal. And seeing as the others wouldn't take to well to a copy Saradin, he would stand guard. He stared out into the great hall, watching nothing and stayed silent.
((Eh...not making it any farther.))
