(Okay.....here me goes...)
Shinga stood on the front stepp, staring at the door, hand half poised to knock. ...Ohhh...if this isn't the right place, I'll scream. I swear I will. she thought, as she knocked firmly on the door, not sure whether she really should, or just walk in. deciding that was easy. T'was better to knock and feel foolish, then not, and be dead.

Eclipse's ear perked, caught between the two sounds. One of knocking, one of falling. Deciding to check on the later, since the front doors were never locked anyway he followed his ears to the library where he found Bastet with a book. "You alright Kitty?" He then looked behind himself. "Someone is here..."

Bastet, now flopped on the floor child-like and staring at the open book, turned at the sound of Eclipses voice. She laid back and stared at him upside down, with her paws in the air and her ears up, from her angle anyway. "I am fine clip. There are a lot of people here, but I suppose you mean the knocking." She sighed and slammed the book shut and set it on the table. Then she stood, grabbing Eclipses fur lightly and walked him out of the library to the front door as she opened it. "Hello?"

"You've agreed to the restrictions I've placed on this fight?"
"Yes Saradin... " The identical man without a name of his own paced in circles, clearly irate as he read the soothing words inside the old diary.
The time passed quickly and Saradin tossed over an unadorned steel sword towards his rival, placing Soulforge on the floor in the corner and taking another plain sword out for himself to use. "Must we go through with this?"
"I've yet to see a reason to stop."
"Still dont see it?"
"All I see is what is always being forced into me. Lies upon lies."
Nothing to do but wait, Saradin tested the weight of his sword and watched his duplicate slip farther and farther away from reality, twitching and breathing heavily as he paniced because of the attempts to calm him inside the book.

"Hello?" her hand poised to knock again, Singha froze. "Eh....'Ello....Meh name's Shinga.....I'm lookin' fer Lazarus....'e 'ere?" she asked, in a heavy slur, hand dropping to her waist. Ice blue eyes watched the woman quietly, as her left hand pushed dark brown hair out of her face, though it rebelliously fell back in to her line of vision imeadiately. "'is is the righ' house, i'n it?"

Her ears perked up at the name and her cat tail flicked behind her as she thought. "I know no one by that name, but people come and go here all of the time that I do not know about. I am Bastet." She looked to Eclipse, "Do you know someone by that name?"

Eclipse let his ears fall for a moment in thought. "No...I'm not familiar with the name...or the scent I guess." He let his ears relax back up and fluffed his wings "But hey, I've been distracted lately, I've been missing things."

Lady Bastet Her ears perked up at the name and her cat tail flicked behind her as she thought. "I know no one by that name, but people come and go here all of the time that I do not know about. I am Bastet." She looked to Eclipse, "Do you know someone by that name?" ((MERF! messed up the name....spossed to be elias, but i was a nerd and used the wrong one. meh fix in RP mode too.)) "He...used to go by Elias..." she said, hoping that would help. "I prol'y got the wrong place...Thank you for your time though."

She nodded and stepped aside, "Ah, Now Elias I know, however I do not know where he is at the moment. You are welcome to come in and wait however. Make yourself comfortable."
She ran her claws down Eclipses back and under his wings, trying to melt him again. Then she poked him. "You are strong, I should have made you carry that book for me."

"So Elias had an alias does he?" The wolf chuckled and shook out his fur. His ears suddenly perked and his wings went slightly slack. "That feels good." He let himself enjoy the pets for a moment before forcing himself to regain some composure. "I'm not your pack mule, Kitty. Though...you maybe could persuade me..."

"Enough!" The journal bounced off of a floor stone and landed in the corner with the Soulforge.
"Then you havent learned a thing?"
"It told me that it was doing more harm than good right now, and cant say anymore."
Saradin hefted his sword in both hands and faced his aggressor. "Then I have no choice."
"Neither of us will leave here alive."

Bastet chuckled, "If that was not an obvious pun, then I do not know what is. You could be my pack doggy, clip." She smiled at his reaction, then decided to be nice. And she continued scratching under his wings and in between them. "Bleh, Aura did not brush you very well."

"Why not...I'm already Aurahkah's pack dog..." He snorted and splayed his wings some to offer her better access to his wings. "And she's been distracted lately...she's been slacking on a lot of things. Pity my fur has to suffer for it."

Though...you maybe could persuade me..." she smiled slightly, and stepped through the door, keeping a fair distance from the...dog. instantly she was on guard, as she was with any building, no matter what it was, nor its occupants.

She combed out some of the knots and tufts herself and played with his wings some. Then she sighed and pat him on the head, "You could always roll around on a brush, or roll on her until she awakes."
Raising an eyebrow she watched the woman with questioning, curious eyes. And she raised one hand to scratch behind her raised kitten ear. "You have nothing to be on guard from, unless there is a demon attack, but you can usually here those coming from a distance."
