Howdy, I'm Kris. I live in New York (Upstate, not the city) and I pretty much fall into the "Music is my life" category. I'm a nursing assistant at a hospital by night, and I spend my days playing my guitar and writing my own tunes. I'm in between bands right now, but I'm hoping to change that. I love almost everything in the rock genre, ranging from Killswitch Engage to Fleetwood Mac and everything in between!

‘Sup everyone, my name’s Bret. I’ve been playing drums for about 10 years now (I’m 18 at the moment), although I’ve only taken a serious interest into listening to music for the past two or three years. I like to think I enjoy a wide variety of music, including ...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead, Arcade Fire, At the Drive-In, The Avalanches, Bright Eyes, The Clash, The Cure, Bob Dylan, Gorillaz, The Go! Team, Jimi Hendrix, Interpol, Madvillian, Modest Mouse, Neutral Milk Hotel, Red House Painters, The Shins, Sonic Youth, Wolf Parade, etc. For the past few months I’ve been in a pretty heavy Radiohead funk, so I unequivocally love you if you listen to them. Other than that, I love hearing suggestions on what to check out, or even just some insightful remarks about something you’ve heard. Keep in mind that I work at my local record store, so I’ve prolly at least heard of every off-the-wall band you can throw at me. Peace.

Hi *waves* I'm Claire. I play the piano and the saxophone and I use music to control my moods and such. I like so many different kinds of music and if I don't have music I'm like a zombie. It's not a pretty sight 3nodding

Hey hey, Kikil here, and at your service. I'm pretty new to this place, so I'd love to meet people with similar interests and make some friends. I listen to all kinds of music all over the spectrum, and I'm always open to new things. It's just good this is over the internet, so you don't have to watch me dance to it... I'm going on eight years of piano, and I'm trying to teach myself guitar, mandolin, base and sax. Some of my favorite bands (at the moment) are: Bob Dylan, Modest Mouse, Pink Floyd, The Bees, Animal Collective, David Bowie, The Marked Men, The Buzzcocks, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, The Shins, The Beatles (of course), Pelican, GY!BE, A Silver Mt. Zion, The Electric Prunes, good ol' Jimi, Jeffery Lewis, Streetlight Manifesto, and T-Lo and the Pharmaskittles

I'm seventeen, and I live in Venezuela.
I love all kinds of music (with very very few exceptions), but Japanese Rock bands dominate my soul (No, I'm not an anime freak).
I also have a growing obsession with 80s metal bands. 3nodding
I'm learning how to play the guitar, but I'm not too good at the moment. sweatdrop I started not too long ago.
I'd like to learn how to play many more instruments though.

I live in the Philippines & I LOVE almost all music genres.

I'm Jenna, a senior in high school who plays the flute/piccolo in band.
I love music, it's practically my life.
My friends mean the world to me and so does my family, including my dog and my cat.
Last, but not least, I love animals, I have blue eyes and unnatural black hair.

My name is Yummy Ukulele and you can just take a wild guess as to what main instrument I play. If you're interested in my music taste, I could share a list with you of some of my favorite bands, BUT I personally think that bands aren't a good way to judge someone's music taste. One band can have several different styles and different ways of being interpreted. To someone who is not as knowledgeable of that particular band's music might not fully understand what the other person likes. So, here's a little description of what I'm attracted to, music wise. My music taste "Freak(y) folk", alternative, folk, folk rock, good punk music, rock, classic rock, hippie music, some 60s pop, 20s-40s jazz, the kind of music you hear in the soundtracks of independent films, violin, musicals, Flight of the Conchords, pretty much any band featured on La Blogotheque's Les Concerts a Emporter / Take Away Shows by Vincent Moon and Chryde, and one man bands. If you think that you share music tastes with me, then by all means talk to me. wink
