Ryshel's hand went to her lightsaber out of instinct, but she dropped her hand back to her side after the initial shock. The man was quite handsome, but he had a dark air about him that made her uneasy. Then it dawned on her. He's a vampire! she thought panickingly. But she remained outwardly calm and paid attention to what he had to say.

"And how can we help you?" she answered his question.

Lee nodded in Ryshel's direction, pleased in knowing someone other than himself really wanted to to know the facts. He murmured under his breath a moment, a small curse, and almost a spell. In front of him, a deep black light appeared, and then, a glowing orb. Once it had finished materialzing, he picked it up and held it in his hands.

A moment passed and it was translucent. Slowly, it changed to a more, sincere look, with somethign showing inside of it. OIt was a machine, something that had a spindle, uncontrollably spinning at the top. It was merely a moving picture though, not the real thing.

"One of my more, ignoratn, followers found this in a tower near the bay of the city. IT has a magic likenothing I have ever felt before..." His words trailed a moment. "Whatever it is, it is out of control, and the person controlling it doesn't know what is happening. I propse this has something to do with our predicament."

Lee stared at ryshel. "DO you believe me I had a reason for my urgent message now?" He sat back and closed the magic ball sbetween his hands, and slowly stared back at Kadea. He breathed out hard, and then turned his head back to the girl. "I believe whoever decided to activate the time machine was missing a certain peice, the thing is, my clan memebrs were unable to figrue what the peice was. I f we can find it, then we can send ourselves home. Of course, this means getting to the device as well."

"Don't worry about us, Kadea." Ryshel smiled at her friend. "We Jedi will deal with our own problems. The important thing is to reverse whatever damage they have done by yanking so many of us from our time periods, and to get you all back home safely. One thing I did discern from the minds of the Emperor and his apprentice is that those of us who are here were not picked at random. They have plans for all of us, and we need to figure out what they are in order to foil them. I also understand now what David was saying about the puzzle missing a piece; they don't have it." She smiled smugly.

"We should start by collecting information. Someone on this planet is bound to know where and what the missing piece is."

Switch glanecd at Cat when she abruptly severed their link. Watching her carefully for a momebt longer she went back to her dive on Lee, the incrediable thing was she could find very littl on him or his gang. Curious she conducted a serch on Kadea, an dfemale samuri. Where once she had been able to find sevrel pages on Kadea alone, now she could find nothing, no birth certificate, no date of death, no significant acts in history, nothing at all, to even make a operson suspect that there had ever been a Kadea Ishikawa. Alert now, she internet dove again, for info on Ryshel, and the Jedi Order, once again not a single page existed, not even a word to mention Ryshel or teh jedi order. It was if they had never exsisted. Abother serch brought the most stunning results ever, apparently neither, she nor her unit had ever existede, there was no recird of there heroics in tehpast wars, nothing not even a scrap. "Ryshel," she spoke quietly but there wsa atone or urgency in her voice that couold not, and would not be denied.

Kadea looked over when Switch called, her eyes narrowed when she saw her computer enhanced eyes moving a mile a minute liek she was looking for something. And was that a trace of panic Kadea had dected or was she imagining things.

Windu shifted next to Ryshel, the faint sense panic from Switch was strong in teh force, he looked towards Ryshel wondering if Switchs high tech military grade senseors had detected something.

Windu made a moev to catch Ryshel as she toppled but the shift in the force struck him hard and he fell to his knees, winded. " The force." he choked.

"ryshel!" Kadea cried catching her before she hit the floor, ducking beneath her arm she hoisted braced her legs to supprot the extra weight. " Lee, whatever it is that you have to discuss will have to wait...What ever it is that...." she didn't finnish her sentence, she felta n odd clenching in her stomach and a shap pain in her chest, her knees suddenly lost their strength and she toppled to teh floor.

Switch's eyes widened as she watched them fall, she had just enough time to shutdown her computer systems before she too joined them on teh floor.

Cat moved from the table, her pistol drawn and cocked she walked down teh hall. Their was an unusual weight abouther legs, and she coudl feel something eating away at her inside, pain coarsed through her chest and she staggered to the door leaning on it's frame. "whats happeneing?" she croaked, unused to her own body defing her. "lee, take care of..." Then she saw it glinting in teh hands of a darkrobebd man the object that the darkside was seeking. It was plugged into teh time machine, and hois fingers were a blur over it's multilayed machanices, manipulating time. " Thats the." she felta new surge of pain in her chest, and quickly access her own computer systems shuting them down, she made a lunge for the object glinting in his hand but fell short, passed out next a litle ways from the others. It was just Lee, his henchmen and teh darkrobed man now.

Before teh darkness closed around her,Kadea saw Lee join them on teh floor, anly his reaction was quite diffrent, he was truning into some sort of monster.Kadea's mouth opened ina sielnet scream and teh last thing she saw before the darkness was hugh wings, and darkrobes

Ryshel only fainted and then came to a few seconds later to see everyone writhing in pain or unconscious. Master Windu was dueling with David again, trying to hold him off as the events were unfolding. An entire legion of stormtroopers were gathering everyone up and arresting them one by one with various tools to subdue them. They even had instruments for inhibiting Lee's vampiric powers. They had obviously done their homework on all of them. Ryshel tried to fight off her captors in order to watch the duel.

"Let her see the fall of her precious Jedi Master!" David yelled, and they released her. He looked straight at her for a moment, his expression unreadable. There was evil, no doubt, but a faint look of sadness as well, as if he really didn't want to do this. She tried to grasp that part of his mind and convince him to fight the Dark Side, but that just made him angry. Yelling in rage, he pushed Chris back with the Force quite hard, right into one of the transports. Ryshel flinched at the sound of his head hitting the metal, and he stumbled, falling to his knees on the ground. David walked toward him, and Master Windu rose into the air, clutching his throat. David looked straight at Ryshel, his gaze seeming to pierce her very soul. Then he looked back at Windu, his hand held up and balling into a fist. Windu's eyes got wider and wider until there was a crackle of broken bone, and he fell limply to the ground.

"NO!" Ryshel screamed through tears of grief. Then the stormtroopers grabbed her again as David walked towards her.

"Did you really think I'd let you get away that easily?" he cupped her chin in his hand, and she struggled to get out of it. "Tracking devices are easy to plant, and you led me right to your time-traveling friends. I must admit I was rather hoping you'd lead me to your friends' little hideout, but no matter. We do indeed have plans for you all, and thanks to you, we have most of our targets rounded up now."

Out of the corner of her eye, Ryshel saw Boss, who hadn't come with them, peering out from the trees. No one had seen him. As she was being dragged off, trying to be careful not to look like she was concentrating as hard as she was, Ryshel used the Force to send him a mental message.
