"You really sound like you know what you're talking about." Following his lead, she twirled before taking her place in front of him again. "So..you and Kiyoshi sound pretty close. Like brothers."

"Yeah. We've been preety close. We always watched each other's backs." Akira said as he continued to dance.

Touya led Mimi into the already crowded gymnasium before spinning her to face him. "Well, since everything has already started, may I have this dance?" he asked, flashing her a dazzling grin. Although he was not sporting Tori on his arm, Mimi was just as gorgeous and he would let it be known that his date was the best date in the gym.
A few people stopped to stare, a few called out their greetings to Touya, but the young man never took his eyes off of Mimi. The young man had no idea who is date truly was, he still had never gotten her name, but that didn't matter. As long as he showed her a good time and left a good impression, he would be content. After all, that was the key in getting people to adore you. Touya had a reputation to uphold and that was always on his mind.
'Of course, this girl's a total babe. She definitely takes as much precedent as keeping my title,' he thought and spun her again. Touya let out a rich laugh and pulled Mimi close once the spin was complete. "So Mi-chan, allow me to properly introduce myself to you," he said suddenly, his voice as smooth as velvet.
"I am Touya Kuramoto. It is an honour to be here with a Goddess such as yourself," he said, lowering his voice so just Mimi could hear what he had to say. The world did not need to hear the words he picked especially for her. They were hers and hers alone as long as she was his date. "And may I ask the name of the Goddess?"
((I figured I should finally make a post. And let everyone know I am indeed still alive! I'll try to get another post in before I leave Teusday. Going on vacation for a week. I may or may not have net access while I am gone.))

Kiyoshi walked towards a window on the side of the gym. He looked inside it and looked around for people he knew. He saw a few of his friends. He looked closer and saw Akira dancing with a girl he didn't know. "Wait to go Akira." he said with a smile.

Mimi shivered delicately as Touya pulled her close to continue dancing. Oddly, she was quite good at it, having a natural sense of rhythm and movement that allowed her freedom on any dance floor. She had watched giddily, feeling as though she were disconnected from her body, as he had pulled her out into the center of the gymnasium and led her into the first steps of the dance. It seemed impossible, the amount of people who knew and acknowledged him as he entered.
The sensation was foreign to her. Not a single person had greeted her, nor had she particularly expected them to. She had recognized a few of the girls, but she had not gone out of her way to speak to them, and thus, they had ignored her. She shivered again and pulled herself back into the here and now. Her wayward thoughts had put a damper on her evening, and she was determined that nothing would ruin this night. “Mimi Rendim.” She managed, in response to his question. His voice was as cool and cultured as the rest of him.
It seemed to her that he had tried that line on dozens of other girls, and it was just as likely that each of them had reacted in much the same way, melting into his arms like warm chocolate. She sighed at her foolishness. By tomorrow, Touya would have forgotten that she ever existed, and she would go back to being plain little Mimi. But, for tonight, she was Mi-chan, the most popular boy in school’s date. And she would enjoy herself, she was determined. Bolstering her confidence, she met his eyes with a shy smile. “Thank you for the dance, Touya.”

[-cough- I totally forgot about this RP was busy with other stuff. n.n;;]
"Like brothers almost. That's cool. Did you ever have any other siblings?" Shizue had grown up an only child, often a bit lonely. Every now and then she would visit the local orphanage and help out, but she had still always wanted a little sibling. Of course, by the time she was in junior high, it was evident that her mom wouldn't be having another child. So she settled for planting and her chinchilla. Ooh...I don't think I fed him today.. She innerly winced, then waved it off. He was pretty intelligent for his species of animal, and would surely be able to feed himself. If not, he would probably satisfy himself by nearly chewing the metal bars in half until she returned that night.

"No not really. I'm just an only child. Even if I did have any other siblings, Kiyoshi would probably be closer to me than any of them." Akira said as he heard the song end. He stopped dancing and bowed to her. "You dance pretty good." he said as he kissed the backside of her hand.

"Same here. I guess my Mom thought one child to raise was enough." Laughing a bit, she smiled a little. "It's nice that you know you have someone that's always going to look out for you." Hearing people murmur as the last note of the song die out and a new one start, she curtsied and blushed slightly. "Thanks. You're a great dancer yourself."

"Thanks. So..uhh...what do you want to do now?" Akira asked as he rubbed the back of his head slightly. He didn't know what to do, considering the fact that he never bothered to go to dances before.

Finally cleaned and dressed in a simple strapless teal dress, Tori slipped on a pair of flat soled ballet-like slippers and exited her dorm room. The evening air was cool against her face and her bare shoulders, something she greatly enjoyed. Normally her body was covered in her mass of wavy lavendr locks but her hair was pulled back in an elegant ponytail. It made her feel liberated in an odd sort of way. However, when she arrived at the gymnasium she stopped short. Standing by the window at the far side of the building was someone who, by rights, should not have even been on the school grounds. Her breath caught in her throat and her heart literally skipped a beat. ' How...?' she thought, staring with wide eyes. Forcing her feet to move, Tori rushed towards the lone figure. " Kiyoshi...!" ~*~ Touya smiled his trademark smile and dipped Mimi. He gazed down adoringly at her before lowly pulling her back up. " No, thank you for the dance, Goddess Mimi," he said softly. The song itself seemed to be ending and slowly, Touya let their dance come to a stop. The evening was still very young but Touya already knew that he would not be letting Mimi out of his sights until the dance was done with. There was no one else in the entire room who deserved to even glance at his date, or so he believed. He was, like most young men, very conceited when it came to the girls he wanted to be with. " Would you like to continue dancing? Or would you like to take a break?" Trying his best to impress Mimi, he would make himself into the most considerate and charming young man in the gymnasium. ((Yeah, my Touya post is really crappy... I'm out of practice with my Prince Charming skills sweatdrop ))

Kiyoshi turned to the origin of where the sound of his name came from. Behind him was a girl who had helped him not too long ago. "Tori...Nice to see that I didn't hold you up and that you're going to then dance, just like I asked." he said as he walked towards her. "Now don't mind me. I'll be right here outside, near the windows. Go inside and enjoy the dance." he said as he turned her around and nudged her a little towards the entrance of the gymnasium.

Tori stumbled as she was turned and nudged forwards. She still could not believe that Kiyoshi was back at the school, looking as though nothing had really happened. She didn't know how he had healed so fast; his presence completely shocked her.
But she was relieved. She had been thinking about him non-stop since he had been taken away on the stretcher. She had been hoping quietly that he would pull through and be back at school fairly quick. She had thought about how lonely her history class would be without him to bother.
Stopping, Tori didn't go into the gymnasium. Instead, she turned around to face Kiyoshi, her head bowed slightly. "I'm glad you're okay, Kiyoshi. I was really scared that you would..."
She let her comment end there, not daring to say what was on her mind. She felt that if she did utter the word then it would turn out to be true and that Kiyoshi wasn't really standing in front of her. She would not be able to bear it if her mind was just playing a cruel joke on her. Even though he had been able to touch her, she still held a faint trace of fear. After all, weren't there spirits that could touch people and objects just to make a scene?
Shivering lightly at the thought, Tori tried to clear her head and shifted her gaze upwards slightly. "Are you... not attending the dance? I had hoped that... maybe I'd get to dance with you at least once..." A faint blush coloured her cheeks and though she was gazing at him, her head was still bowed in order to hide the redness.

"What, die? Fat chance. I'm unstoppable, nothing can make me stay down for long." he said as he chuckled a little. Kiyoshi sat down and rested his back against the wall. He turned towards Tori when she asked him the question. After a few minutes had passed he stood up and walked over to her. He put his hand on her head and smiled at her. "Not this time. Maybe at the next dance or maybe later." he said as bent down a little and kissed her on the lips. "Now go." is all he said after that as he turned her around and nudged her a little bit more to the entrance.
Once he knew that Tori was just next to the entrance he backed away from the gymnasium and into the shadows of the trees. He made sure that he was completly hidden but was able to see through the window. He watched people he knew having a good time, just by themselves or with girls. He didn't know how these people did it. He could never do something like this; he just wasn't the social type. Kiyoshi turned away from window and rested against the tree.

[-pokes thread- Looks kind of dead, but I'll post for the heck of it. xD]
Shizue smiled lightly, glancing around. Shrugging slightly, she led the way out of the crowd in the middle of the dance floor. "Well, we could take a walk...Or get a drink?" she suggested, twirling a lock of her hair around her finger awkwardly.
