Chibi_Maru-chan Alex gave him a curious look, "Your parents wouldn't mind?"He looked her over giving a small grin, "They wouldn't mind, heck they would be glad that I found my soulmate. Though I have this feeling your going to be as quiet as a clam."

She glared at him, every ounce of her wanting nothing more then to prove him wrong even as a part of her whispered that he was right. "We'll see about that." She said hautily as she opened her side and pushed him to his, "Just remeber you started this."

Chibi_Maru-chan She glared at him, every ounce of her wanting nothing more then to prove him wrong even as a part of her whispered that he was right. "We'll see about that." She said hautily as she opened her side and pushed him to his, "Just remeber you started this."Sage grinned wolfishly as he took his keys and jumped into his seat, with the engine roaring to life he left the park and out the town into the countryside. "Do you need to call yours?"

Alex made a slight face, "I texted mom when we where pulling out."With a slight shift she pulled her phone out there was a pauses before she spoke again. "I'm good, but Cinderella needs to be back by midnight"

Chuckling he nodded his head as he pulled into a long beaten drive path that led to a rather nicely built log cabin house. Parking his car in the garage off to the side he led Alex to the front door ushering her in first as he called out. "Hey mom we have one more for dinner."
A warm reply drifted from the kitchen, "Alright dear"

Once inside the warm home Alex felt at ease, strangely she did not feel the usual tension when meeting strangers and being in a strangers home. It was a comferting feeling and she even felt curious about the woman that would be Sage's mom.

DarkLadyYuri We both take a drink since the tale was half true. I believe the boy's name was Genju or Genji...I can't remmeber the clan's name, it's been so long since I've last seen the clan..." She looked almost wistful as she remmebered a few lost memeories, but she shook her head and grinned. She reached over and opened one of the older bottles and took a long swig and set back on the table and blinked to clear her senses. "Damn, this stuff really does have a kick to it..." She blinked again and giggled.
'A young boy was sent into the woods with no supplies and no weapons. He was to travel until he found something and that he would know what it was when he found it. He found what he needed to survive in the woods, so he was in no danger of starving and his woodcraft was such that he could dodge the more dangerous animals. On the fifth day, he came upon a massive dragon in a glade. The dragon was sitting up, looking at the boy as he approached. Though he knew of the ferocity of all dragons, he showed no fear. In return, the dragon remained calm.
Boy, why do you come here? I was sent here, the boy replied. The dragon nodded. What were you sent for? The boy looked up at the dragon. I was sent to find you. The dragon nodded again. And do you know who I am? The dragon stood and took two steps toward the boy, who remained steadfast. Yes. You are my father. The dragon nodded a thrid time. And do you know what you must do?The boy's voice wavered only slightly as he replied, I must slay you. And do you know why? The boy sadly shook his head and the dragon leaned close. You will, one day, he said. And so, the boy slew his father and returned, carrying a gleaming sword that had formed from his father's horn and a glittering suit of armor that was once his father's skin.' So, Lady Enyart: True, or false?

Deidra remained quiet during the tale, her head bowed and her eyes averted. When he finished the tale, she frowned and looked up to glance at Tasuki. "I have have no real answer, because a few things stick out in my mind. If the dragon was the boy's father, why would he have to kill his own father unless his mother's family was a great enemy to the dragaons." Her voice cracked at the last part of her sentence and she bowed her head again. "False." She stood up and pushed away from the table, her demeanor turning cold.

CuteDarkAndDeadly Dawn'e eyes widened and she lowered her eyes. "I..I apologize. I didn't realize.." She took a deep breath and looked up at him, her anger disappearing to be replaced with shame. Bane stared at Dawn for a few moments before shaking his head. No, my lady. 'Tis merely a token from long ago... He sighed quietly and walked slowly towards Dawn.

Dawn twitched as she felt his gaze burn into her and flinched when he approached her and rested a hand on her cheek. She swallowed her shame and raised her chin up slightly to look up at him. Her eyes dropped to the scar on his neck and she winced as she imagined part of her throat torn out.
Bane's eyes flickered behind the mask as he noticed her mouth twitch with the suppressed wince and he shrugged and covered the scar back up. Do not worry about it. What has not killed me has only made me stronger and wiser. He felt a small smile creep across his lip and a feeling of compassion and something else engulf him. So this is the daughter you wanted me to protect, Kage? he silently asked his long dead friend and shook his head again and remove his hand from Dawn's cheek before turning away.
Dawn felt a blush creep across her cheeks and didn't like it. "Well, I suppose this is goodnight..." she muttered aloud and folded her arms across her chest again. "I certainly hope we c-" She was cut off as Bane turned to her again and pulled his mask over his head. Dark crimson eyes glinted amusedly down at Dawn while a few dark strands of his bangs peeked out from under the cover of the mask. Dawn's eyes widened and she stared into Bane's eyes as his low laughter echoed throughout her mind. "Why are you laughing?" she demanded, growing irritated when she could find no reason for laughter.
Bane's eyes glittered as he replied. Because, even though I cannot truly see you, I can sense your ill-disguised wonder at seeing my face and in your heart, you think I am handsome.
Dawn glared at Bane, but her anger faded as she thought over what he just said. "Wait. What do you mean 'cannot truly see me'? Are you blind?"

Sage hide a small smile as he walked into the kitchen, his parents had both told him about the soulmate bond and one of these things was sharing emotions. You knew what the other felt, but you could also sooth the other through the connection. "So whos the girl?" he mother greeted him as she stirred the pan that still sat on the stove. Sage gave a wolfish grin, "I found her." Luckely Mrs. Rannulbh knew that her son wasn't joking and turned giving him a sparkling smile. "I'm happy for you, no go bring her in before she starts to get nervous."Sage chuckled lightly and went back and gently took Alex's hand and guided her into the dinning room that was only seperated from the kitchen by an open counter space. "And this is my mom, and mom this is Alex."
