You're right. Io said, almost abruptly. We're going to find a cure for this curse. Then you'll be able to see... we'll all be able to see. I don't remember what I look like, either. It gets so bad sometimes that I forget I didn't always have this... thing.
I'm going to get justice, Fauve. We don't deserve what's happened to us. We never deserved that. But until we're free we have to be strong. For the masques that are still kids. And for... for the ones that didn't make it. She went silent, listening to the wind and sniffing the air. There was a faint, almost non-noticeable tinge of smoke floating on the breeze.
You should sleep, Fauve. Your body needs it, even if your mind doesn't think it does. Not to mention Io didn't want the other girl dealing with Silva. And if the scent meant what she thought it did, then he would be moving in soon.

Fauve didn't realize how tired she was until Io said something.. she blinked a little bit and sounded sheepish 'You're right... Io... I... I want to help... I've, well... I've caused so much trouble already....' She brushed her hand back through her own hair, pushing it back over her shoulder. 'But your right... I need some sleep...' She took a couple steps backward and paused, 'Maybe... we could talk again sometime..?'
She shrugged a little bit and Inathe didn't let out his usual squawk.. he was to intent on watching the forest.. 'Goodnight Io....' She picked up her skirts showing off her white socks as she headed back to the house she and her guardian share with the Fierra's.. Her eyes seemed to want to close all on their own... She barely made it into the living room of the house, crawling onto the couch she shut her eyes and fell oblivious to her surroundings.

Cinderfae *sighs* I know that the sisters can cause problems, but I don't think they actually mean to hurt anyone. Don't worry Galilee, you are my friend and I am not going to dump you because you don't like Fauve, but I can't let Fauve go either.*shrugs slightly* Guess that is just how I am... *then looks over at Galilee sitting on his bed* So you were talking to Zahar *grins slightly* She softening up any?*Twisting in her sleep, Cin sits straight up in bed wide awake.* Damn...guess I am not getting any rest tonight. *shivering slightly she gets up and throws on some clothes and then grabs her coat. The nightmares always left her chilled. Shaking off the cold Cin heads toward the kitchen to make some tea.* Kaliska is in the kitchen puttering and humming the Swedish Chef song..."Bork bork bork..." She looks in her bag, unpacking some of the food stuffs she'd brought from Earth...things she couldn't do with out. It was indeed a large bag, very large bag.

*Kasai grinned in the dark at Galilee* I am sure she will come around sometime, maybe we could get her to hang out with the everyone as a group sometime. I'll help you out if you want it, not sure how but I bet we could figure something out. *goes back to typing a little* There that's just about it, I think I am going to try and get some more sleep before morning. *gets down and puts the laptop back in it's case*
*Sitting in the kitchen Cin shakes the night terror out of her mind and grabs some school booklets from a bag. She then opens them up and starts looking over them. Maybe tommorrow she would see about getting Kasai started on some acdemic things and get him to help out with building the school building*

Tea with Tynan. Verran wondered what Haisyn would think of that? He was almost afraid to go back and find out. His little sister was most likely to either kick him right back out or beat the snot out of him for leaving again. Either way wasn't the most pleasant option, though he supposed he'd rather get a beating because that would mean Haisyn actually wanted him around whether she'd admit it out loud or not...
Many thoughts shifted through Verran's head as he traipsed back through the forest, and he didn't notice the odd behavior of Tavil atop his head until it was far too late. He suddenly found himself weighed down by something that shouldn't be that heavy and fell face first into the leaf litter on the forest floor.
He managed to shift his head around enough to look up at Tavil with one eye, the child grinning cheshirely at him from his new perch square between his Papa's shoulders.
"Hello Papa!"
Verran groaned. He'd just gotten himself knocked down by yet another spontaniously growing child. And this one was a cat. How had he let Haisyn get him into this?! "Hi Tavil... mind getting off?"
"I like it here!" Tavil crossed his arms and grinned ever wider while his tail flicked back and forth rapidly right under that ticklish spot on Verran's chin. Things were going to be so much more fun now!
Verran restrained himself from committing child abuse only barely. This was going to be a long trip back to camp...

Saniya turned and looked at Trivii, they had been waiting at Pam's door for almost fifteen minutes and it was getting dark... not that she was affraid of the dark... but she could feel eyes when she was outside afterdark, like ghosts of the masques yet to awaken were there, waiting and impatient... She shivered... 'Can we go home? We've been waiting and... its dark...'
Trivii looked at her watch the pulled a napkin off the tea tray, leaving a note on the door for Pam, she looked down at Sani... "Yeah sweets, its time for bed... I'll introduce you to Aricin, then tuck you in... is it okay if we wait until morning to decorate your room?"
Saniya nodded her concent, as long as they went home she didn't care what they did.
"Common then Sani." Trivii turned and slowly picked her way along the inky path, back to the house she shared with Aricin....

Kaliska set some hot cocoa down in front of Cin, humming happily. She bustled about, then put down a plate of snack cakes. She went back to putting things away.
Galilee nodded, looking to the window. Maybe...I mean...she's pretty.But I can't let relationships get in the way. Protecting this place, and our families comes first.
He shrugged and settled back into the bed, staring at the ceiling.

You can come out now... Io called, watching the woods. She waited until a long figure stepped out from behind a tree to grab her bow from off her back and notch an arrow.
"Now, that's not a way to greet an old friend." Silva drawled, smirking slightly as he lit up a cigarette. The light from the match gave him an eerily evil appearence, making her bite back a hint of fear. "You've grown up, darlin."
I am still Ice's daughter. And I haven't forgotten what you did to me. She replied, her stance firming as she aimed the arrow at his heart. Or what you did to Ashy. Why are you here, Silva?
"I like it. Think I might build a summer home here. Whaddaya say?" He took a drag off his cigarette, watching her in amusement. "I bet you'd look damn good in a bikini." A flash of uncertainty in her eyes made him smirk a little wider. "You're a beautiful girl, Io. You know that as well as I do."
I should kill you.
"Then do it." He almost laughed as she let the arrow fly, catching it easily before it hit his heart. "Where's your mother, little girl? Did she get kidnapped again?"
... I don't... That's none of your business! Stay away from my mother! Stay away from all of us!
"Or you'll do what? We've already seen how good your fighting skills work on me." He almost laughed as she went silent for a second, then jerked as his perfect night vision started to blur. "What--"
BLINDING! She shouted, sending the world into blackness for Silva. He stumbled backwards, reaching for his eyes.
"You b***h!" He didn't realize he had said it loudly enough for the camp to hear. He was too angry.

Fauve was just beginning to sleep, when she heard the explitive through the door. Her eyes opened and she sat up slowly, she looked in the direction the sound had come... she'd forgotten to shut the door on her way into the house.. She got to her feet slowly and Inathe hissed from his perch on the back of the couch. She turned and hurried down the hallway to shake her guardian from her slumber.
Merci woke to the violent shaking Fauve was putting her through... fleeting dreams still clung to the edges of her conciousness. Fauve's face came into view slowly and the worry in her eyes woke her up quickly "whats going on?"
Fauve shakes her head 'I don't know for sure.. I heard something outside... but...'
Merci got up and quickly picked up her jacket hauling it on.. moving down the hallway she entered the living room with Fauve walking behind her. She poked her head out of the doorway and looked around.. She didn't see anything at first and was about to turn around and move back into the house to reassure Fauve when Io caught her attention, and near her Silva.. "Well... bollocks... Fauve get inside.. stay there and protect Uriel..."

"what the hell did you do to me?" He demanded through gritted teeth, rubbing at his eyes. Io felt her muscles trembling as she poured her physical strength into her magic. It was hard to keep hold of him, as if gripping onto a bucking bronco. His natural power was almost as strong as hers was.
Inwardly she cursed, dodging as he punched out and realizing just how dangerous he really was. Even without sight-- Her thoughts went off course as his hand grasped her throat, pulling her off her feet by a foot.
"Give me back my sight." He muttered, his unseeing eyes cold.

Green_Eyes G_E sighed finally coming to her conclusion. She held her hands out to the children, "It's getting dark. Time for bed, Nika. We'll walk Shiva home... and pick Bizzy up on our way."
That's fair. she said to Nika, nodding again so that G_E would not misunderstand.
The sudden shout took her by surprise as she turned, eyes widening.
Did you hear that, Nika?

Nika nodded, pleased that Gee had decided to take them home. He was a bit tired afterall...
He heard the swear and spun around so that he was facing Io and Silva. A strange feeling came over him... How dare that man do that to her? He had no right...
'I heard it, alright...' he took a step towards the man who was holding Io by the throat but was jerked back by a hand. He looked up into Gee's frightened face.
"Nika, you and Shiva go find Bizzy... stay in the house and block the door." She looked down at the top of Shiva's head, "You might want to find Chae too..."
What she saw before her was enough to make her faint, but Gee mentally shook herself. Io was in danger... She had to help.
Without looking back she ran at full-speed towards Silva, hoping that dispite her small size she'd be able to tackle him to the ground.
The force was great and could have knocked any man off of his feet but Silva wasn't any man... and slamming her small frame into his side was probably the most foolish things she'd done in awhile. She didn't care, as long as it got his hands away from Io.
"Please let the others get here soon..."
Nika didn't watch Gee go. He was far too frightened to watch. Hope was the only thing he could do. The man seemed extremely dangerous... he shuddered and grabbed Shiva's hand. He squeazed the small hand and hoped it was reassuring.
'Call your gaurdian. Tell her we need her...' he nodded at Shiva, gently tugging her along behind him, calling Bizzy's name.

This is not right. she said, pulling his hand to stop. They should not be left alone like this!
There was a cold, tight feeling that worked its way in her at the thought of running like this. Running was wrong. It was...safe.
I called Chae. She's coming. We shouldn't be running away.
She did not want to leave Nika alone, but she did not want to continue to move away from the danger. *Nika, please. That's your guardian back there.*
Chae had heard the call and was out of the house like a flash, banging on the nearest door to rouse out anyone she could find. "Ice!" she said to the nearest person. "Someone find her, NOW!"

Nika stopped when Shiva wouldn't move. He looked back at her and then snuck a glance at Gee, Io and Silva. He shut his eyes tight and nodded at Shiva.
'She is my gaurdian... and Io...' he paused not entirely sure what he was was saying, 'I'm connected to her in some way... I can't leave her either.'
He watched Chae and nodded, letting go of Shiva's hand and running ahead in search of Ice.
'I'll find her!' he called behind him.

Bizzy had heard all of the commotion and curious, she'd followed the noise to find out what it was. The young woman blinked at what she saw and gasped when Nika came skidding around the corner.
Her little brother only nodded and mumbled something about finding Ice before he was gone. She shrugged and watched her mother, amazed. Gee was either very stupid... or incredibly brave.
"Probably a little of both..." Bizzy shook her head and ran towards the nearest house, copying Chae by banging on the door. She couldn't be sure, but she thought the door she was banging on belonged to the little yellow girl with the long golden hair and her gaurdian.
"We need some help out here!"

Merci didn't even wait to see if Fauve listened to her.. she ran out of the house to see Gee run full tilt into Silva.. For some reason Merci's fear was building.. she didn't want to watch the man slaughter her friends.. and she was afraid that was exactly what he was going to do..
Fauve shook her head... she reached up and felt the necklace that rested around her neck.. she'd found it in her clothes when she had finished bathing and put it on.. Io was her friend.. someone she could talk to.. She yelled 'Ashy! Help!' before she teleported herself behind Io and reached out to try and pull Io backwards and away from his grip.
Inathe flew out of the house and perched on a fence.. he was watching closely hissing his fear.. If something happened to Fauve he would intervene..
Merci had no idea how her charge just suddenly appeared behind Io.. but now she was in the line of danger. She poured on the speed, afraid that she wouldn't get there in time to do much of anything.
