He dug his nails into his hand, trying to keep himself from blushing completely red at such a statement. Only a p***y wouldn't have enough balls to ask a girl out. Pink leaked through his pain. She sounded as if she were having fun, it was almost disturbing. He closed his eyes for a moment, as they almost fuzzed out on him. When he reopened them, he was still in his own body, and everything was still the same. He hadn't moved at all and no one had been harmed. It was a wondrous feeling.

Almost. He followed Tabitha's eyes to Kayla, and dug his nails further into his hand. What was she thinking? She wasn't actually going to suggest Kayla, was she? Then again.. That may be a good thing. Just the leverage he would need. He would just chuckle, and raise a brow at Kayla, and let her come to the final decision. If she said no, he could just agree with her. There would be no embarrassments at hand. It should all flow rather smoothly. He felt kind of manipulative... But it wasn't his fault. And then she said something unexpected, just as he was releasing the pressure on his hand. The shock forced his nails back into his palm, one actually cutting skin.

"Ah.."
he gasped out of surprise.
Aaron pulled his hands away from each other, sticking the bloodied nail into his mouth. He stared at Tabitha for moment, completely unsure what to do. She seemed to have a fire in her eyes, and just earlier, she had looked rather upset. Pulling the finger from his mouth, he muttered,
"I.. I guess we could... If you are sure you want to..."
He looked over at Kayla. Why was he agreeing to this? Why couldn't he just shut her down. Ah.. He felt so horrible. But, he smiled warmly, disguising everything. He was much better at facial expression, then words.

"I've heard alot of people say they may not be going.." Kayla chiped in, shrugging her shoulders. "So I'll probably either convince one of thoes people to go with me or go by myself for a bit"

As pathetic as that is... She thought to herself bitterly.
Her dark brown eyes focused on both Aaron and Tabitha as they took turns speaking to each other. Kayla really didn't have anything else to say so she just listened. Sometimes, if you actually listened to someone's conversation, you could really get alot of things out of it.
... and sometimes it's a complete waste of time.

She drifted into her thoughts once more, until all of a sudden she heard
"... Me?"
Blinking, she looked over at Tabitha. Well, it seemed two others were getting a date for the ball right infront of her eyes.
Maybe that would "warm the water" for others, since Jeremy and Clarissa didn't really seem to have that much of an impact on 'breaking the ice' for everyone else. For a quick moment there, she thought that Aaron was going to ask her to the dance.
What if he had?
What would she have said?
And once more Kayla had drifted into her own thoughts.

"Sure, might as well. Well, then, it's set," she winked. "It's a date. Now I've got to go; it'll be beddy-bye-time in a few minutes, and I don't want to run into that crazy vampire or that creepy Filch..."
"Who's crazy?"
Tabitha practically screamed when she heard the hauntingly cheery voice behind her. She spun around in a whirl of strawberry blond, seeing nothing there. She blinked; had she let her imagination get the best of her?
"Up here."
Tabitha's eyes shot to the ceiling to see the cheerful vampire waving at her. Her eyes bulged, and she took a step or two back. "How long have you..."
"Long enough," said Blaise simply, dropping down from the ceiling to land on his hands in an odd handstand. Quickly switching to his feet, he smirked from Aaron to Tabitha to Kayla.
"Ah, young love! Young, mortal love; so tangible, so pointless..."
"You obviously have no idea what you're talking about," Tabitha said blankly, wondering if he even knew what tangible meant. "Aaron and I aren't---"
"Oh, yes, but I do understand!" exclaimed Blaise, obviously missing the point. "In fact, have I ever told you about my first love?"
"No, and I don't care to..."
"Walk with me, young child," Blaise said, leading Tabitha down the hallway and out of sight. "I was seventeen, and home for the summer. In town, there was this whore named Sophia..."

The .. so called vampire sent shivers down Aaron spine when he spotted him on the roof. He didn't seem all that bad. After all, he was in the school. Dumbledore would never let anyone in the school that was evil. Right? Right. He wasn't actually all that put off by the vampire. Just the anti-gravity thing. That was creepy. Almost as creepy as eaves-dropping. Which wasn't creepy. Just rude. How long had he really been there? If had heard and observed everything... A pale tinge of pink returned to his face.

The vampire seemed tall enough, though. And old enough... Vampires appearance froze when they got turned to ... a vampire. He never did much try much on that one essay. There was a substitute that day... No one tried that hard. He zoned back into the conversation before him. Kayla seemed gazing into the distance as well. So the only one really paying attention was Tabitha, and that's because she was being harassed by the vampire. He gave him a bit of a meek vampire, and Tabitha a look of pity as she was led down the hall.

He waved a hand infront of Kayla's eyes when the two had left hoping that would bring her back to the real world. Giving her a warm smile he tried to convince her to go to bed,
"You must be tired if the staircases are that interesting. Plus, as Tabitha warned, were are going to get in trouble. So... I'll see you tomorrow. Or whenever."
He gave a bit of a laugh, and gave her some of a wave.
"Later!"

With that he started away, going another way then Tabitha and the vampire, silently chanting over and over to not look back. After all, he had a date now. Even if it was his fault. ... He was blaming himself for having a date.
"Ah... You're so useless," he muttered to himself when well out of earshot.
He leaned against the wall, thinking about how stupid he was for a couple moment, then headed down the hall to the Hufflepuff Common Room.

Kayla blinked and laughed, noding her head.
"Yea I guess I am kind of tired" She said scratching the back of her head.
The Vampire didn't phase her. As long as he wasn't an a** or dangerous, she really couldn't care less about who was at the school. Aaron on the other hand, seemed a little un-easy. She pondered saying something about it, but decided against it.

Her dark brown eyes followed Tabitha until she turned the corner, feeling no pitty for the girl. Kayla wasn't the type to not like people, but this girl just bugged her for some reason.

Sighing she turned back to Aaron and smiled
"Yup! See ya later!"
and with that she scooped up her bag and started jogging towards the Gryffindor common room
I wonder what time it is anyways'' she thought to herself as she ran. Oh well, I could probably get out of getting a DT if a prefect catches me.

It had been a while since both Ichigo and Ria were seen around Hogwarts. Ichigo walked came from the top of the stairs and rested her elbow on the railing. She looked down and sighed. Her head rested on the center of her hands, while her elbows supported her head. The position she shifted in to was quiet relaxing.

Ria had spotted the pink haired girl from afar. She ran up to the girl and looked over the railing as it seemed like Ichigo was doing it too.
Your father was fun~ And you step-mother wasn’t too bad. She seemed to like me.” Ichigo rolled her eyes.
She always is like that when I have guest around. This is the reason I took you along. Also I didn’t want to hear about this family discussion my ‘Mother’ wanted me to hear.” She turned her body 180 degrees and leaned on the railing. Ria copied Ichigo and looked up at her and smiled

Well your home now right?
For now….” Her slight frown had slowly disappeared and all that was left on Ichigo’s face was an emotionless expression. Ichigo turned her head and stared at the railing for a moment before turning back to Ria with a grin. This made Ria a bit uneasy.
Wanna slide down the railing?” She asked the blond. Ria eyes widened as she quickly turned around to look at the staircase. The blond could feel her skirt rub against her skin as she turned to Ichigo.
Sure~ Always wanted to do it anyway!

Nate tried to use Kia as a balance. He hadn't walked in what seemed like forever. He felt like a toddler who was just learning to walk. He felt awkward and kind of queesy. He had been lying down for so long it was weird walking again. He felt like he was going to pass out. He was thankful that Kia was there with him. He felt really bad for putting her through this whole fiasco. He should have thought about what would happen to her if he died. He remembered when he couldn't talk and she was crying at his bedside. It pissed him off that he couldn't talk and say sorry to her. He was embarressed now.

Kadence walked down the hallway humming to herself, heading to the Hufflepuff common room, smiling for what reason she had no idea.
She had heard rumors going around about the tournament and a few of the girls in her classes had been marveling over the idea of the ball.
Losing a bit of her spark, Kadence blew her blonde hair out of her face.
She couldn't help but think about her own ideas about the ball. Of course, she had no one to go with and her mum would go crazy with dress ideas and every little detail. She always did.
"What's the point in looking pretty if no one will see you?" She mumbled, wondering where her friends were.

"Hey, you little pipsqueak Mudblood brat! Give us your gold or you'll spend the rest of the month as the filthy rat you are!"
Crevan hurried down the corridors, breathing heavily and coughing every now and then. His asthma was quickly starting to catch up to him, but before he could worry about that too much, a winged badger swooped down from the ceiling, colliding with the boy. He gasped, thrown to the ground, falling down the staircase about five steps. He rolled over, scrambling to get up, when the bullies appeared; five Slytherin boys, all between fifteen and sixteen years of age.
"Please... I don't have any money on me..." Crevan gasped between coughing. The boys smirked, when one took out his wand.
"Well that's really too bad, kid..."
"EXPELLIARMUS!"
His wand shot out of his hand, flying through the air into a nearby badger hole. The boy stared for a moment, then looked over at the one who had spoken the spell.
"Clarissa, what the hell was that about?!"
Crevan looked up, blinking. It had been a while since he had seen Clarissa, but she seemed to have aged quite a bit. Her bangs, which had fallen straight above her dark eyebrows when he last saw her, had grown out and were now neatly tucked behind her ears, and her long, thick black hair was gathered up into two ponytails trailing down her back. She wasn't wearing her school uniform, either; instead she sported a black sweater over a red low-cut shirt and red plaid skirt. He had only to glance up at her and the changes to realise that she had just returned from vacation.
"Really, Scott. Picking on first-years? That's an all-time low," Clarissa sighed. "If only I were a prefect, I'd be able to set you straight..."
"Would you just get out of my way?! Why the hell do you give a damn about some Mudblooded p***k anyway?"
"I have my reasons," Clarissa said mildly. "Now get out before I summon a teacher."
The group collectively glared at the girl, then took off in the opposite direction, Scott lingering behind a few moments to snatch his wand out of the badger hole and get a rather deep bite in the meantime. Crevan struggled to get up, when Clarissa knelt down and helped him to so.
"Thanks," Crevan said softly.
"Don't worry about it, kid. Those guys are assholes, anyway. Scott especially..." her eyes narrowed for a moment, then looked back at Crevan. "Plus I couldn't let my favourite first-year have the stuffing knocked out of him!"
"Favourite... first year?"
"Yeah! Now come on; I need someone to go with me to the briefing for the Tourney. Mind tagging along? I just got back from Puerto Villarta, Mexico, and already I've got places to go and people to see!"
Crevan looked at her for a moment, then nodded enthusiastically. "Yeah, sure! I'll go with you!" He grinned. "After all, friends hang out together, right?
"Right!" Clarissa nodded, and the two started for the dungeon, Crevan almost skipping.
My first friend... I've made my first friend!

Celeste sat quietly in the middle of the floor in the middle of the hall in the middle of the evening. Normally, such would not be the best idea, much more a hazard then a help, but other students really didn't seem to mind that much. Most people whizzed around her without a care, well a couple stumbled over her small, and a couple turned to stare as they walked by, but that didn't matter. She sat Indian-style, with a large book between her her legs. Random words bounced off the page as she tapped them with her wand. It was easier to understand them that was. After all, that's how she learned to read in the first place. Giant words always sped learning up a notch or so. Most likely none of the people walking by would understand what was written so it didn't matter if they happened to catch sight of a sparkling blue word. The book was written in German.

Repeating a couple words, she motioned a couple words closer to each other. She tapped her wand against her leg for a second, observing her work. It made no sense to her. Which was well enough. Usually thing worked better when she didn't completely understand what was going on. Thus why she was such an amazing prankster. She muttered the 'word' under her breath a couple time before dipping her head back into the book. Another second later, and she raised back up, pointing her wand a vase. She held her wand purposefully, and glared at the vase with such intent. Suddenly, a swish of her wand, a complete circle and then a flick up, and she uttered the magic words. The vase combusted in on it's self on to reform as something else. It seemed to be working, whatever it was; if she translated correctly it would make it mechanical. But then, a blue smoke fizzed from the opening, and a light shot out.

Celeste ducked as the light shot over her head. It reflected off a couple of posters until it slammed face first into the face of a rather prestigious looking Gryffindor gossiping with a couple friends. Her face shifted into a giant cog. If Celeste had been drinking then, she was sure it would have spurted from her nose. She was laughing so wildly, she didn't even notice a pair of boys stepping up to her.
"Did you do this, Slth-her-in."
They said the name of her house as if it were a bad thing. Wiping the tears from her eyes she answered,
"Oh, just maybe."
Cog-face screeched wildly, but whatever she wanted to say could not be heard, and she began leaking oil. The boys looked between Celeste and Cog-face then back to Celeste, who shifted nervously. Suddenly, Celeste snatched at the book, and threw it over her head like old men who throw news papers of their head to fend of the rain storm. And boy, was she in for a rain storm.

Celeste still heard the people tearing after her as she turned her fifth corner, and now she was getting lost in the school. Luckily, she was still a quicker runner, thank that to years of running away from her punishments. She leaped down two flights of stairs, and landed rather shakily. After stumbling for a couple steps, she snuck into an alcove. The boy from before ran by, thinking she was still far ahead. Celeste giggled gleefully into her book, and crawled from the alcove. She had gotten away way to easily. Even her idiot brothers knew better then those fools. Then again, her brothers were all Gryffindor, so she couldn't expect much from them at all. After a moment of quick double checking to see if they were still close, she started on a hike down the stairs, with the giant book under her arm. Hopefully, she could get down the the Slytherin common room without them popping up again, or another odd road block. With hair that stuck out like a light in a dark cave, she somehow doubted it.

Adara sneaked out into the corridors hoisting her brown bookbag over her shoulder. She was headed for the library, to do some catching up on her potions. She pulled her hair back into a messy up-do with a single clip and started whistling without even realizing it.
While walking along Adara walked over a piece of parchment. She backed up a few steps and picked it up, without looking at what it was, or whose it was and thinking that it was hers; she stuffed it into her bookbag and continued walking at a steady pace, determined to do her work, and NOT get distracted, by boys.

Kayla blinked and awkwardly proceeded into the great hall, giving Rene a puzzled look before turning back to the inside of Hogwarts. She pulled on her scarf, loosening it from her neck. The snow was slowly, slowly melting, but it was still quite chilly out. A sudden shiver ran down her back, and she quickly shook it off.

Before she could say anything else, her view was obscured by a blur of green hair flashing by her.
“Oh no..” she groaned after realizing who the blur was. What arrogance or stubborn attitude did she await to hold against Kayla today. Quickening her steps, Kayla directed herself straight towards the common room, hoping her sister hadn’t seen her. Her dark brown eyes focused on the staircase ahead of her, and her mind tried to block out the potential sound of her sisters voice either embarrassing her or bugging her about something.

Celeste froze about half-way past the man door. She turned about quickly, and upon seeing who it was, her face dramatically changed, from a cheerful sly grin to a look of utter disgust. Of course before she could hiss any sort of responce at her sister, out of the corner of her eye she spotted the two boys being directed Cog face. In a spur of quick desicion, she raced behind the guy with Kayla. Celeste grabbed on to his sleeve, glancing between the two older kids. She ducked back behind him as one of them looked this way. Why couldn't they just go to the nurse and get it fixed.

"Hey," she murmured up at them, "Don't say anything."
Celeste wished that they would listen to her. She released the male's arm an grinned up at him. For one who was picked out by her sister, he almost looked acceptable. White hair, interesting. Unfortunatly, he was most likely a Gryffindor. Which made him a loser. She raised a finger to her mouth, and made a "shh"ing noise.
"Make sure they don't see me, and you win."
See? It was a game. Please, please, please play. One of those guys looked like they would throw her in a lake. And there was no telling what cog-face would do.

Looking rather nonplussed as the new girl swept past Kayla in a veritable cloud of rank teenage hormones and fear, Rene's eye twitched as the newcomer drove her body directly into the aching bulge of his robes. Baring his fangs with a lurid snarl, the wintery-maned youth's mask fell away from his burning eyes at the impact even as he hoisted Kayla's sister from the floor by the collars and scarf of her throat.

"I would advise, that you never to step on my tail again," He whispered with a deadly hiss of frosty vapour riding his breath, licking every syllable with a softly-punctuated flick of his wrist, hardly bothered by the offset of the girl's weight in his palm. Cocking his head with an even smile, Rene lifted a meaningful eyebrow as his feral eyes bored into his captive's gaze as though daring her to scream.

Kayla turned and blinked, not sure what just happened.
"Um..." she said, torn between her new friend and her sister.
"Rene" She said, stepping over to her sister and helping her up. "This is my sister Celeste, and I'd appreciate it if you would not touch her" She finished, glancing down at Celeste. For once in her life, she didn't do anything wrong.

"Or make your warnings less.. violent" she added, looking back up at him. She sighed and almost laughed out loud. She could only recall one other clear time that she had been directly on Celeste's side, and that was when her idoit brother called her a squib and made her run away, causing her to be kidnapped.

Rene's forwardness made her stomache turn uneasily. She could see bits and pieces of what Daniel had, or may have become. were all werewolves short tempered and very forward with things? she shivered at the thought and quickly forced it out of her mind. Turning to celeste, she blinked awkardly and then asked "Are you alright?"
