So I did my first meditation today. I contacted my Gods as well as the Dragons. I asked for protection and guidance with my driving. Well I have only been on the road for 3 weeks and I have already been in several hit and runs...I did the hitting and running: sweatdrop :
I got the distinct impression that I would be given what I asked for. Well today when my fiance got home he was told about my hit and runs by his mother. He took my keys away for a bit for my protection.
Most of the incidents were due to driver inexperience along with the s**t ton amount of snow we have received this winter. They all took place in parking lots. So for the moment I am not driving. I have a feeling I am going to have less time on the road.

Not hitting things is generally a good idea wink The times I have were due to extended periods of no sleep (like 30hrs+ due to having crap to do before and after work) Luckily, it's only been twice with pretty much minor damage.

You mentioned a ritual guardian. What does that mean?

The point was that Soldange gave me what I asked for, just not how I anticipated or wanted.

If you've already discussed this then I apologize, but 40 pages is a lot to look through.
Do these dragons ever appear to you in a physical manner or is all of this done astrally (or whatever other term you prefer for that)? I only ask because I'm curious if I can glean some evocation insights from any of the experiences here.
What is it like when you contact dragons? Is it done through ritual or spirit journeying or both? Something else?

I guess as to how the dragons appear depends on who the person is. For me personally they apprear for the most part as translucent colourful forms on in my periferal vision, however in meditations, trance and dream states they appear fully formed and solid. Though there are times when the dragons I work with choose to remain hidden from veiw but I can still feel their presence. For the most part most of my work with dragons is done in ritual or trance though I do talk out aloud to dragons in day to day life if I can feel their presence. It's hard to find a way to really explain it properly. Dragons have been part of my life in one aspect or another for as long as I can remember.

For me my dragon companions first appeared when I did some deep trancework. I asked if there were dragons that wanted to meet and work with me and I was led on the back of a white dragon through the realm of the dragons and their elemental leaders.
A few months later I went to an asian drum circle. One of the last items they played was a song called the Dragon dance. As I listened I saw and felt several dragons appear and start leaping with joy. As we left the concert I felt a few of the dragons following me home.
Occasionally I'll be looking at the moon and I'll see a dragon swoop down look at me and when I look back they are gone again.
I typically feel their presence. They are sometimes seen only in my mind and sometimes in the corner of my eye. I more feel their presence than anything else.

Do you think scrying would allow you to see them more clearly, similar to an astral evocation of an entity?

I've had an array of experiences from deep trance work, dream-states, astral journeying, feeling them around me (like laying near when having issues sleeping), to seeing them solid in front of me (which is often the case with my guardian). It really depends on the situation at the time. During ritual I can often see one appear through the smoke of the offering or feel a presence around the outside of the ritual space.
I keep relationship with them through talking with them and giving honour to them through rituals (deification) and sometimes just an offering during spellwork.
I'd say from being able to see them clearer through an offering, scrying may be able to see them. I haven't worked with scrying so I'm unsure of it's intricate workings.

My understanding and experience is that it's basically just a way to open up your astral senses. This is why scrying is important when doing astral evocations: It lets you know that the entity is there and it allows you to communicate with it.

Loona Wynd Obscurus Do you think scrying would allow you to see them more clearly, similar to an astral evocation of an entity? What is an astral evocation? It's the evocation of an entity to the nearby astral plane as opposed to evoking the entity to the physical plane. Astral evocations are apparently easier than physical evocations for a few reasons.
