Emiri stood up in front of her new pokemon, but old friends.
"I am so proud of you two. It was only yesterday that we started our travels, and you two have worked really hard since then. I know now that nothing can stop us. We are going to be an amazing team, and go all the way to the pokemon league," Emiri said. Charmeleon and Ivysaur both smiled at this, looking at each other as they did.
Emiri went back to her bag, and took out stone edge that she had been trying to teach Dialga since last night, and the solar beam TM she knew she would need eventually.

Emiri went over to Ivysaur and held out the solar beam TM.
"Bulba...I mean, Ivysaur, do you want to learn solar beam," she asked.
He looked up at her happily, and nodded as his entire boddy wiggled in trying to wag the tail that wasn't there.
Emiri used the Solar Beam TM on Ivysaur, and couldn't wait to see it.
Next she walked over to Dialga who had been laying contently by the pond as all of this was going on.
"Here Dialga. Here's Stone Edge," Emiri said. Dialga nodded as Emiri used the TM on Dialga.

Putting everything away in her bag, Emiri looked over her pokemon with adoring eyes.
She couldn't believe the already amazing team she had, only starting yesterday. They had grown so much already, she knew the time had come. Her gaze landed on Ivysaur who was bounding about chasing Ninetails and Rhyhorn.
"Ivysaur," Emiri called happily. He skidded to a clumsy halt at the sound of his name, turning to face Emiri happily.
"Ivysaur, use solar beam on that rock there. Would you do that for me," Emiri asked kindly. She really wanted to see it.
Ivysaur nodded as he looked at Emiri, then took a sharp look towards the rock.

Light began to float towards the bulb on Ivysaur's back as it began to glow. It absorbed more and more light as it revolved around the bulb most magnificently. The bulb glowed more and more until it was fully charged from the light of the sun.
With one swift movement, the light was released in a spiraling beam towards the sky, then it came crashing down on the rock in front of Ivysaur, splendedly showering light all around.
With a content expression on his face, Ivysaur turned back to face Emiri as he trotted over to her.

"Oh Ivysaur! That was spectacular," Emiri praised as he came towards her, sitting in front of her. She bent down to him, nuzzling her forehead to his, a big smile across his face.
Looking over her whole team, Emiri spoke with confidence and praise.
"I am so proud of all of you. We only started traveling together yesterday, but I feel as if somehow we've been traveling our whole lives. We've grown so much as a team, I think we're ready to take on our first gym badge. What do you guys think," Emiri asked, looking over her amazing pokemon.
They all cheered and agreed, jumping up and smiling.
"Let's find Aku. And together, we'll go to Pewter city, and win our first gym badge," Emiri exclaimed.

Taking out Dialga's pokeball, Emiri's pokemon conversed amungst themselves excitedly about winning their first gym badge.
"I'm sorry Dialga, but I can't walk into Pewter city with you following me," Emiri said regretfully. He smiled down at her with a reassuring growl as he returned to his pokeball.
"Alright everyone, let's go find Aku," Emiri said, leading the way out of the clearing towards the path.
Charmeleon, Ivysaur, Scyther, Rhyhorn, and Ninetails all followed behind as Emiri basked in what she thought to be the most amazing team of pokemon she could have ever wished to ask for.

"Let's find Emiri guys, I think it's time to head on." He told his team, knowing that even though they were lower levelled, they'd be a formidable match. "Besides, I think the only way you'll get stronger is by battling something more powerful than you guys are." He said with a laugh. Feeling a bit more eccentric than she was used to, Emiri looked around ambitiously trying to catch sight of Aku, or any of his pokemon for that matter.
With her pokemon following her, she knew they'd come across something that would lead them to him. Following her footprints that were still there, Emiri lead the way through the trees one last time, making their way to the main path.

Rather odd. Chews on things that should break her teeth. Tackle- 20 Tail Whip- 5 Ritz gave chase to Buju for a bit longer until her legs became too tired to run anymore. "Buju, come on! I'm tired!" the young preteen whined to her Pokemon. Buju finally conceded and returned to his trainer's side, flitting around her head for a moment or two before the girl caught him playfully. "Ah-ha! I gotcha!" she cried out in triumph. In truth, she was tired but she knew Buju. The game wasn't over unless she caught him. Her PokeGear alarm went off as she released the Pokemon and she flipped it open. "Hello?" she asked as the com-screen lit up. "Darling, it's mom. Your father and I just saw a news report that says there's big trouble in Pewter city. If you're in that area, promise me you'll be careful and get out as soon as possible." "Oh, hey mom!" Ritz greeted, catching her mother's worries immediately after. "I'm....uhm...I'm in the...uh....Viridian Forest right now. So I'm close. But I'll be careful if I get to the city before the trouble's over." "Swearsies?" "Swearsies." "Goodbye, darling. And do be careful out there." Ritz closed up her gear and looked northward, in the direction of the Rock City. "Looks like Dad's hero blood might come in handy now." she voiced to Buju, who nodded and decided he would help his master in any way he could.

Having made her way through the trees, Emiri found the main path that would lead to Pewter City, if she could only find Aku. Charmeleon, Ivysaur, Scyther, Rhyhorn, and Ninetails followed behind, all trying to catch sight of him, wherever he could be.
Looking down both ways of the main path, Emiri saw someting coming towards them. Thinking, and hoping it was Aku, Emiri began to walk in that direction, her pokemon following.
She stopped though as she saw purple wings fluttering about, it wasn't Aku, but it was a trainer.

Neither of them had any worries about the dangers that might wait in the city proper. They only had the warnings of the girl's mother to Determine what might be "dangerous" anyway. She looked up ahead of her, focusing on the something in the distance. It seemed to be getting closer rather quickly. She didn't realize it yet but she had begun to run, the excitement of meeting another person so soon after her journey had begun driving her onward. Her footfalls slowed nearly to a stop when the 'something' became somethings. An entire group. Now feeling hesitant, she looked to Buju. "Uhm......." The Venemoth didn't even think for one second about possible dangers, jetting ahead to flutter about the new trainer's head in greeting. "Veeeneeee!"

Realizing that the trainer was infact far from Aku, Emiri had begun to slow, not wanting to be a bother. Though as she watched the trainer in the distance, it seemed as if they were running towards Emiri, and hopefully not from something.
Still a distance away, the trainer stopped, but their pokemon Venemoth hadn't.
The trainer stood away as the Venemoth fluttered forward hastily, happily wandering about Emiri and her pokemon.
Charmeleon, Ivysaur, Scyther, Rhyhorn, and Ninetails all watched the Venemoth happily, as Emiri continued to walk towards the trainer now, with Venemoth following.

Don't bother people!" she called after the Pokemon. By that time it was too late. Thankfully the new trainer didn't seem to be too bothered by her Pokemon's escapades. The young girl ran forward and jumped up after Buju, grabbing the Venemoth out of the air before she stopped and looked at the trainer he'd been bugging. No pun intended. "Hi?" she offered, more of a question than an actual greeting just now.

Emiri had always been fond of bug type pokemon. They had their own persona about them, and were one of her favorite types to study on the ranch. Walking with the Venemoth, Emiri realized the Venemoth's trainer was running towards her. Venemoth fluttered away from Emiri a little as the trainer caught him, and scolded him a little for flying away. The trainer looked to Emiri and offered a greeting.
"Hello," Emiri said in reply to the trainer before her.
"I'm Emiri."

The girl greeted as she set Buju on her head. "I'm Ritz. And this little pest is Buju." she grinned as the Pokemon blew a weak Silver Wind around Ritz and Emiri. His way of saying they must be friends now. She wasn't really sure what else to say just yet.
