When Sparrow got home his greeting was a warm one. He walked through the door and got hugged so hard he could hardly breathe. He showed the flowers to be released and caught his breath. He smiled at her and said, "It's good to be home. But we won't be here for long."
She tilted her head and raised a brow. "Where are you going?"
"I'm leaving to go on an adventure. But there's something I want to ask you." Sparrow said to her and looked at her, grabbing her hand. "Will you come with me?"
She smiled and nodded. "I'll happily go anywhere with you Sparrow."
He walked into his room then and opened his closet and picked up two back packs. "Alright, we leave now."

Liz and Sparrow made it to the limits of the town and then looked one more time. "I don't know how long it will be before we're back here." Sparrow said at last.
"I don't care as long as I'm here with you I'm fine." Liz replied and then started marching on.
"Hey! Where are you going!?" Sparrow called to her.
"To Violet city! That's where we're headed isn't it?" She asked without stopping.
"Yeah but you don't have any pokemon to protect you!" Sparrow shouted back at her.
"Well, looks like you better hurry up then doesn't it?" She said and started running.

When Sparrow finally caught up to her they made camp for the night deciding that it was a good idea. They made a fire and was sitting around it talking between themselves and watched the stars. "So Sparrow, what're you thinking of?" Liz finally asked him.
"Oh you know, the usual. Why, whats on your mind?" Sparrow asked turning his head to her.
She blushed real quick and turned away. "Nothing, I'm just going to go to bed now." She said getting up to go to the tent.

Sparrow grabbed a pokeball and looked into the tent to see a little Rattata munching on a bag of chips that sparrow had packed. "Hey, those are ours!" He said and reached for the pokemon, but it was too quick and darted out of the tent and right into a tree. "Looks like you're trapped now."

Once the Rattata was defeated Liz went back to the tent and laid down. Sparrow got up and cleaned up everything and then called Murkrow out. "Blow the fire out please," he said and saw Murkrow blow the fire out with a couple flaps. Sparrow nodded and called it back. "Alright time for me to go to bed, and in the morning we march to Violet City."

Rizen nodded, though he cringed inwardly. Ice Beam. He'd have to remember to keep Bahamut away from that ghost.

"Hm...Let me see it." Khite requested politely. "I might be able to tell how strong it is." he admitted.

"Khite can read Pokemon almost better than a PokeDex." Rizen added as he looked at his friend. He was distracted a moment later by a pair of Pokemon on the lake nearby. Rushing over, he stopped at the bank.

Out on the water were a Lapras and Wynaut, the latter riding the former's back. "Wy wy. Wy naut wy!" the smaller Psychic type called to the Lapras. They seemed to be friends. "Praaasssss." the Water type replied. The Wynaut, for some unknown reason ((Plot device much?)), lost it's balance and fell.

"Ah!" Rizen cried as he grabbed a Pokeball and threw it, catching the Wynaut with little trouble. The Lapras soon came to his side and nudge him gently. It wanted to stay with it's friend.
