o•o || Faina found it peaceful, and already she was willing to stop her journey, and find a place to stay in New Bark Town, though the town was small, she was sure to find a place to stay. However Ifrit wasn't liking that they were staying in one place, and kept peskering her to get moving. A deep sigh passed Faina's lips as she stood up, throwing her messanger bag over her shoulder. "Let's atleast get you up a level before we continue to Cherrygrove." Ifrit tilted her head, and nodded. Reluctant still, Faina started to slowly walk through the tall grass that was between Cherrygrove and New Bark. She'd have to run into atleast one poke'mon. She'd not catch it, sticking to her likes, maybe she'd catch a bird.. but it have to be a pidgey.

o•o || "Okay, this is annoying." She stated, as she kept walking, now passing a man who claimed to we waiting for poke'mon that came out during the night-time. She'd not run into one poke'mon since leaving New Bark Town. "I ran into atleast 10 poke'mon with Bellsprout." She continued. "Maybe we should simply wait in one spot for a poke'mon to appear?" Faina looked down at her Cyndaquil, barely hiding amungst the tall grass. She looked up, and seemed to nod. "Yea, you agree." Faina grinned. Stopping she looked around for a good place to wait. She saw in the distance a small patch of flower. "Perfect." she called out, running to the patch of flowers, Ifrit right behind. Resting beside the flowers, Ifrit went out into the woods, looking for a poke'mon to wean out. Faina waited pathiently.

o•o || Faina found herself occupyed by moving through her bag once more, she pulled out a pad, and pencil, starting to work on something to draw. She picked a rather interesting flower infront of her, and started to sketch. She could hear Ifrit behind her, scrounging through the woods, looking for a poke'mon. Faina's dream to become a Fire and Water-type master was going to be hard, epecially if Ifirit ran into a water-type, that be a hard thing to comprehend. She knew from school that Sentret can learn come Electric-type attacks. "That be useful.." Faina mummbled to herself. "Especially against Falkner." She continued, knowing the Violet City gym leader was suppose to use Flying-type poke'mon. Ifrit wasn't really weak agaisnt them, but she wasn't going to be that good either. "Don't Mareep colonate around Violet City?" She asked herself, reaching for a book she had in her messanger bag, it held all sort of information on certain poke'mon and where they recide. She flipped to Electric-types, and smiled widely. "I knew it, I'll need an electric-type. But... Hmm.." She paused, looking back up to her flower. "I suppose I could always trade it for a water-type, Mareep are a strong Electric-type after all."
she stated, slapping the book shut she went back to her sketch.

o•o || Faina was so into her drawing she didn't notice the eyes watching her from across the field. Ifrit was also to busy looking for a poke'mon to notice one was actually ready to attack. Faina looked up once every second to see if she had the distance between each flower correct, making the poke'mon retract into the woods. It was when Ifrit appeared that Faina jumped up, seeing the eyes watching them. The poke'mon knowing it was spoted jumped from the woods, and dashed after Ifrit. Faina was ready with a command.

o•o || Holding up her 'Dex she scanned the poke'mon before her, she already knew what it was, but she wanted to get it's data on her 'Dex nontheless. It came to life, and instantly came a picture of the Hoppip, the 'Dex then began to speak.
'Hoppip, It's body is so light that it must grip the ground firmly to keep from being blown away'
"Hoppip is a grass-type poke'mon, not what I want. Ifrit use Tackle!" Faina called out, and instantly Ifrit lanched itself at the poke'mon, tackling it back into the woods. It came back angry, though still concetrating on keeping itself ancored onto the ground. All it could do as a defence was Splash. Faina nearly fell over. "You came to attack us, and all you can use is Splash!" Faina held up her hand to her forhead. "This is why I don't really like Grass-types, atleast at this level." She stated. "Ifrit, finish it." She stated, turning around to pick up her scattered items. She heard Ifrit cry, then tackle the Hoppip once more, the poke'mon being so light flew off with a gust of wind. Faina pulled up her Messanger bag up to her shoulder and smiled down to her poke'mon. "Well, let's get to the Ilex forest, atleast there we could find some real challanges." She smiled, ignoring the fact that they had to pass threw a cave, and two other routes. "Oh, maybe we could stop by the Ruins of Alph, I've always wanted to catch an Unknown." She grinned. Leading the way soon Cherrygrove came into sight.

o•o || Cherrygrove indeed came into sight shortly after the battle against the Hoppip. Faina could smell the scent of water coming from the city, and indeed there was a pond along the east side of Cherrygrove, a small island in the middle of that. She planned on visiting that island once she got a poke'mon that knew surf, which wouldn't be hard. Stopping for only a moment before entering the town she looked back to see Ifrit following close behind. "Come along then." She smiled. Turning she entered the small town.

"Wow, this place sure brings back memories," Chloe grinned, finally entering New Bark town. Things were quiet in the small town, as usual. There were a few people here and there, but everyone seemed laid back.
"This was where I took the train to Pallet to get Kaze, back when he was a Charmander," Chloe explained to Ahi. The Ekans nodded in understanding, although he honestly really didn't care about getting a tour. But he figured as long as he could drape over Chloe's shoulder, he could endure a little commentary on their voyage.
Chloe headed towards the train station that led to Kanto, rummaging in her bag for some change to get a ticket. She really did need to think about re-organizing her bag. Other than her badges, everything else was a jumbled mess.

Chloe found the Old Amber she had uncovered a while back, frowning.
"Now why haven't I taken this to the fossil institute yet?" she griped. Well, that added another stop for her in Kanto. She was determined to get the amber looked at. After carrying it around for so long, there just had to be something special about it. Otherwise she'd just have been lugging around dead weight all this time.
The Metal Coat and Protector in her bag were heavier, but she needed another person to help her get rid of those. In the meantime, she had to endure it.
"Ah well. It'll be worth it," Chloe smiled. She already had an Onix in her box to use the Metal Coat on. While she wasn't too fond of the rock snake, Steelix was an interesting Pokemon.

Rhienne nearly dropped her glass ball at the sight of the Cyndaquil before her. Gladly, she took all the items and such she was being handed, and placed them in her bag, before kneeling down to her Cyndaquil. Rhienne held out her arms to Cyndaquil, and she happily obliged, walking into Rhienne's arms to be held.
"Oh thank you so much professor. She's simply beautiful," Rhienne said, walking out of the lab to begin her journey.==============================================================================

Rhienne walked down the steps of the lab, gently caressing her new friend in her arms. Rhienne found a grassy field not too far from the main path she knew she would follow, and began to walk towards a large tree, with plenty of shade.
The mid morning had much pleasantries to offer, light breezes, the perfect temperature, and clean, large clouds that drifted over the landscape as their shadows moved with little effort.
Sitting down under the tree, Rhienne placed her Cyndaquil on the ground in front of her, adjusting her glasses, and setting her top hat on the ground next to her. Cyndaquil looked up at her with the same curiosity Rhienne had in her expression, as Rhienne began to look through her bag.
Turning back to Cyndaquil, Rhienne took out a black satin ribbon, almost matching the one around her neck. She held it out to Cyndaquil, who looked at it, rather enticed, before touching it with her small paw. Smiling at this, Rhienne put the ribbon around her neck, tying it in a bow behind Cyndaquil. Cyndaquil looked at it, deciding whether or not she liked it, before turning to Rhienne with a soft grin.==============================================================================

"How about a name? You strike me as a performer, and every performer needs to stand out from the rest," Rhienne offered, as Cyndaquil admired the bow around her neck. Cyndaquil looked to Rhienne, and nodded, wondering what she had to offer.
"I've been considering Kyoko, and it would be Kyo for short," Rhienne offered, noticing she was taking the name into consideration.
"It gives off a different vibe, and I can tell you're different already," Rhienne said. Cyndaquil looked up to her, and gave a final nod, approving the name.
"My star pupil," Rhienne said, petting Kyoko. "Welcome to show business," she said happily, finally being able to put her ideas to work.
"Now we just need some recruits. I have ideas for all types, but my first type, is flying. Care to assist me my dear," Rhienne asked, looking at Kyoko through her glasses. Kyoko nodded, as she watched Rhienne stand up, to begin looking for pokemon.

Rhienne and Kyoko had found a large patch of tall grass, knowing that there would be plenty of pokemon to find. With Kyoko walking by her side, Rhienne had begun sorting through different ideas in her head, refraining from bringing out one of her many notebooks to draft, at least for the moment. Quietly talking to herself, going through scenario anfter scenario, Rhienne and Kyoko continued searching through the tall grass.
