Bastet looks up to Pheaura slowly. "Yea, right now, I think we can use all the luck we can get." She noticed Saradin awake, "Good to see you back and peaceful finally."
Then she looked at Khenu and held up a sai, "And thanks again, for this metal. I was able to work it into an interesting new design for my sai, and it was terrific in battle. They are light anyway, but they feel even lighter which helps to move faster and more accurately."

Pheaura took a moment to realize that Saradin was awake. Once she did she got up and walked over to him and offer Saradin her hand. "Now it is time for me to be your Rock," she said, "It is best to have one after a fight that has more at stake then just your life."

"From sacrifice to hero, that's something new..." Khenu yawned again and then stood up, swaying slightly but able to support his own weight. He gave Phea a quick hug, then half stumbled over to Bastet, hugging her as well. "You're welcome."
He plopped down in the grass where he stood and looked up at the cat girl. "I did it Bastet, I actually made myself phase..."

With his brain again working at full capacity, Saradin steadied his legs and looked around him. "Everyone okay?" He scanned to count them all. "She's free now... they are together..." He held up his sword, a pair of glowing strands circling it together, intertwining and moving each distinctly in the blue fire.

Bastet hugged Khenu back and patted his head with her hand. "I told you, you just had to learn to control it. Use your emotions to fuel it. At that moment you wanted to protect your friends and help them in anyway you could. So you made yourself do that. Very good." She looked down at the pride in his innocent face.

Aura smiled and then whistled, calling Eclipse to her. She used the wolf to help her stand then looked to Saradin again. "The way it should be then. Saradin's happy, Catherine's happy, and you're happy...right?"

"Now I just gotta find out about the rest of my stuff..." He yawned again, then closed his eyes and fell forward, his head resting on Bastet's knee as he let out a quiet snoring sound, boomerang still unguarded in his belt, angel feather in his hand, and an accomplished smile on his face.

"My oh my!" Pheaura stated when she noticed the sleeping child, "when he's asleep he looks even more like an angel then I do! Oh to be young and innocent!"

"I wish I could go out like a light, simple like that. He's going to sleep good tonight...then again I think we all will." She scratched Eclipse behind his ears and put on a weary smile.

Bastet smiled down at the sleeping boy. "Obviously he's tired, I'm going to put him to bed." Her wounds having begun the healing process, she took care to pick up the boy and carry him inside. He still clutched the feather as she put him on his bed. She took his rang off his belt, found the guard, and put it on it. Finally she covered him with a blanket and quietly left his room, walking back out to the courtyard.

"I wish it was over... but, she mentioned allies." He motioned to the broken sword that still lay in the grass. "I also got the news directly from her... there's someone else who has an interest in me. And she wasnt born as I was, someone deliberately crafted her form, and sealed her soul inside of it..."

"I don't know about the rest of you, but I could really use a drink. Does anyone care to join me?" Pheaura offered. She knew a hard drink would ease some of the pain in her muscles, and most of the pain in her mind.
