Pippa gently pawed Neciel's thigh, as all cats do when they try to make themselves comfortable. Feeling the instant rubbing between her wing joints, Pippa wondered if the Captain really could read minds or not. She had never done it before, that the feline knew... perhaps the woman was just intuitive. To the Captain's question, Pip-pip lifted her head with a cheerful "Mew!" Yes, I can, actually. It's easier when I am bigger, though...

Extending her small wings further, she flapped quickly and bounded up the back of the couch, putting herself in the air. From there she continued to beat her wings and a quick pace. There's no wind in here... Her mind was slightly fatigued as she let herself drop back into the Captain's lap, letting her wings disappear again.

"I suppose that's a yes." she grinned at the little cat creature, rolling her shoulders and letting her wings loosen a little though they were still confined by her tunic. "No, it's more of an intuitive thing. I know how nice it is to have your wing joints rubbed out. They endure quite a bit of strain, even if you can't fly with them. Wings aren't weightless, you know." she tells him, scratching behind Pippa's ears now. "Personally, I get terrible muscles knots after prolonged flights." she adds after a moment of thought, though she was still mulling over the display the cat had put on. It was interesting indeed, though she was intrigued that the cat could hover herself at all with her wings at such a small proportion to her body. Her own wings were large and could span almost 12 feet in length, which was about the right proportion for her small stature.
After a moment, a thought strikes her and she speaks to the cat again. "Would I be right in assuming that your wings help you glide on wind currents and such, not so much provide actual flight?" she asked the little cat, still scratching behind her ears.

It seemed that Neciel's attention was rather focused on the cat for the moment. So Nemo just sat back in the couch and decided to relax once again.Besides this meant that he could just sit back and watch the little interaction between the two. The feline did interest him, to say otherwise was a fast lie, one that he might not have had the ability to pull off. How often was it that you saw a flying cat? Well there was no telling knowing Neciel, but Nemo knew that he didn't see such so often.

Izzy was stirre dout of her sleep for the millionth time. That damn cat and her energy... The girl could sense Pippa's interaction with others and groaned mentall to herself. I guess that means it's time to get up... So, she slipped out of bed, letting her older, seemingly untroubled, sister sleep like there was no tomorrow. She quickly got dressed and left their little room, walking down the hall until she saw the feline with the Captain of all people and the bandit.

"She can fly all she wants when she's in her larger form." Izzy decided to interrupt her partner's fun. "They are only as small as they are nopw because she's supposed to be travel sized. Can't be if she has a five foot wing-span on her tiny body." Stretching her arms up until her back popped she carefully made her way down the ladder and then ran one hand through her short-lengthed hair. "Time to run, Pip-pip?"

Pippa waited until Izzy had gotten down the stairs before bounding up the back of the couch angain and making a large leap onto the tomboy's shoulder. Run run, fly fly! She nuzzled the chin of the girl and then balanced herself as she walked from one shoulder to the other, going behind the head and letting her twin tails glide along behind her. Show off! Show off! They come too?

Izzy shrugged in response. It's up to them... She reached over and took her turn scratching the cat behind her ears. "Either of you want to fly with Pip-pip? She won't drop you... as long as you don't pull out her furr... or thing insulting things..." Pippa could carry two at a time... so, Izzy wouldn't mind sitting on the ground if they both wanted to ride the nekomata.

Still scratching just behind the cat's ears, the captain looks up at the sounds raised as Nemo readjusted himself on the couch. "Aw, not getting enough attention? Would you like me to scratch behind your ears too?" she asks, her tone and eyes reflecting playfulness. "Is Mister King of the Desert Rats jealous of a little kitty?" she continues to prod at him with her words, though she knew that this wasn't actually the case. "It's okay to admit that you're jealous," she goes on, "it's not as if you're the first~" she finishes, turning her gaze away from him to hide the mischief there.

"You aren't the first either my dear." Nemo retorted turningto the new girl and examining her and the cat, "That is quite alright, I've discovered that I much prefer to keep my boots firmly planted on the ground." His eyes indicated Neciel though his words did not, "This of course does not mean that I wouldn't mind see this for myself. Seeing is believing after all and I don't believe I've ever seen such in my lifetime." So he was curious, he couldn't help it. Anyone else with the opportunity would have agreed as well. It wasn't that Nemo had not seen many mystic things, the effects his tattoos had were more than enough proof of that. No the bandit just had had an urge to see more, especially with his travels back and forth from the Dawn. Every little trip seemed to just bring on more and more interest. All the more reason to extend his travels until he absolutely had to leave.

Izzy yawned and shrugged, leading the way out onto the training grounds. As she did this, Pippa jumped from her partner's shoulder to Nemo's. Follow! Follow! She mewed at him excitedly before jumping off and pracing out the door after Izzy. She would give them a show then.

{Oops, how did I miss that post? xD}

The captain doesn't respond to Nemo's comment, deciding to save that discussion for later. Looking up as Izzy entered the room, the captain grins lightly. "Did furball here wake you up?" she asks, taking in the slightly disheveled girl's appearance. As she mentions Pippa's size, she raises an eyebrow, finding that to be a bit strange. "She gets bigger? I wonder if she's as big as Loki...." she drops off, bringing up the guardian of the Dawn borders. Standing, she stretches out her arms, whacking Nemo playfully on the forehead as he was still sitting. "Fly with her? As in, on her back?" the captain asks, raising an eyebrow. She had never had cause to ride on a creatures back, except for that of her horse. In all truth flyng was much faster for her, but riding was much better for her shoulders. "I wonder who can fly faster..." she drops off again, a challenge in her eyes as she watches the little cat race from the room. Moving to follow, she glances at Nemo and winks. "Come along, you lazy bandit king. Time to face the day." and with that, she left the room.

Nemo rolled his eyes at the captain's remark standing from his spot. He wasn't too certain he was ready for the light of day but wherever Neciel went he had every intention to follow. It was kinda pathetic really when one stopped to think about it. Nemo was like a puppy always following at the heels of its master for fear of being separated for too long. Well if he was he at least didn't mind it, not yet at least. He still followed her slightly amused at her fascination.

Stepping into the living quarters, Izzy felt a small sense of relief... as it was much warmer in there and the heat was more than warmly greeted. Crossing the room, she climbed up the ladder to the second floor and pulled out the key to her and her sister's room. A second later the door swung open and... Izzy stepped in not-so-subtly kicking random bright-colored garments under her sister's bed. She'll find them... and this be a lesson to her... One never knows when company arrives, so keep the place clean at all times She looked over her shoulder to check on Agito and then gestured to the small table and chairs. 'Alright, let's get to work." She set the papers down as well as the ink and pulled out one of her own seals, one to keep spirits out, low powered... and with the general variety settings. "Alright, you're going to practice this seal, for warding spirits. The symbols on the bottom represent variety. Like there are many demon clans with symbols to specify them, there are different types of spirits as well. Ghosts, poltergeists, and such... you are going to practice the most basic of the basic... Well try to apply them later, before you learn to create harder seals."

Following Izzy as far as the door to her room, he abruptly looks in the opposite direction as the door swung open. Being very fond of clothes, especially women's clothes, he could tell immediately what the brightly colored garments scattered on the floor were. A blush immediately colored his cheeks, though he reluctantly entered when she announced i was time to work. Agito wandered to the table, sitting across from her. He could read perfectly well upside down, and paid close attention to the seal as she spoke. He glanced up after she stopped speaking, expectant. Was he to copy the seal, for which he would require ink and some of the paper they had just purchased, or was he supposed to take notes on the specific symbols? The seal looked just like the other warding seals for spirits they had practiced with, except for the various symbols across the bottom that represented specific spirits.

She then pushed the practice seal, papers, and the ink and pen to him. "Copy them. I want twelve perfect copies... if you can do that we'll work on applying them to rooms... meaning, you'll get to practice on your room first. The more you learn, the higher security you get to give your room and whatever rooms you choose. Got it?" Then she sat up, crossed her arms over her chest and watched.

Reaching out to arrange the objects to his liking, Agito fumbles a moment with the pen in hand. He pulled one sheet from the short stack, using his palm to flatten it against the wood of the table. Resting the hand that held the pen almost flat against the table, the boy studies the seal again. Satisfied that he had it memorized, he turns his attention back to the plain sheet in front of him. Pursing his lips in concentration, he sets to work copying the seal she had placed before him. Pausing every so often to briefly study it, or to dip his pen back in the ink, it takes nearly ten minutes for him to be satisfied with his copy. He raises his eyes to Izzy, looking for some sort of confirmation or feedback on his completed work.

As she sat back in her chair, she was starting to get rather confortable... though the chair itself wasn't that great.... It took her a minute to realize he was waiting on her, as she had been staring off into space, and took a quick glance at his work. "That's pretty good. Any exorcist should recognize what kind of seal that is... you can continue..." Now, back to staring at a wal... Her eye-lids seemed to be gettin heavy.

Nodding as she inspected his seal, Agito set it aside to allow the ink to dry. Rolling the wrist on his writing hand before going back to work, he noted her glassy-eyed stare at the wall. Raising an eyebrow, he watched her a moment longer before setting to work on the next seal. His attention slipped for a moment, his hand sliding across the paper and adding a line that didn't belong. Agito frowned heavily at this huge mistake, slipping the paper from the table before pulling another in front of him. Managing to finish the rest of the seals she asked for without slipping up, he glances up at her once more so that she could inspect his work.
