Tegan stepped out of the bushes into a small clearing with the Ages river running through it and stretched. He'd been hunting bandits in his forest all day, he was bloody and dusty and needed a break. He dropped his sword and sheild, and undid his leather chest plate and let it drop to the ground too. He rolled his shoulders as he stepped into the river.

The water was cold, but refreshing. He sighed and closed his eyes, intending to relax.

Ardanos pulled his sword out of the last bandit, and cleaned the blade on the dead body's clothes. Where was that brother of his when he needed him? He and the other centaur warriors piled the bandit's bodies and set fire to them.

"Where did Tegan go?" Ardanos asked one of the centaurs close to him.

He only shrugged, and continued piling bodies onto the fire. Ardanos grunted and stood back to survey their work.

Hearing the horn blow he started to make his way toward the field taking his hood off so he could blend in easier. "hmm this should be interesting." he said to himself.

Tegan heard the horn blast. He didnt realize he had picked a spot so close to the city. He left the water quickly and pulled on his chest plate and grabbed his shield and sword. He didn't fear humans, but didn't want to be surprised by them. Since none had come into the clearing he decided to see how close he could get, without being seen by them, or tribe members.


Ardanos left the warriors to finish cleaning up and putting the fires out, and went in search of his brother. He heard the human's horn call, he decided to head back to the Meadow without his brother. Tegan was old enough to take care of himself, and didnt need him to babysit him.

Vaeth stood to the shadows under the trees nearby, having decided that this competition was not worth his time though might provide an amusing little show. His long Katana at his side and his left arm was covered from shoulder to finger in his gauntlet which was tipped at the finger to serve as a claw. Vaeth Stood at about 6 feet in height was about 190 pounds but had a slim muscular look and often ran abound in black pants with red straps in a few minor places, but did not usually wear a top just his weapons. His mid length black hair partially covered his black bandanna and one other item to note was his neck bore a silver collar etched with wolves and had a few chain links dangling from it.

"Wonder what competition will be first," Fallon thought, considering everything with her arms crossed, looking at everyone and sizing up her competition.

Lia watched the herald as he stepped forward. Listening intently, she heard him annouce archery first. Figures, she thought, what I'm worst at comes up first. She grabbed her strung bow off from her back. Her quiver of arrows sat against her back bside her pack.

Tegan heard something hit a tree, and slide down. He poked his head under the branches to look, and spotted a human not too far away. He straightened up and took a deep breath. He'd never been this close to a human in his life, without killing it. If it didnt make a move, he wouldnt bother with it. But he'd keep an eye on it. He shifted his weight to the side a step, to distance himself from the human.

With his hood off he came about ten yards away from the archery range in an empty like spot and crouched down so he could watch the competitors.
