Shelby here. I've been a Ramones fan for a while and I'm getting into other great punk bands. Right now I'm into Black Flag, Minor Threat, Dead Kennedy's, and Casualties. I draw, play bass, and listen to any kind of rock.

Welcome all! I guess this is where to post. In the Ramones Thread there was this kid flaming Tommy Ramone for putting their T-shirts in Hot Topic. What a dweeb. Doesn't he know that that is not a bandmember's job? That's for the managers and promoters. Anyway he started to get really mean and I flamed him back. He was also flaming some guy who was also a Good Charlotte fan, telling him to get out. I said ANY Ramones fans were welcome and who cares if they happen to like GC or any other band also. I can see you don't get that kind of bad behavior here. Any way, thanx again for asking me to join.

my initials are EEM, so I can be called that. when I was a young'un, my dad apparently made me listen to the ramones 24/7, and I don't remember that, but I sure do like them now!! I love Joey's songwriting!! mrgreen

My name's Andy. I'm 19. I play guitar, and I'm a fan of punk rock bands like the Dropkick Murphys, the Sex Pistols, the Misfits, and of course, the Ramones. To me, punk symbolizes not just a style of music, but also an attitude and to an extent, and ideology of joyful mayhem.
I spent a brief stint in a punk rock band of my own, the Smacks, although we sort of broke up after our bass player got arrested for possession of marijuana with the intention to distribute. ********' pigs raided his house and s**t. mad
One thing that pisses me off is the fact that the term "punk" is being applied to s**t like Blink 182 and Good Charlotte, and now even to cunts like Hillary Duff and Lindsay ******** Lohan. These preteen birds what's callin themselves punk these days is ********' bollocks, man.

I play guitar, skateboard, write riffs and lyrics, and listen to music. I listen to almost all kinds of music and I have a slightly above average knowledge of classic rock history.
