(( XD Oh okay. Yay! *takes it* ))

The lobshark saw the other and put on a sliht smile. He swam up a bit to meet the other. "I am here to speak to you about an offer, an alliance in other words," he said, but narrowed his eyes. "But before I go on any further I have to ask you something that I hope you don't find me rude for asking, but what is your opinion about life on the land?" He narrowed his eyes a bit.

He couldn't let kimera into his clan that were land creature lovers that would die to protect the creatures. Land creatures destroyed the world of the creatures of the sea and he wanted a clan that would defend sea creatures against the evils of land.

Amunhotep was apaled atat his question, but took careful care not to show one bit of emotion. "I happen to live on both water and land, thank you very much. But if you must know, I am not very fond of the amount of junk inside our water supplies intentionally put here by the old land dwellers. I don't have much against raptors, and arnulf, and hebisune and such for they don't pollute water as they need to drink it. But I remember the stories my mother told me of how clean and clear this water used to be, and I can't help but be slightly disdainful of those who did this to us. That is all I have to say on the matter." He said with a nod, and a flex of his claws.

Nahuatl's eyes unnarrowed a bit after hearing the other's explanation. "I see... well... to the point of why I asked you that... most in our clan, including myself, don't appreciate many creatures of the land so having someone who is... pro land to a certain point might cause certain issues if you understand," he sighed a bit. "But I like your answer. You won't go stopping us if we feel the need to attack someone who is invading the water in a way we don't appreciate..." He smiled a bit. "As you might of guessed already, I'm curious to see if you will be interested in joining us."

Amunhotep cocked his head and looked at the other kimera with a stoney glare. "I don't "join" anyone. If you need help I will provide it, but I am under no ones command, nor is anyone under mine... though I wouldn't mind the latter of the two. Unless you have some extremely pressing reason why I should follow your command, or as you might put it "request" then speak up now."

Nahuatl knew this one would be tricky.' Seems we have a loner in our hands...' he thought and mentally sighed. " I am not going to force it on you. It is only an offer and clans are usualy very benefical. Help with food, protection, almost anything... but if you feel that you are not willing then fine. I'm here to help... not make you my slave."

"I will stick around, I will help hunt or fight for you if you are in need, but I will not be part of your clan. I do not like the idea of being bonded to anyone, and please do not say anything to contradict me. You should know as well as I that clans may offer all you have said, but it greatly diminishes my freedom." He said and flexed his claws, looking away from the creature.

Nahuatl sighed and closed all of his eyes for a moment. "I see... I'm slightly disappointed you feel that way, but I don't think even I can change your mind at this moment of time." He opened his eye again looking seriously at the other. "Your future help will be appreciated in the future and we thank you for that... Now it has slipped my mind... have I properly introduced myself yet? If not I am Nahuatl."

A tiny shadow swam clumsily through the water, apparently in carefree play. Futile attempts at twirls and breeches were made, but all pretty much ended in the same way: the plecigator struggling to right herself and figure out which way was up. After quite some time, the little one surfaced with a bubbly sigh and a quiet, tired squeak. Her brown scales were overshadowed by the almost comically large grey fin on her back. Pink feet at her sides, she just floated there, blissfully ignorant of any large or dangerous creatures that may happen to lurk in these waters.

(( If people see this thread and remember it I'll set up two timelines or the pets here that were entering may already be considered entered if they wish too. I'm going to move on with the roleplay with Tekki since this hasn't been posted in for a while. ))

Umika said some quick goodbyes to some of the members of the small water clan before going out to hunt for herself. She promised to shortly return with a smile on her face before disappearing from sight. Her smile soon dropped as the voices disappeared. She always got so lonely once she disappeared from the clan's sight. It was the only comforting thing she had these days. Nahuatl really was a kind kimera for making such a clan. He probably had little idea how much he helped her. She continued to swim around, heading towards the water's surface to see if any fish were there. However, her eyes soon spotted something small that didn't look quite like a fish. "Now I wonder what little one this could be...." She whispered. She swam a bit faster to reach the little one before anyone else did, fearing something else might be lurking nearby.

Umika was the second den mother in the water clan. Nahuat recognized how much she loved caring for children and appointed her to the position right away. Umika was always happy to take care of all the little, innocent, water life that was brought into the clan's care. It was only natural for her to worry about whatever was in her sights at the moment.

The baby plecigator failed to notice anyone coming her way. She was floating lazily on the top of the water, her eyes closed as she relaxed. Her tiny 'fingers' wriggled a bit as she gave a half-hearted kick that sent an almost unnoticable ripple a few inches out. After that, she looked almost like she was sleeping there, remaining perfectly still as she let the sun hit her scales.

It didn't take long for the older plecigator to reach the baby one. She slowed down as she near her to make sure she didn't startle her. Umika smiled as she noticed that the little one looked like she could be sleeping. It looked so peaceful to Umika. Carefully, she reached out one of her hands to the baby. "A little plecigator..." Umika's smile disappeared a little. "Why are you out all alone? It might be dangerous around here... Don't you have a Mommy? She must be worried..." Umika made sure to whisper her words in case the little one really was asleep. She had no idea what the other had gone through. Sleep might be the best thing for her after all.

As a matter of fact, the baby was well on her way to being asleep. Having had nothing better to do, she had let herself doze, and her mind was drifting in that comfortable place between worlds when Umika reached her. Midge's eyes flickered open as she heard a gentle voice. Things seemed a bit fuzzy, and the voice sounded distant and muffled. But it sounded so familiar... Sort of like her mother's did.
"Mommy?" she yawned, blinking her large eyes a few times to clear the image in front of her. It became increasingly clear that the plecigator in front of her wasn't really her mother, but she gave a tiny smile anyway. "Oh, sowwy... I thought you were my mommy. Did you say something just now?" She splashed her head under the surface a few times, attempting to wake herself up fully so she wouldn't seem rude to this seemingly nice lady.

Umika felt her heart jumped after hearing what the little one called her. Mommy... oh how she always wanted to be called that. "Yes. I did. I was just hoping you weren't lost or anything. It might be dangerous to be around here on your own. Do you know where your mommy is?" Umika put on a gentle smile for the little one to try to show that all she wanted to do was help. "Sorry if I woke you up before. I couldn't help, but be concerned, if you alone here and all." The last thing Umika wanted to see was the child getting hurt or devoured by some cruel fish that swam by. She had seen too much of that in her own life time. She brought her hand back to give the little one some space. "I can help you find your way home if you need help."

"It's okay! I wasn't twying to sleep. It was an accident." Midge's eyes lost a bit of their cheerful expression as she looked back up to the other kimera. "But... Um... I don't know. Momma said not to go back home until she came to get me. But it's been a while since I came out here... She might be looking for me." One could almost see the gears turning in her simple young mind as she debated on whether to go with Umika or not. "I can twust you, right?" As much as she'd like to follow her mother's orders, it had been too long for the little one to be out in the water without company. She didn't realize it, of course, but it was a near-miracle that she had survived on her own for the past three days.

What Midge said made Umika worry even more. This was a strange place to leave a child. What if the mother had abandoned poor, little, Midge? It was the only conclusion Umika could think of besides the mother being careless. "How long have you been waiting? If it hasn't been very long I could wait with you," Umika said. If the mother did return, Umika didn't want to get Midge in trouble by taking her away, but she couldn't leave her here either. "Yes, you can trust me. You're very lucky though. There are many strangers out there who you cannot trust. I'm very happy I found you before anything dreadful did."
