Two arrows flew up this time, both with the same efect of the first

*Xitha! They need us!* Lux sent hurriedly as she watched Shinta getting attacked over and over, her hand tense on her blade.

A fourth arrow shot out, flying strait towards Lux's heart. as this one burst, it sped up and leveled true to it's target

Shinta whirled his sword his sword in a circular motion so that the wind knocked the needles harmlessly away. Then he leapt high overhead and came plummeting down towards Kax. "Call off your men until this fight is over!"

Xitha growled in the back of her throat as she waved away the arrows. However, it was pointless since this unseen enemy seemed to have an endless supply of this magical attack.
Lux, I'm sending you down to help Shinta. You're going to be shielded against all and every attack so do what you have to do. No blade or magic is going to harm you, so go without fear!
With that, Xitha sent Lux directly behind the blade attacking Shinta. Since she could see the blade, Xitha was able to cast a spell outlining the bearer in, to her amusement, shocking pink energy. The body itself could not be seen, but it was outlined very clearly.
After sending Lux into the foray, Xitha turned to the tree from whence the arrows came.
"Alright you b*****d," she muttered. "Time to show yourself!"
Flying down, she lit the tree ablaze with blue fire.

Huh. That's a useful shielding, Lux thought. She watched, to her surprise, as the man wielding the sword became a bright pink outline, similar to the chalk outline on a crime scene.
She laughed, but gathered herself. Drawing her sword, she instantly slashed across the back of the pink outline's knees.

Kax didn't reply, he simply put out his hand and grabbed the sword blade. the tough leather kept his fingers on as he gripped the blade on the back. He swung at shinta but found his sword missing. "RAT!!" He punched Shinta in the face, sending him flying. he rushed the Shadowslayer, not giveing shinta enough time to breathe

Seeing Lux-dono approach, Shinta shouted, "No Lux-dono! You can't! As this one's friend, you must allow me fight this battle on my own!"

However, she knew he wasn't, so with a sigh, she sat against the tree and scratched the golden retriever behind her ears.
Men, she thought.

A figure in pitch black robes rose from out of the trees. he tossed town the bow and put his hands together. "Lets play." He opened his arms and sucked a bit of shield from Lux. He then hurled two blask orbs at Xitha

Distracted by Lux, ((thanks guys wink )) Shinta went flying from Kax's blow.
An ironic thought crossed his mind, Master Daisuke would really chew me out for being careless if he saw that...
Regaining his feet unsteadily, he held out his sword in front of him and glared hatefully at Kax.

((Hey! I'm offended by that!))
Xitha met the black orbs with two of her own, a bright gold. The orbs met with sparks of bright mage-energy flying about, incinerating small leaves.
Xitha followed the attack with a slew of lightning bolts, then carefully erected a new, different shield.
