Elva looked down at the wound where he was shot. She shook her head and took the kit from him. "I'm not leaving you! Here, let me do this!" Quickly and easily, Elva unwrapped the bandages and disinfected the wound. Like how she did it eariler that day when she first found him. She quickly began wrapping the bandage around his wound. "You can't go back out there! You'll be killed!" Finally finished, Elva reached over and grabbed her father's pistol and checked to see if there were any bullets in it. Thankfully, it was still full. Oh father! You were never the violent type!

Hans let her Work and kept his hands out of the way, and listenned as she spoke, But when she'd finished he Took her hands as they held the older handgun saying with a small smile "Exactly, If i'm killed or taken prisoner and they find you with me they'll do the same. I can't let you get punished for saving my life." He gave her a stronger smile, now that the gun shot wound was starting to numb do to the pain killer. "And i wasn't planning to 'go out' any where, i'm staying right here." He said as he shifted and lifted the rifle again to better look over the stone wall, he was able to make out some shapes through the light fog and distance in the forest.

Elva blushed slightly when Hans took her hand in his. She gave him a small smile and looked towards the front. She sighed and looked at Hans again. "I'm not going anywhere, I'm staying with you. Unfortunately for my father, he did not know that I practiced my shooting skills before he.... passed away..." She looked towards the front again, the other soldiers were now coming closer towards the house. She took the safety off the gun, preparing herself.

Hans sighed "There's no convincing you is there?" part of him was glad she was there but most of him was wanting to pick her up and put her back in side the house, whether she wanted to or not. So he ended up doing nothing focussed on his gun for the moment, He sat up into a rifle postion and adjusted himself until he was perfectly breathing and ready to fire. It just so happened that the men came out of the forest right then most mouths dropped open when they saw the mess Hans had left in the courtyard earlier Hans didn't wait sticking his head up only as far as he need to to aim and resitng the rifle barrel on the stone wall he fired.

Elva stuck her head from behind the wall slightly as to see where she was aiming. Pulling the pistol out in front of her, she took aim for a soldier at the front of the formation and pulled the trigger. The bullet hit the soldier clear on the heart. She smiled then went back down behind the wall. Still got it! She heard many yells and screams as the soldiers looked around the perimeter for the source of the shot....

Hans fired shot after shot as Elva did the same, the soldiers firgured out where the shots were coming from all too late and not one of them got a chance to fire eve a single bullet before each one had dropped. Hans blinked sweat from his eyes as the last one fell and tried not to hear their screams mingled in with the ringing in his ears. Hans stepped over the stone wall and whent to the new men who lay on the ground until he found the one carrying the radio. He cleared his throat and said in perfect Russian into the radio receiver that they had found nothing and that they and their first group were headed into the farther towns. He waited for the reaspons and smiled when he got it, they hadn't been abel to tell the difference in voices and they'd gave a simple 'affirmative, check in at 0400.' Hans smiled and said 'roger'. in Russian before he threw the radio receiver into the ground with a crunch, they might have put a tracer in it, so better safe then sorry. Hans went back to Elva by the wall and leaned against the opposite side sitting heavily as his tired muscles heaved a sigh of relief. "You're a pretty good shot.." He said absently to the girl sitting behind him as he looked skyward rather than at the bodies now littering the ground only yards infront of him.

Elva grinned to herself from the other side of the wall. She felt so proud of herself that none of the bullets went astray. Every shot she made hit a soldier. She sighed and walked over to sit next to Hans. Looking up at the sky like him. Dropping the pistol next to her she breathed slowly, then spoke. "Thank you! I watched a great shooter!" At that, she stared at Hans and only Hans. His features shown magnificently in the moon light. And his eyes glistened even brighter than they could ever do at any other time.

Hans smiled lightly as she spoke and only noticed after a moment of star gazing that she was looking at him. He turnned his head slightly to look at her also, he couldn't read the look in her eyes as she stared at him but he noticed the light gleam of his hair from the moonlight. His heart beat loud in his ears as he continued to look her in the eyes, such beautiful deep brown eyes.

Elva felt that strange feeling again. The feeling of being hypnotized and sinking happily into Hans' eyes. She could not look away as she continued to look into them. The way the moon made them look more like a silver color instead of a blue color made her stomach feel weird. Without her even noticing it, Elva moved closer to Hans and took his hand in hers, holding it firmly. "I'm glad you're okay!" she whispered breathlessly to him.

Hans was about to respond when he realized just how dry his throat was, swallowing hard he whispered with a small smile gripping her hand back "Its thanks to you i'm alive much less in good health." He coudln't have realized but he leaned closer to her ever so slightly as he stared at her brown eyes sinking into them as if he would never again be able to come out.

Elva paid no notice to the closeness between her and Hans. She couldn't keep her eyes off of his. It was as if they were magnets. All conciousness of her body was lost as she continued to look at them. She didn't notice herself going closer to him, inch by inch. Before she even knew it, Elva had wrapped her arms around Hans gently. Still gazing into his eyes, Elva leaned forward a bit, her lips very lightly touching his...

Hans drew ever closer to her watching the light of the moon dissapear in the cool depths of her eyes. He trailed his gaze down to look at her warm soft lips only partially realizing how tantalyzingly close they were. When they dissapeared for view he closed his eyes ever so slightly and felt her lips graze his, for a moment that was enough, sending a delightful chill down his spine but only for that moment. A simple graze was not enough anymore, Hans leaned in the rest of the way bringing their lips together again.

A small, surprising gasp came out of Elva mouth as Hans pulled her closer, kissing her deeply now. Getting over to shock of it, Elva smiled to herself as she closed her eyes slowly. Returning the kiss gratefully, Elva placed a hand lightly on the side of his neck. She leaned more comfortably on the wall now, crossing a leg over Hans' as to get even more closer to him. As the moment stretched on and the kiss continued, Elva's whole world stopped. All thoughts and worries left her and mind completely. All she thought about was what was happening right now. The feel of Hans' smooth skin to hers and the feel and taste of his sweet lips.

Hans smiled himself when he heard her little gasp and continued the kiss. he hfelt her leg on his absently as if it were far away, and that the only thing that mattered was her soft lips on his and her sweet smell all around him. He stroked her brown hair easily as the two of them continued to kiss and that seemed to be enough for them, enough for eternity.

Elva continued to kiss Hans, like it was the most important thing to do right now. Like her life depended on it. As she lifted up a hand to hold the side of his neck lightly, she moved even closer to him, closer so that no space was between them. How oddly amazing it felt to kiss the lips of a man for the first time ever. After so long of being like a complete tomboy, Elva finally understood what the girls in the village were talking about. How wonderful the lips tasted and felt to yours, how time seems to pass by quickly as you continue to kiis him. Elva didn't want it to end.
