After a while longer, the song ended and the house lights came up. "You were magnificent. Hey, would you like to join me up on the roof? The stars are all out and twinkling like a rare beauty."

Amaya looked around and saw all of her men making sure no one was crashing the party. I guess it would be ok. She thought to herself. "I would love to." she said. She always loved the stairs. She remebered she use to lay on her roof and watch the night sky.

"Okay. Just follow me." He led her by the hand up some stairs nearby until they finally got to the roof. "Wow. The stars... they're so...."

"Beautiful." she said with a small smile. She was always locked away in her room when she wasnt out doing missions for her master. So she always had to look out up at them from her balcony. She walked over to the edge of the roof and sighed.

"Oh nothing." she muttered looking at him. Why had she agread to this? she asked herself. "I should get back to the ball." She whispered. If her master noticed her gone for to long then he would send someone to look for her.

"Hold on.... I don't know why but...." He gripped his mask. "I feel like I should show you my face...." He slowly took off the mask and brushed his hair some out of his face.

When Amaya saw his face she gasped and backed away. He was the one from before. she reached to pull her swords but realized she didnt have any.

Toku didn't know how to react to this. He merely sat down as everything came together in his mind. "I thought you sounded familiar. You're the girl from before..." He stood back up. "My name is Tokugoru Kurayami. Whether you believe it or not, we used to live in the same, small neighborhood when we were children." He then turned around as his cape blew in the small gust of wind.

Amaya back away from him. "No i have always lived here. Master has taken care of me all my life." She said as seh shook her head. "What are you doing here?" she asked as she slowly back up to the door.

"Merely to socialize, as I said before." He took but one step away. "You want proof that I know about your childhood, Amaya Nightwall? Ok, fine. When you were a little girl of 7, you had a pet dog named 'Sean' and a cat named 'Whiskers'. You had a scar on your right forearm from a bad gash earlier in life but it eventually went away. Every Saturday, you'd go to the local restaraunt with your parents and order the same thing. Should I stop there?"

She shook her head. "Your wrong. I did none of that. All i know is when i was 8 Master took me in. I dont know why or how i came here, but i did. I dont remember anything that happened before i came here." She said as se quickly opened the door and ran threw it.

He sighed heavily and sat down. After staring at the moon for a few minutes, he decided to jump off the roof and leave for home. ((There ya go. Surprise me! ^_^))

Amaya walked into her room. The ball had just ended. She got changed and into her fighting outfit. She walked out on to her balcony and jumped onto the railing. The town where her master had found here was juyst beyond the forest. She needed to know the truth about her life. She jumped off her balcony and started to jump from roof to roof. She finally made it in the forest and came to the village quickly. She walked toward a small lake just outside the village. There was a bunch of ruble left from an old burnt house. She sat down on a rock and sighed. She remebered being found here. But she had no idea why.

Toku finally got to his home and sat on the roof as the wind blew slightly. "*sigh* I wonder if she'll ever remember me... She's gotten very beautiful. Heh."
