"Well," Twilight returned, "it shows." As Ness let her hair down, he moved closer still, until he set his chin down on Ness's shoulder. Something about the whole situation, the rhythm and the physicality of it all, was like food to him, and he was eager to eat it up. His muscles relaxed, but he was still alert, and taking in everything around him.

This was definitely surpassing similar moments Ness had previously had. Some at her house, some abroad. It would be untruthful to say Ness hadn't had her share of dancing, but she was finding herself in a moment that really was just exciting, thrilling, AND intoxicating.
His putting his chin on her just so started to give her body tremors that preceded her usual stupor she settled into with overstimulation of affections. She turned around and wrapped her arms around his neck and wrapped a leg around one of his. She let out a purr as she was muchly enjoying everything about this. "Wanna see something neat?"

For a moment Twilight was startled. Why was Ness pulling away? Had he done something wrong? Or worse, was she not feeling into the whole scene the way he was?
But then she pulled in again, and he actually let out a small sigh of relief. The game was still afoot. "Ah?" he asked, trying not to sound like he had been worried. "As if this wasn't neat enough? What else have you got for me?"
The night was amazing, and it just kept coming. Twilight couldn't wait to see what was next.

Ness walked over to the panel of switches and turned off most of the lights except for the big mirrored ball that hung in the center. She left that on, but she turned on another switch that turned on blacklights. Ness being such a light blue and spots of white on her, she lit up like a lightbulb herself. Her eyes shimmered, and when she walked back to Twilight.
She smiled as she could see his bandages lighting up as well. "Isn't this way cool!" She then fluttered to the jukebox and picked a song good for close proximity dancing, something with lots of bass that you could feel. She fluttered back to him, descending so her fur brushed up against him, and she resumed the same position she had before she walked away. "Shall we continue?" She smirked in complete delight.

The lights went off. Though Twilight could still make out the disco ball, which cast tiny reflections onto the walls. He could also make out Ness turning something else out. It didn't do much to illuminate the room, he noticed, though it had an interesting purple color that he liked, as it reminded him of his mane and wings.
Then he looked at Ness, and started to giggle. "You're glowing!" he exclaimed, brushing up against her luminescent fur. "How did you do that, firefly?"

"MM... just another one of them cool gadgety things. This room is full of toys like this. Upstairs, if you go up the roundish ladder, there is a box with a screen where I play my video games. It has comfy chairs." She chuckled to herself.
Truth be told, she had these blacklights for a while, but she didn't really know anyone who might appreciate just how cool they were. For this reason, she hadn't really shown them off to anyone. Twi was digging all of it. She was completely sucked up into the moment. She loved living in the moment, and she was reeling around as this one was just so awesome.
She finally relocked her eyes with his, and she slid out the very of the tips of her nails and gently traced the back of his head with them. "Do you think you're gonna stay a day or two while my human is away? And... explore and check out my toys?"

So many wonders. Part of it made Twilight wonder how much more he'd been missing. Then again, part of the fun was the novelty. If he had everything all the time, he might not be able to see the fun in that. Or the fun in his own common activities, like swimming and starwatching. So it was all for the best.
Still, he knew now that if Ness ever invited him again, he'd accept without a second thought. This was too cool to pass up- dancing in the dark with an awesome girl and all her gadgets.
And then, the invitation. "Stay?" he repeated, not sure he was hearing right. "For days? Your human won't- well, I guess not, if she's gone." But for some reason it felt unreal, too good to be true. "Are you sure?"

Ness looked around with a slightly confused face. "I don't think I'm ever not sure, Twi. Heh.. Guess I'm just the kind of girl who is able to decide quickly what she wants... once she knows what that is..."
Between the blacklight and the disco ball setting her eyes off like little blue mirrors, the only parts of her that weren't glowing in fact were the gray spots on her.. which there were a few.. but they didn't throw it off. "If you stay.. then you won't feel in a hurry.. and, you'll have lots of time to check stuff out. Don't worry... If you need anything.. like, food... drink... whatevers... I can accomodate for you... It'd be so full of fun.. unless you've had as much as you can stand already..."
She could feel him drifting into the vibes she was giving out. This was new because very few numas actually went for it who she tried to pull into it. Most of it was lost on the numas she normally tried this stuff on. The fact he was going for it surprised her. She wasn't sure where it would end up since noone ever took her bait. She was excited to see how it would play out.

For a few moments, Twilight was confused. He knew that Ness was awesome, she'd proven that to him multiple times. But to let him stay in such a paradise without a real deadline... there was something TOO good about that. And still, she reiterated her offer. She seemed to really mean it.
As soon as he was sure of that, Twilight jumped up and pounced on Ness excitedly, almost trying to knock her over. "You, Ness, are a true hero. So tell me, what else have you got in store?"
Not that there needed to be more. He was already amped up, and his tail was already swishing back and forth madly. Usually things that were too good to be true were. But in this case, he was willing to take the chance.

She smiled falling backwards a little, not really minding a slight oof as she thumped the floor. Her eyes widened. "I hadn't really planned it past this part. I wasn't sure if you were gonna be game for all that, but I see I underestimated you." She snickered a little and her tail swished under her.
She laid there deliberating on several things. One was to go get some ice cream. Another was to push her fluffy pillow filled basket into the room they were in. Feeling the rush of a night gone perfect for once, she purred loudly as she thought about what her next move was going to be.
She looked up at him suddenly thinking of something. "What do you want to do? I'll let you choose something. Whatever you want to do, we'll do that? Ok." She smiled at up him feeling so glad he came after all.

Twilight didn't move much, staying perched over Ness, almost nose to nose. There was so much to do! And he could choose? Rather than fight it, he decided to think things over. The music was still playing in the background. And he wanted to try out the box that Ness said she liked so much. And-
Before he could decide, his stomach gurgled noisily, and Twilight quickly sat up. "Oh! You know, I haven't eaten anything in ages!" he exclaimed, rubbing the fur over his tummy. "There wasn't much up there, you know?"
Food might not be the most fun activity in the book, but without it, he wouldn't have the energy to move on to better things. So he shrugged, and waited to see what Ness would come up with. She was, after all, the hero.

Ness stared up at him while he remained firmly on top of her. She watched for his every reaction and every reflex. When he sat up like that, she jumped up immediately running to him worried that he had been hurt or something. Hunger?
"I hope you don't mind, but I don't keep a lot of variety of food types. Most of what I have on hand is ice cream. ... a few different kinds. but it's all mostly icecream. Should I bring it back here? Or, we can go eat it on the ledge in the kitchen. It's not like we can't come back here and do more of that over the course of time that you're here for." She smiled as she fluttered her wings lifting up into the air and starting to move out the door into the other room.

Still rubbing his stomach, Twilight, looked up at Ness sheepishly. At least she wasn't upset with him for having to eat. And ice cream, while not his favorite food, was definitely delicious. Nodding, he started to follow her into the kitchen.
"What kinds do you have?" he asked, looking around. "Chocolate's always good, but you've gotta love a good Rocky Road."

"Mmmm.. well, we have a lot of flavors. " She busied herself inside the ice box half fitting into it with the door open. She then found several smaller cups of ice cream in smaller containers. She figured those must belong to her human. She went through some of them finding something he just said.
"Here.. come try this one." She waved it in the air. "What do you usually eat when you're at home?" She really had no concept of how normal numas did anything really. She then flew to the sink to grab a few spoons.

The sight of food was enough to make Twilight's stomach growl again. "Alright already," he grumbled softly, heading into the center of the kitchen. Like everything else, it was full of wonders. Including a cup of ice cream. "You're the best, Ness."
Taking the container, Twilight pulled the lid off and looked at it. That was a new flavor, whatever it was. "What do I eat?" he asked, sticking a finger into the gooey mix. "I dunno. Lots of fish, I guess. Candy apples are pretty good too. Oh, and chocolate, of course!"
Twilight stuck the finger in his mouth- a tricky task, given that the bandages prevented him from opening it too far. Then, in a more muffled voice than usual, asked "what about you?"
