I'm partial to novels, 'cause short stories don't give me enough time to ramble on. And I absolutely love descriptive paragraphs, because I don't have to put in diaologue and morals and things that trip me up.
Poetry is all right, but I'm not actually that good at it... Usually my poems come out as confused, disjointed things full of cryptic description.
I might enjoy writing essays under normal circumstances, but my English teacher has given them a bad name.

I've been writing a lot of different types of literature lately.
I'm currently working on a novel - tentatively the first of a trilogy (yeah, I know that's a really high goal ... sweatdrop ), a short story, I'm planning two novellas, and I've been known to jot down a poem or two.
I ... really don't mind writing essays. Sometimes, it's a cool thing to do, to kind of delve into research. But I'm also a huge research geek, so I live for that kind of thing.
The only thing I haven't tried is really playwriting. I just ... nothing ever develops into play format for me. It doesn't speak to me as a form that I would like to write in.

Um...
I write poems, you know the kind people make fun of you for, simply for the reason that I'm actually depressed.
Novels, well, if I didn't I'd probably insane to boot. So many ideas going through your head, you'd go insane too.
I can't write what people make me do though, like short stories, school ruined that for me, along with essays.
