dood! totally possum! i've always always always wondered about the sound of those things... yea! honestly, would it really even make that much of sound or what?

i don't think it would sound very good unkess the glass was really thin. it has to vibrate, so i don't think thick glass would work very well. i deffinitly wouldn't sound the same as a wooden one... different materials sound really different for string instruments. i built a dulceimer out of a metal tin once. that souned interesting. i wonder what other materials one could make a violin out of and not have it be amped?
