Seth took a glance at the counter and found the staff away. He put the item back on the shelf and looked at Tanisha. "Want to go somewhere else? Like a shad area or something?"'Find things to do. Show off to her with your powers, outside. Then perhaps your skills will overcome his and make her impressed...'

Tanisha shrugged. Business was slow here, and the only thing she really liked about shopping was to push through crowds to be the first to a big sale or something; she enjoyed the rush it created. "Sure. Pretty quiet around here, anyway." That was something she couldn't stand, the quiet. Quiet and inactivity ate at her until she couldn't stand it anymore.

((well, gee, he hasn't dont this before. Give a beginner some credit for trying. whee ))
Seth's heart leapt. 'She's going to continue hanging out with me?' This thought gave him new hope. He got an idea. He grinned and held out his hand to her. "Mind if we run down the stairs? Like a race?"

"A race?" Tanisha's mask of forced boredom seemed to be drifting away slowly, her eyes sparked with interest. It was something she would've done with her friends, back in the city. She had only lost one race before, and was now determined not to let Seth ruin her winning spree. "You're on. Just say when."

He began to walk towards the door. "As soon as we leave this store."He grinned dashing out of the store and heading to the stairwell, next to the elevator.

"Hey!" Tanisha yelled out, sprinting after him. Though she had often delt with starts like this, she had not expected it from Seth. After a couple seconds she caught up with Seth and grinned.

He grinned and pushed forward. He pushed open the stairwell doors and jumped down the steps. Nearly skipping all but two each jump. 'Now..to head outside before she does.' "First person to reach the first tree in sight outside wins."He yelled as he kept moving.
((the mall has many features. but i might add an outdoor bench area for outdoor eaters, with trees, bushes, some gardens, and a random fountain. lol. yeah. to get there. we'll stay in the mall topic. lol. ^ ^))

Tanisha kept her pace, then as soon as she entered the stairwell she jumped up onto the handgrip on the side and slid down, like she was grinding with her boots. She winked at Seth as she passed him, the 'grinding' being much faster than bounding down the stairs, and blew him a kiss as she rounded a corner.

He watched her go by with a shocked expression, causing him to trip, luckily he regained his footing. "HEY! Isn't that cheating?!"He bellowed after her. 'Just great. Now...the door is coming up. She'll be there first for sure....'Also, mentally, he reviewed the blown kiss. 'That didn't mean anything...it was used to tease me...'He kept going down the steps until finally the doors appeared nearly out of no where.

Tanisha had already burst through the doors and paused for a moment, glancing around for a tree. Finally, she found one and ran as fast as she could towards it, the great oak with it's branches spreading far, giving shade to a good deal of grass and a few stray flowers.

Seth burst through the doors and watched as she raced to a door. He grinned, and concentrated on the ground. Within seconds a small cherry tree sprouted from the ground. He tagged the tree he made and looked at her, grinning. 'If all goes well...she'd think that she had ran by it...like that would happen...'

Tanisha reached the oak she was headed for and collapsed underneath it's shade, trying to catch her breath. "That was some" Pant, pant, "Race he put up." Another pause, "Where'd he go? He should be right behind me..."

He sat down on the ground and watched her sit down. He leaned against the tree and waved. 'Now...i'm going to get it.'He chuckled.
Meanwhile, Jemima had siddled over into the center of the first floor. She was spinning around and around, looking at all of the choices of foods. 'Hmm...'"Miss Lillian? What kinds of food do you like?"'whichever one she likes...is the one we'll have.'She thought happily.

Tanisha glanced Seth's way and glared. "That little punk! I know that tree wasn't there!"
Lillian smiled faintly, "I am fine with most any kind of food."

Seth waved some more and grinned. Getting up, he left the tree where it was. He walked casually over to Tanisha. "Well. It looks like i win."He teased.
