"Stay down there for a bit." Jeric calls down through the cracks.
20 minutes later, you hear the rug, and something else, pulled off the trapdoor.

Tanni quickly came out. "What happened?" She asked worriedly.

On the rug is Tam's body, minus the head.

Jeric walked over, and said quietly "It's not your fault. They've wanted a reason to kill him for a couple of months now. They would have found something." Then he goes over, and rolls Tam up in the rug. Him and his brother Jacob carry him outside, and bury him.

Jeric, walks into the house, and runs up to the attic. He calls down while rummaging around upstairs, "My father said you could fight. Can you?"

Jeric walks back down. He has two mythril swords strapped on his back, and a mythril vest on. "Well, I guess you'd better leave this place then. I'm going to go kill the king!" And before anyone can stop him, he runs out of the house.

Tanni immediately ran after him. "What are you doing?" She gasped as she caught up to him "That's suicide!"

"So is staying here!" Jeric shoots back. He runs up to the band of soldiers, and they turn. Jeric lunges at one of them, and stabs him through his heart. He plants his foot on the body, and pushes it off.

Tanni leapt and flipped, slamming feet first into a soldier, knocking him over. She slashed his shoulder, then turned and blocked another soldier's sword.

"I though you said you couldn't fight!" Jeric shouted as he desperately defended against three of the guards.

"Jumping around isn't really fighting." Tanni replied, tanni slid her sword away from the raider's, and as he started forward, stabbed his stomach. "These're just a few tricks. I'm horrible with a sword."
