Well, think about it.
1604 Logan's not the nice, warmhearted teddy bear with big sharp claws we all know and love. ...Or love to hate.
He's the lowest of the low. He'll rape and kill and do what he wants, and if women are his goal, well, he gets what he wants.
No reason to not believe that he'd done his deed and moved on, only to have a child come from...where ever. She gets older, follows the trail of what her mother knew of the man who seduced/raped/left her or what ever.

Well, we don't have neither a Jean crying or a Scott, so adding you or ..uh, the other you...? Would be really confusing with adding space-time continuum and everything all mixed up...
