Faye blushed crimson immensely, and looked around at everyone in the Deli before tearing her eyes away and glaring at Estella. "Are you trying to make me the laughing stock?!" hissed Fayette at her familiar. Stella shrugged and meowed, "Nope! Just being normal isn't being a laughing stock!" Then the white tiger chuckled softly as Faye continued to stare her down.

Faye's white snow tiger purred as Faye patted her on the head. Estella the tiger said telepathically to Fayette, So, are we going to just hide out here until all the action passes? Or what?
Oh, Stell...Yeah, exactly. Until that...thing...goes away, Faye said telepathically as she rolled her eyes.
Estella shrugged and looked at the window with large blue eyes.

A black-haired female sat a few tables down, her attention was caught by the young woman who seemed to be arguing with a tiger.. Except since she could only hear one end of the conversation; said girl seemed mentally unstable, accusing a tiger of trying to make her look like an idiot, she was doing a fine job of it herself, anyways. The young lady raised her mug and tilted it to take a sip of the coffee inside. With a sigh she returned her attention to the outside, there seemed to be some sort of commotion. However, unless she found herself face-to-face with whatever was causing it, it was none of her business. It's not like anyone I know could be getting hurt. She though coldly. Kiara Kitsaki was her name, the hood of her black cloak was tossed back, letting her wavy black hair fall naturally around her shoulders, her deep blue eyes narrowed, fixing her gaze once more on the young woman two, or three tables down. Many people crowded the Deli, which seemed to be it's claim-to-fame. Always packed, few dared to leave their seats, for even if you couldn't see them, there were others ready to take it. The white tiger with her reminded Ki of her own companion. Atrius was the only thing she allowed herself to become attached to. At the moment she missed the demon. Atrius was sarcastic and dry, which fit perfectly into Kiara's personality. She was basically part of him. Ki paused her thinking to take another sip of her coffee and turned her sapphire gaze to the window, immune to the screams and panic. She would summon him later, he'd probably be annoyed about being summoned for no particular purpose. She could use the on-going chaos as an excuse..

Estella growled, and un-curled herself slowly, standing up and pacing inthe tight space. Estella was obviously growing bored. Fayette, on the other hand, was really bored. She tapped her foot anxiously, and was about to get up from her chair, but decided against it. She didn't want to lose her seat. Then, Faye suddenly realized she was still grasping her poetry notebook and pen. She placed then back into her pocket, and leaned back in her chair, staring at the ceiling.
Stella said telepathically, Are you bored?
Yup! Ugh..I would leave this Deli if I saw someone else move into the commotion outside!

Sighing once more to herself Kiara cast another sideways glance at the young woman. She didn't exactly look all that entertained, surely her insanity must keep her busy! Ki laughed slightly to herself and got up from her seat. What could Atrius be doing without her by his side. She would go summon him immediately, but not in the presence of so many others, the demon had a little problem with crowds. She pulled her cloak around her and, as if on cue, her seat was suddenly occupied. To be expected with a crowd this big filing in. She made her way around the people in the Deli and covered her head with the hood of her cloak. The door opened with a cling! of a bell, Ki took a step into the surmounting fright outside. She stood silently for a while, there were many people running around and she was afraid she may get carried away by the terror-stricken crowd. She turned her head and looked in the Deli's window.

K'sahn sighed.
This really isn't working out like I expected it to. Even with my great talent and good looks, I can't get a single scrap of information out of anyone here!
The spy began to grumble as he stood up in a futile attempt to stretch. Seeing that there was no possible way for him to do anything in such a crowded area, he picked his jacket up off the seat next to his. Someone immediately slipped into the seat that he had tried to hold, but he didn't care. He simply slipped the long coat on and made his way towards the door.
If you want to do something right, you have to do it, yourself, he thought, as he pushed his way through the crowd.

Kiara was getting increasingly frustrated with the crowd. She couldn't take a step without being shoved aside so someone could get in the Deli behind her! She let out her breath through clenched teeth, there were few who weren't controlled by the terror that wafted through the streets like the plague. The few that didn't, sparked her interest. She'd had her gaze turned to the girl with the white tiger- the one that reminded her of Atrius -but another person was making their way through the crowd. He didn't seem as aggravated as herself by the crowd, even though she didn't show it, but he did seem irritated. Either way, he wasn't panicking like so many others. Her thoughts, along with her eyes, turned back to the flood-like crowd, diving for shelter and such. Ki made a bet to herself that most of these people didn't even know what they were running from. Her demon wouldn't exactly like being here anyways. She let out a huff of annoyance, and stepped out of the way of the door, and immediately several frightful people piled in, Kiara sighed.

Faye muttered under her breath, "Oh, great...this place is going to get so crowded soon! And my legs are getting cramped...can this get any worse?!" No sooner than the words left her mouth, then more people poured in to the Deli. "That's it!" Faye said as she left her seat. Estella growled and padded alongside her. A bunch of people fought over the open seat. Through all the commotion, Faye tripped. She bumped into a woman who had just sighed.
"Oh, sorry!" Faye shouted above the loud Deli noises. Estella stood her ground, not letting anyone push her around. She just glared at random passerby's and growled, then the people who were about to kick the tiger shuffled away.

Raz was pissed. No wait- she was beyond that. She was seriously considering murdering someone. To say the least. Of course, the Military couldn't supply her with a MOTOR VEHICLE of any kind, nooo. They just dumped her on the outskirts of Rialis when she had CLEARLY stated to the discharging office she needed to get to Sialis. Damn secretaries. Thier brains were as gunky as the gum they all chewed.
She pedaled with a vengeance, her breath coming out in little puffs. A Soldier, wearing Military issue everything. This Soldier was trying to ride into Sialis before night fall. Thankfully she'd been able to buy the rusty old bike off a local vender. Forget the fact she'd been pedaling since 7'o'clock yesterday morning (with a short 3 hour nap that night), she was almost there! Sialis was within view! She could rent a room, get some food, maybe even SHOWER and eat! And then tomorrow she could hop on the next boat outta h-!
The bike slammed to a stop; the rear wheels skidding around beside the front as she came to a grinding halt.
Gruumar.
Toxic scents of decay drifted down the road out of Sialis, pouring out of the demon's skin.
Who set HIM loose? she groaned to herself as she threw the bike down and ran up the road, through the gates. I get out of the Camps and THIS happens! She began at a trot that was quickly turning into a run, begining to reach for her Archane. She dropped her rucksack and pulled at the tags around her neck...
As she ran she began to pull out of the echoes of her mind- at the edges of reason and emotion. The empty space where the Island Waves still lapped against the edges of her soul. The part the Military had tried to rip away from her. Tried to replace with its Ice Arcaine. The Island waves in her mind rolled through her body, all her joints going lax, ready for the attack. At last! It broke, and the Archane surged through her body as she lunged for the attack, and she burst into white flame...

Curse words flew through her mind faster than she was moving, and thanks to Quick Silver she was moving pretty fast. She jumped on top of what could be assumed as his "arm" and began to ran to the headless shoulders. As she reached the climax of the beast she jumped as high as she could, flipped, and with one foot came down with a kick that knocked the demon on his back. She flipped once more from the point of impact and landed lightly on the ground as he collapsed behind her.
'This is what I get for being in the Military...' she thought wryly as she dusted herself off. She looked around. People were still yelling and running in various directions... save one. she stopped herself and did a double take; a hooded figure. Yet before she could get a good look, a monstrous roar shattered the screams around her, and she was accutely aware of the fact that her flame was out and that she was now flying through the air...
and into a wall.
'damn.'
She felt blood running down her left shoulder, and it felt like she had a cracked rib or two. That was going to hurt in the morning. Slowly she managed to unstick herself off of the brick and crumple to the sidewalk in a manner reminiscent of old cartoons. She pulled herself up, managing a slight grimace and stared up at the infamous beast now before her. Its mossy shag swayed as it lumbered towards her, and its many-faceted eyes glinted off its chest.
She should probably consider this a dire enough situation to use Marek... shouldn't she?
She looked down at her pants and noticed a blue-ish slime... Gruumar's paralytic burn...?
Yeah... she should.
One again the Island Waves echoed through her mind and her body relaxed. She began to walk towards the Demon trodding towards her, reaching at something that wasn't at her pocket. Atleast... thats what it looked like she was doing. She grabbed the thin air at her side, and began to run towards the demon, and in one fluid movement... she withdrew Marek.
Once again her own fire glinted back at her from the silver of the blade, and a rush of certainty surged through her. And then with a cacophany of sound, they clashed into battle.
They fought with the agility and guile only those enraged do. Her sword play became almost repetative.
Block block, parry, THRUST, block block thrust, parry, block thrust PARRY, block block...
Her sword, his claws. Both blades of blood. Both wielded with cold vengeance in thier palms. Both bleeding thier own blood.
Finally, she parried a particularly nasty blow aimed for her head and (ducking down and twisting as she blocked) lunged underneath his arm, and slid the now-flaming sword cleanly into where she imagined ribs were.
