he opened his mouth, tempted to, by all citizenship, call the guard... But then remebering his own best interest he did not. Brushing himself a bit he contined to his own home, taking a shortish detour around the corsed scence and aswell the guard.

The woman, now atop the building, watched the men below, and scowled. Now she was in trouble. She'd failed her mission. So she remained on the rooftop, watching the injured man. She would find him again. She had to.

he returned home, he knew now, the face of the person hunting him, or atleast he thought he did, it could have been some one else. He went to his study, this wasn't the greatest thing, not Knowing for sure, he now had one person to look out for atleast, even if it wasn't the right one.

The woman just watched the injured man until he was taken to his home, following him silently. She would break in easily and kill him that night. In the morning, she would take any seal or crest she could find to her emplyer for her pay.

the injured man, begg the guard and brided them to protect his home for atleast a week. He was rich he added, but they wouldn't take it, they seemed as if they had the woman's same thoughts of the noblity, and how they should be, exept their line of work allowed them not to act upon their thoughts.
He sat in his study, and reveiwed his tomes and scripts, he was one not to forget many things, and his magick needed inprovement and he needed new idea on its workings from the older races.

A few hours before dawn, in the darkest hour of night, the thin woman slid from the roof of a lavish mansion and kicked in a window. She dropped into the room silently, other than the sound of breaking glass, and soon made her way to the room she knew to be occupied by the nobleman. Her sword was gripped in one hand, tightly, as she reached for the doorknob, stilling her breath so as to move silently.

The door knob, was firm in its place, the other side, seemed not only locked, but barracked and the major of the room could have been against it. A sound of heavy sleepfilled breath came from in the room. Then, a second awake and quiet breath came, a more femimine breath small, danity and aware.

The woman listened intently for a long while before she slipped from the door. She would break in the window. She stepped into a nearbye bedroom and kicked the window out, moving out of sight and to the wall again, listening for sigs of life in the room next door.

The sleeping breath, continued how it was. But the other one sharpend in fear, becomeing more erratic. The wall outside the windows, seemed to have foot holds aswell as hand holds for exactly the purpose she had for being there.

The woman swore softly under her breath as she heard the heightened breath. Then the other was indeed awake. This could make things difficult. Nonetheless, she slid out the window and slowly climbed to the other window, keeping her ears sharp. After a moment, she slammed the butt of her shortsword against the window to break the glass. She stepped on the windowsill and vaulted into the room, her eyes wide and glinting in the darkness, looking for any detail. The brokwn glass had slashed through he boot and foot, but she ignored the pain. Pain did not oten annoy her, nor hinder her.

She was backed against a wall, holding something that ressembled a letter opener more then a knife. She was human, and so dressed it was almost disdress. She was shivering uncontrolablly... Her cheeks were stained with tears, curled in half a ball upon the floor, only open enough to have the weapon pointed in the woman's deirction. A panted prayer almost unheard came from her lips, as he master stired a bit.

She screamed when the woman advanced... Dropping the letteropener and covering herself with the arm, moving closer to the wall. She was crying more out of fear Gasping for air. She did not speak. The man rolled over in his bed, still asleep but seeming to awaken slowly.

"Shut up!" The woman with the sword snapped. "I don't dirty my blade with human blood if it isn't necessary, but I will silence you if I have to." She glanced towards the bed nervously. She had hoped to kill him while he slept.

She made a small and final noise at being yelled at, but did as she was told cowering more now. The man in bed made a snorting snore and slept on... moving and shiftting a bit in his own sleepy dreams.
