"Alright." With a snap of Nara's finger, a flameing sword appears in Shawn's strong hand and its sheath in Shawn's belt. A bow appeared in Laurie's left hand and a quiver full of arrows on her back. "Now that you have your weapons, lets train both of you." Nara lead them to another room.

Shawn exchanged a look with Laurie, and suddenly he smiled and decided that Nara couldn't be a bad character. Shawn was eager to start their mission.

Nara turned and face Shawn. "Shawn, I want you to focus your sword on me and release its power on me. As for you, Laurie, I want to you to shoot those target, make sure you aim." Laurie nodded and started shooting. She usually hit the outer circle

Shawn tried to focus the power, but something just wasn't clicking. He got frustrated and thought about how he needed to protect the dream world because it was the only place where his fantasies could come true, the only place where he could be with his sister aswell. He began to think about how if he lost this place, he'd have nothing, and he got angry at the beings who were trying to destroy the only thing he had left. With a cry, he swung his sword, and his anger was transmitted through it to release fire.

Nara nearly block the attack, he was pushed back before he could deflect it up. "Good, but I can see the anger within. You see, anger and revenge can easily take over you in your current condition. Calm your mind and think of love. Anger may give you power, but love wields a lot of power."

Shawn refocussed, he thought of his sister, and of Laurie, and of the dream realm which offered so much happiness to every child on earth, and he thought of what he would give to protect all that he loved, he would direct all of his strength and passion towards defending them, he thought of this and his courage shot through the sword in the form of a flame, much stronger than before.

Nara blocked it again but this time, he was knocked down. "Thats the way. Now try create a barrier with flames."

Shawn again turned his thoughts to all that he loved, and then thought of how he was their last hope, and how he had to protect himself so that he could protect them, he spun his sword and spread his arms to create a dome of fire around him.

"Good, I want you to try to seek new abilities now. I'll be helping Laurie."
Laurie was still shooting. "Alright Laurie, would you like to have a better shot?" She nodded. "Okay, hold your bow up." she followed. "String your bow and aim." She did so. "I want you to focus at the bull's eye, you must aim your arrow at the bull's eye and pull the arrow to your cheek." Laurie did as commanded. "Now release..." Laurie released the arrow. The arrow went swiftly straight through the air and hit the bull's eye. Laurie was so amazed of what she done, she gave a big smile. "Look Shawn! I hit the bull's eye!"

Shawn took a moment from his personal concentration to look over at Laurie and congradulate her, he then turned and thought. Hmmm...well, using that fire attack would be good if the enemy was close by, but what about if they were farther away?Shawn make believed that he had a gun and thought once again of using the fire power. Even though he was only playing around, he motioned in a gunner fashion and a fire ball shot from the sword to the bull's eye. "Oh, woops, sorry!!! Didn't mean to do that!"

Nara sighed and said, "It's alright, I have a lot of targets anyways."
"That was a good shot, Shawn." Laurie complimented.
