Usually, statistics like that are bullshit.
Because, if you think about it how many people (especially teenagers) would come up and say "Yes, I smoke pot" and how many of them would actually want that information used for something thats AGAINST marijuana when they probably happily smoke it?

Anyways, I think that marijuana should be legalized and put out there with the same rights that alcohol has. Unlike alcohol and nicotine, marijuana has never killed anyone (it actually has health benefits),and the only reason those two drugs are on the market is because of the large profit thats made off of them.

I think its just that pot is actually looked at as a 'drug' by 'basically' everyone. Where as nicotine and especially alcohol is looked at by most people as something common and fun to do. Marijuana is given a bad name, when, in reality its better and probably safer for you than alcohol and nicotine.

I believe in full decriminalization of all drugs and substances. For me this is a wholly moral issue, not a practical one. I'm not concerned with whether or not drugs are good for the economy, society, the environment or what-have-you.

In my view all rights and freedoms originate with ownership of ourselves. I own my body, wholly and completely. For someone else to lay claim to my body is an attempt to enslave me, and I reject such attempts as an immoral aggression against me.

Since my body is mine, owned solely by me, I have full discretion about the nature of my body. I have the complete right to change it's shape, structure, and ability to suit whatever purpose I deem. If I don't like my eyes, I have the right to change them. If I want to risk my bones by climbing a mountain, they are mine to risk.

The same holds true of my chemistry. It is mine, whether I like it or not, and because it is mine, it is mine to alter in any way I see fit.

Drug laws seek to restrict my body chemistry, and that violates my ownership rights of my body. In my opinion, drug prohibition and regulation are immoral violations of my fundamental rights.

Honestly America's drug policy is pathetic.
There was a man caught with a dime bag of weed and he was sent to jail for longer than a Rapist.... but hey thats how the police operate if you have a small bag of a plant your in for a long time, you rape a woman your out in no time.
