She goes back to the rooftop, only slightly hoping the others weren't there anymore, and became a bit disapointed at there only being a few people there, but decides to sit and watch the ones that was there anyway. As a chilled wind blows across the land, she shivers, making her ears go flat against her head. "Damned wind." she says softly, watching, now, the clouds that momentairly block the stars and moon from view.

Emberis appears upon the roof of the pagoda and steps mere centimeters from the edge and gazes down upon the grounds below. His blood red eyes survey the world around him... a world, that recently, has been growning quiet...
What is happenign to this place? It is as if the very life of these walls is being stripped away... could a dark presence be plotting against my brother's work? Something just doesn't seem right...

POP! It was just like that. One moment there was nothing but air and air and then suddenly there was an Aideki. She sprawled onto the rooftop, and was startled to awakeness. As if she had been on a bed asleep and fell off the side, her eyes were large and confused. She looked around, unable to recall where she was. Wait, she had been near the lake... That's right. She had lain down to take a nap. Slowly she got to her feet, as if she was unsure if her legs would hold her up or not. Apparently, they seemed to be working just fine and she looked about. By gods she was on the roof of the Pagoda! "Holy ******** hell... What is going on?" she breathed to herself. Not even in her wildest dreams would she ever be able to figure out how in the world she managed her way up onto the roof. She sleepwalked some times, yes, but never to this extent. But really, it was quite simple. She happened into the teleportation spell whilst off in dreamland and popped herself unconsciously up atop the roof. It was the first time she had ever used the spell and, as always, would never actually use it intentionally. Somewhere deep inside her was hysterical laughter and slowly...oh so slowly it began to dawn on her. "Oh berloody hell, I should have known..." she drawled, glancing heaven-ward.

Upon hearing a noise behind him, Emberis turns to see one of the Pagoda residents seeming to be a bit lost. Raising an eye brow, Emberis walks over to ehr and in his deep voice asks her,
"You alright? You seem like you didn't expect to be up here..."

Aideki's ruby eyes settled upon the man before her, studying him a moment, "No, I mean... I did not expect to pop up here out of nowhere... Damnable magic, is all. I've always hated the s**t and have never been able to figure out how to use it..." She shrugged, dismissing the thought. She hung her hip then, nodding to him, "And, I'm fine... How 'bout yer self, hm?"

Crossing his arms in front of his chest, Emberis continued to look at Aideki. The news of her not being figure out how to use the magic in the area disturbed Emberis a bit...
"I myself am fine, you however seem to require help."
Still looking at her
"You seem to need help in the ways of magic..."

((she's standing up, just to let you know))
A thin black eyebrow arched as she gazed at him with crimson hued eyes, "Really... I don't need the least of help. In fact, I'm not too fond of magic and I get on increasingly well without it, ya know?" She wasn't sure if he did know, but she didn't really care. She shrugged, and walked past him over to the edge of the roof. She placed her fists upon her hips and looked down over the surroundings far below, her eyes skimming around the lake. It didn't make any sense; one moment way down there and then the next way up here. Oh, it makes perfect sense... Said a voice in her head, You're just too stupid to understand, you dirty half breed! "Your jokes couldn't be more lame..." she breathed, "fooking demon wanna be! Ooo, what a curse! My conscience is sarcastic and has a lame a** sense of humor." She made a face, and felt one made back at her from inside. She had forgotten about the man behind her.

Mezri sits on the roof, and looks at the world below. She breathed a sigh then, pulled a straying lock of hair behind her ear.

Turning his gaze off to the horizon, Emberis allowed his mind to drift off and slip into his memories of his past... In the days of old, Emberis was feared and, to some, he was a legend, a myth. His evil was surpassed only by his own father. but now... his father was put to death by the demon council, not that Emberis cared. One of Guzo's children was going to kill him if the council hadn't. The centuries rolled by and the times changed. In this day and age, a demon like Emberis was not truly needed. That was most likely what Kept Emberis within these walls. It was due to Katha's meddling and Cole's passion for the humans he protected throughout his life, that Emberis allowed the "finer" emotions into his heart instead of just hatred and anger... these were the thoughts swirling around Emberis' mind. For the first time in his life, Emberis let his guard down...

Nicollette appeared on the roof, slipping slightly. She gained her balance quickly, looking around for a sign of Emberis. She saw his shadow near her, and she walked over, her footsteps silent and careful as she walked.
"It's okay to open up sometimes Emberis." She stated, sitting down next to him.

For a brief moment, anger flashed in Emberis' mind. Someone had snuck up on him in the one moment he let his guard down. How could he be so careless? Yet, the moment was but a brief one, his mind reminded him where he was and the soft, sweet, gentle energy he felt told him who it was that snuck up on him. Turning his eyes to Nicolletta a very slight smile danced on his lips for a second before his face resumed it natural dispostion of a scowl... He pondered what she said to him as he turned to look over the horizon once more...
"It may be okay here, but it is not something I am used to. For nearly my entire existence, all I've known is battle, war, and suffering. These new feelings are strange to me and I don't think I will ever become accustom to them... perhaps I am ment to be nothing more then a creature of destruction, unlike my siblings..."
Crossing his hands in front of him, Emberis rested his chin upon them and was beginning to drift into his own mind once again. He thoughts were of Nicolletta this time and he wondered why she seemed to have any interest in him... who could care for a creature with so much blood on his hands?

Nicoletta looked at him, feeling his confusion. She rested her right hand on his left. "You and I are not the poetic people they write about in stories Emberis. We are the warriors, the ones who fight the battles and have the real blood on our hands." She told him. She squeezed his hand. "I love you for being who you are." She said kissing his cheek.

Emberis held Nicoletta's hand gently in his large one. All these emotions that he wasn't used to continued to arise in him. Nicoletta was right, she and him were not the ones of peoms and light. They were the creatures of war and blood, yet, they were also able to feel love even if it is strange to them. Looking over at Nicoletta, Emberis got to his feet, helping Nicoletta as well and embraced her body to his large one holding her close. Placing his lips near her ear, he whispered to her...
"I may not be good with emotions Nicoletta, but I do knowt what I want. I love you for who you are as well. Perhaps together, we can help each other learn how to feel more everyday."
Placing a gentle kiss on her cheek, Emberis continued to hold her close, not wanting to let go of one of the very few things that brought him joy to his existence.

Nicoletta smiled to herself, her arms wrapping around Emberis. She knew he was right, they'd learn to love together. Her entires life had been met with battles and trainning to become one of the greatest warriors. She felt at peace with Emberis, even though she knew they shared the same path. She began to wonder if it was this pagoda or destiny, but she didn't really care. Emberis was something to live for.
