As Emberis roaming through the shelves of books, he picked up on another engery in the library. This new energy had something on them that seemed familiar to Emberis. Searching for it, Emerbis looked down a row of books and spotted a woman with green hair and a sword on her side. Walking up to her her, Emberis looked down her, shifting his eyes from her to the sword, then back to her.
"Are you part of the Strongwright Clan?"

Saki looked up at the large man and her eyes widened. Her jaw going slack, she took a moment to regain her composure. "Yes," she said, unsurely. "May I ask why?"

Looking down at the young lady, Emberis could see the family resemblence she had with the Strongwright clan...
"If are part of the Strongwright clan, how did you come about that sword."
Emberis asked in his deep voice, pointing at the katana on Saki's hip.

"It was a gift from my Uncle," she said, smiling at the memory. She glanced back at the man. "Did you know him?"

Emberis studied Saki for a moment before he answered. By the way she was standing and the way she carried the sword at her hip, Emberis could tell that she knew how to wield that katana, but he wondered if she knew everything about that perticular blade she carried...
"If your uncle is Raven Strongwright, then yes, one could say I know him. In fact, he is one of my greatest commanding officers. How did your uncle come about that sword young one."

At this, Saki's green eyes widened and she leaned back. "My uncle never mentioned anything about...you," she said, studying him. "And i'd remember if he mentioned you. Come to think about it, he didn't really tell me anything about this sword. Only that his friend Shadow gave it to him some time ago..." her eyes brightened and she smiled. "Are you the fabled Shadow I've heard about?"

Emerbis raised an eyebrow when Saki mentioned a man named Shadow. Letting out a sigh and shaking his head, Emberis looked down at Saki whose eyes were filled with hope at meeting "Shadow"
"No, young one, I am not Shadow, but I do know Shadow. Though he does not call himself that in this day and age."

Emberis nodded his head an motioned for the girl to follow him. He did find it funny that so many people we conntected to Cole in someway.
"Do you know anything about that sword or the person who forged it young one?"

Aideki pushed through the huge doors that entered into the serene library. She strode back to a corner where a pile of large rolled up maps were kept. After flipping through a few, she picked out three, then disappeared towards the back aisles of the library. She reappeared a little while after with numerous large, extremely old looking books wedged under the arm that wasn't carrying the maps. She came to a large empty table and dropped the thick books down, taking the maps in both hands and unfurling them so they lay flat upon the smooth table top. She grabbed the books, took a seat in a large lazy boy chair, and got to work.

Saki_Akatsu Saki shook her head. "No." she paused for a moment. "Should I?"A smirk crossed Emberis's face, though Saki could not see it due to the fact that he had just turned his head to face forward. This new resident to the Pagoda carried a weapon with her enchanted by a unique demon and she knew nothing about it... "If you know nothing about the man who made that sword, you shall learn much of him shortly"The two exited the library and made their way through the living room, heading towards the outside.

"Where are we going?" she asked, concerned to be led somewhere so abrupt. True, she was curious, but the fact that a seven foot tall man that looked like he could walk through walls was leading her somewhere did raise some worry in her.

More books appeared upon the thick-wooded table as the hours passed, candle sticks shrinking, and light dimming...only to be replaced with more candles. Aideki would leave every now and then, disappearing into the large aisles of the library to come back with more books...more maps. Soon, the entire part of the table infront of her was carpeted with open books and a variety of maps. Some were large, others small; some of the old world and others of the new. There were even a few maps of large pirate ships with towering masts and vast, wind-caught sails. Compasses lay idle next to lead pencils and rulers, where lines were drawn to mark fathoms and the best route from point A to point B. Port names upon the maps were highlighted, circled, and considered. However, Aideki now sat sunk low into the large lazy boy chair, her helmet removed and set upon the table next to her discarded cutlass and belt. She was immersed in a large, old book. Her lopsided, pointy elven ears twitched slightly as her crimson opal eyes ran along the words upon the musty parchment pages of the heavy book.

Tetsuko wlaked up to the elf. She had seen Aideki before, but never talked to her. But seeing all this work, she was curious, so she asked, being inquisitive. "Um, excuse me," she said quietly. "What exactly are you doing?"
