Dorwinion :: Dorwinion Elementay School's Neighboring Pub
Akhorahil of the Nine

"Well, you see Ren, pubs are vendors of mankind's greatest invention: booze. Ah yes, booze, the nectar-" Suddenly, and with no warning, and sans advanced notice, and without uttering forenotice, Akhorahil stopped to ponder these words. Just for a moment, though.

First of all, it could be argued that both Elves and Dwarves invented booze, and secondly... "We've been here a day already, and yet none of us have a hangover. Am I the only one who sees a problem with this situation?"

Dorwinion :: Dorwinion Elementary School

Uvatha wandered over to Akhorahil and Ren. "Dennis wants to have a tea party, but all of the tea has gone away. I told him that we shall have booze instead. Booze and cakes and eggs and death. Such a lovely party. Treats for all!" She hugged Dennis and Mr. Morgul Blade. "Dennis has such a lovely singing voice." She swayed and spun to music that no one else could hear, making her way over to the pub.

Uvatha entered the pub. The jovial chatter inside immediately stopped. There was dead silence. That silence, however, was soon to be broken by a squeal of delight. "Tea time, Dennis! Look at all of the playthings sitting at the tables, Mr. Morgul Blade! Party favors!"

Akhorahil glanced towards the bartender. "We'd like a table for three, Mister. Booth, preferably. Smoking, clearly."

Several old drunks wet themself.

"Hmmm. Little Timmy must have been a trend-setter..."

Ren followed the others and sat down. He grabbed an abandoned drink on the way by, downing it in one swig. He repeated this process several times on the way to the booth. He took a seat.

"Companions," Ren declared suddenly, after a moment of silence, "I have taken it upon myself to formulate a detailed and thorough strategy by which we might best achieve the Great Grape-Leader's desires, which I have inferred both from knowledge of our current situation as well as reflection upon previous missions."

Ren had not blinked once in the time it took him to make his speech.

"I shall now expound upon the glorious plan that I have just now devised. Firstly, in the morning, it is imperative that we --"

Ren stopped talking. A confused expression passed over his face and he promptly fell to the floor, unconscious.

Uvatha looked down at Ren, giggled, and grabbed the remains of Ren's drink. "Ren was singing such a pretty song, but the clouds came and blocked out all the stars. Now Ren can't twinkle." Uvatha looked at Ren sadly, then downed the rest of the drink in her hand.

Uvatha turned to the bartender and gestured wildly with Mr. Morgul Blade. "Dennis wants more tea!"

Akhorahil glanced at Ren, all nice and passed out. He looked so... relaxed...

He glanced left to check to see if anyone was looking. Nope. To the left was a brick wall, and brick walls tend not to stare. But dammit, they will listen, whether you like it or not, so never say anything you don't want spread around near a brick wall.

He glanced right, again to see if anyone was looking. Ah, yes. The entire bar was watching.

He cared not. "Stabbity stabbity stabbity!" screamed Akhorahil, as he plunged his Mordor-blade into Ren's cranium. In and out... wraith-blood everywhere... most delectable.

"Weeeeeeee!"

Uvatha giggled. Such fun games they could play now that they were together again! Ren and Akhorahil were already playing a game, though. "Can't interrupt, not in the middle of the game. That's not how you play, right, Mr. Morgul Blade? We need a playmate of our very own!" Uvatha stood up and looked around the pub. The few remaining patrons shrunk visibly from her. There was a whimper from the corner. Uvatha giggled before gliding over and lifting the trembling patron. She looked at her sword questioningly. "Do you want to play with him?" Uvatha tilted her head towards her sword for a moment, nodded, and turned back to the man in her grasp. "Mr. Morgul Blade says that you would make a good playmate!" She threw him to the ground.

"Poke poke pooooke," Uvatha sang as she stabbed the man repeatedly with her sword-shaped friend. "Slash and staaaab. Rip and tear! Do do do doooo... Ooh! Look at the pretty colors, Dennis!"

The sound of the rest of the patrons falling to the floor in a dead faint served as a twisted drum beat to Uvatha's song, which was occasionally pierced by her giggle. "I like this game, Akhorahil! Can we play again sometime?"

Ji Indur stepped into the pub, cursing softly when he noticed all of the unconscious patrons. Apparently, Uvatha beat him to his plan. She was going to pay... as soon as he figured out why and how she shoudl do so. Grabbing an abandoned drink, he stepped over several bodies and such on his way over to the booth that his fellows were sitting at. Taking a seat, he downed the drink.

You couldn't have waited until I got here, eh, Uvatha? he asked softly.

Uvatha stopped stabbing her playmate with Mr. Morgul Blade. She looked up at Ji Indur and pouted. "Aww, did Ji Indur want to play too? I just wanted to play with Mr. Morgul Blade, and Dennis here was bored." She pointed to the shiny rock sitting on the table. "But look, Ji Indur! He made pretty colors!" She pointed down at her playmate.

Akhorahil of the Nine

Akhorahil stopped stabbing Ren just long enough to scream, "Waiting is for sissies, and we are not sissies, Ji!" he quickly returned to stabbing.

As he did, he began thinking. Ji has such a funny name. Ji Indur. Heh. It makes me laugh out loud everytime I see him. Ji Indur. Why, it's a shame that there isn't an acronym to describe what I do whenever Ji walks by. I should make one up. One that shortens laughing out loud to a single syllable. Yeah, a good idea. Ji Indur. How ridiculous... almost as ridiculous as inner monologues.

And suddenly, he screamed "ROI!" That was his new acronym to describe the amusement he felt whenever he saw Ji.

ROI failed on every level, and never again was it uttered.

Yes, yes, Ji mumured softly as he stared at Akhorahil. I know that its not for sissies... but you couldn't at least leave one of them concsious for me? Now who am I supposed to play with, eh? If the Nazgul could pout, that would be exactly what he would be doing right now. Alas, pouting was for mortals, and with the ring firmly on his finger, Ji was no longer one of those. Instead he stared at the 'Dennis' that Uvatha had pointed out.

Does 'Dennis' do tricks, Uvatha? he asked in a morbid tone, thinking of squishing brains for some reason or another. He loved squished brains and he had no clue why. Squished brains looked like spaghetti! Spaghetti of all things! Ji used to love spaghetti! So it wasn't that hard to see why he now loved squished brains. He idly wondered if Dennis knew how to squish brains before reaching behind him for another abandoned drink, wrenching it from the grasp of an unconcsious man.

Ren awoke to the frightened sobbing of aged bar patrons. He also had a mysteriously fiendish headache. He opened his eyes and saw a giant pie sitting in the corner of the bar.

His first thought was, What could that giant pie possibly have to be sad about? His second was, Who, besides the glorious Grape Leader, would need a pie of that magnitude?

"Someone get that pie a drink!" he yelled, standing up.

"Uh, er." The bartender began, mustering up enough courage to stop cowering momentarily and address the fearsome, if distracted, ringwraith, "That pie is the prize for our Get-Little-Timmy-Out-of-the-Well Raffle/Bake Sale. You, uh... wanna buy a ticket?"

"Raffle?"

If there's one thing Akhorahil loved, it was murder.

If there were two things Akhorahil loved, they were murder and writing poems for Wilma, his deceased love.

If there were three things Akhorahil loved, they were murder, writing poems for Wilma, his deceased love, and booze.

If there were four things Akhorahil loved, they were murder, writing poems for Wilma, his deceased love, booze, and wasting money in games and contests that he had little chances of winning.

"I'll buy five!" screamed the wraith.

Ji Indur looked at Akhorahil. He wasn't too fond of games himself, but he knew that the other was. Looking around... he wondered if he should squander money on this game just for the off chance that he might win. Thinking that there was obviously nothing more interesting to do, he gave a shout of "I'll take two" to the bartender. Sighing to himself, he drowned the tankerd that he had stolen from the guy behind him and surveyed the room for more.

Uvatha ran up to the bartender and leaned in close to him. "Dennis wants 7. Mr. Morgul Blade wants two, and I want six! Dennis will pay you." Uvatha nodded at the shiny pebble sitting on the counter.
