isaacgoldensunloverlvl67 is a long a** name... couldn't imagine having to type that everytime I want to log onto Gaia... Erhm... anyway...
I don't think I've seen anyone mention anything about weapons like the Demon Mace or Rune Blade or any of those mediocre blades. I personally like the Cloud Brand as a mediocre blade, but that's been mentioned before >>

I really do like the rune blade, as it is the second-strongest Jupiter long sword in the game. My favorite would have to be excalibur, with it's unleash it can do more damage than sol blade can, and it's a lot-less gaudy. A few others I like are masamune (I kept looking for a mercury blade for Picard, and when I got it, I was relieved! I like the dual dragon unleash too. Classy!), atropos rod, and gaia blade.
There's something that's been bothering me about cursed weapons: Isn't there this ring that allows you to use them without freezing up every few turns? I just remembered, and this time through the game, I haven't gotten it yet.

For me, it's not like I think one particular weapon is better then others. The more damage it does - preferably with a nice critical attack - the better. That's one of the reasons I like the Sol Blade: Meggido is very cool and causes tons of damage at the same time.
Just to clear the record, that doesn't mean I won't look at a weapon if it can't do anything special, like a Great Ax, or that only does something defensive. It all depends on how much the stats are raised.

I don't hate most weapons, just ones that are completely useless, like the firehouse stick (i think that's it) and that rod that heals 200 hp.
(Hey! That post was at the exact same moment as mine! biggrin )

my favorite is the sol balde. and theres other good ones but i forget my fave 4 chaachters to use are issac, garet, felix and jenna cuz they have the most hp and best psynergies.

In my game, Isaac has it equipped. For some reason, it doesn't really fit to give it to Felix. xd

I can't get it then this time, I guess. Lately I put the Lavitine on Garet, since it's Mars. The unleash kinda sucks, though.
