....I think Deadbeard was the hardest.
Every other boss I beat in a few minutes, but this... when I lost the first time I got discouraged and stopped playing for a few months... then I got back on it and beat him somehow.
Yes, he was definately the toughest one I fought...

domokun Dullahan......still can't beat him.......whole the game is easy no big deal....untill I met that *Cowpuppy says: no swearing!*....hardest boss I ever saw.....

None of them were that hard. Some people compare DeadBeard to Dullahan which is stupid. Deadbeard was not hard, the Fusion Dragon was hard and annoying.

Some people find him hard because he is *random* and unexpected. So they come up against him in a place where they have encountered no random enemies and he wipes them out, either because of depleted Psynergy or just because they were caught off-guard.

None were hard, but running the guantlet in the battle arena for a while starts to become annoying after fighting three dullahans in a row

Personally it took me three times to beat the Fusion Dragon and that's the longest it's ever taken me to beat a boss.

i think the doom dragon was the hardest but it wasnt hard once i got a code for lvl 99 isaac party! blaugh biggrin heart

Deadbeard was hard because I wasn't prepared at first...
Me: Ooh, a ship! *walks to chest*
Deadbeard: RAAAAAH!
Me: AAAAAAH! *killed* ... *tries again*
Deadbeard: MWAHAHAHA! Don't you get it? I'm a TOUGH BOSS! *kills me again*
Me: ... Oh, I get it now. *actually tries to kill Deadbeard this time*
... But I managed it with only three characters up, because Isaac was downed. Mia's Wish Well saved the day. whee
The hardest boss for me would be the Fusion Dragon, I suppose. Took me several tries to kick its butt. It's also hard because it's right after Saturos and Menardi, you don't get a chance to heal between battles or anything.
Does Ivan's sleep Psynergy EVER work? I tried it on Saturos and Tret and neither were affected... eh, I never use the stupid thing anyway, I'm not much of a status effecter, more of a hurter...

I prefer Bind, personally..
Deadbeard was hard for me because I had given Garet all the cursed equips and.. Mia had the Cleric's ring, because I thought it was a usable item.

As for the boss query, the only boss I've ever had a difficult time with was actually on GS2. But we're not here to discus that are we? Ooop. xd

Garet has all thhe cursed items for me too, as well as Cleric's Ring. He deals teh same damage as Isaac when you take out the elemental damage of Gaia Blade. OMG I'M ALIVE?

I'd have to say Tornado Lizard in Shuhulla Desert... took me a while... and he almost downed Mia and Isacc,(I named him Lin in my game! blaugh ) (Ivan and Garet were down neat the end) but I felled it before it could fell me! YAY!

The Fusion Dragon. Unexpected, no chance to heal, and a PAIN IN TEH BUTT. Djinn? Bah. The only useful ones are the stat up/down djinn and the aura-y ones.
Which is why I always heal my characters after taking out Saturos and weakening Menardi. 3nodding Makes it easier on my blood pressure, easier on my twisted mind, and easier on my throat. (( I scream curses at bosses when I'm just about to win and they kill me dead. ))
I remember the first time I beat it.
Reaction: "OMFG, I'm ALIVE?! O_O *wild happy dance* Oh yeah--Hey! You killed Menardi! (( The rest of this shall not be posted for fear of the mods' wrath. ))
Deadbeard too. He's tough.
What I did ((first time)):
Me: Oooh! Shiny treasure chest! MINE! My new treasure has a first name, it's R-A-R-E--
Deadbeard: Yargh! scream
Me: o_O Holy Muffins! What's a boss doing here?! ._O
Deadbeard: *kills Venus dead*
Me: Noes! He killed me! ;-; THAT TREASURE WAS MINE, STUPID! scream
The next time....
Me: *fully healed, ticked, and wanting my rare item* COME AND GET ME DEADBEARD! YARGH! *attacks and is killed dead*
Repeat above process three billion times, until I finally kill him with two of my characters down, Ivan with 30 HP and Isaac with something in the single digits.
Me after I win: HA! Take that, you stupid pirate ghost! *runs too treasure* heart _ heart Wha...? It's... CURSED?! gonk *this was before I used cursed items, mind you.
Yes. I'm strange.
