Ruko chuckled at Damon, then stifled it quickly. The other two could deal with these scary, firey things better than he could. he crouched back onto the ledge as far as he could.

Bloodshed whispers, "You any good at fighting?"
Next to Bloodshed Damon, having pulled his longsword from its sheath, walked toward the edge of the ledge and yelled, "You want a piece of me?!". The magma monsters slowly continued their walk towards them as if they didn't even hear it. Not even Damon slowed down for he quickly said, "Try and take some!" and charged down the rocky sides of the volcano.

"Just cover your eyes and hide over behind a rock. I'll cover you." Bloodshed says turning back to face the magma monsters.
Damon on the other hand charged head-long into the mass of monsters. Soon after magma monsters began to fall apart left and right from Damons attacks.

although Ruko DID hide behind a rock, he did not close his eyes, too intent on what was going on. He had seen hawks swoop down on mice, and wolves take down deer, and human children fight each other- for fun, but he had never seen a dragon fight, and was determined to learn how.

As Bloodshed's wings were still to small to carry him, he took off towards Damon with a sprinting little run. Once near the edge, he jumped into air and dived headfirst towards one of the monsters. Ramming into it with the still growing horns on top of his head, Bloodshed hits the monster with a sicken crack sound. Near-by Damon was slashing away at 3 magma monsters, 4 having already fallen to his sword, well two more closed in from behind. Bloodshed quickly jumped backward as the monster's head fell off it shoulders and to the ground, its body quickly following.

Ruko's jaw dropped open in amazement. They had already taken out 7 of these things! it seemed frighteningly efficient, like a hawk's kill- every piece of the prey eaten, nothing spared.

"Come on! Try and get me!" Damon yells, advancing on the group of magma monsters he had rounded into a group. One of the monsters actually took this challenge, charging out of the group straight toward Damon. Holding his sword in front of him Damon calmly faced the monster in a head on challenge. Just as the last moment, Damon side-steps out the way and slashs the monster from the hip to its shoulder. Bloodshed now on the ground again, fought back-to-back with Damon so not to let his dragon-bound be taken by surpise. As one of the monsters advanced on Bloodshed, the small dragon nimbly jumped out of the way of the monsters punch and lunged forward taking a bite out of the monsters arm. The monster howling in pain as it arm was torn off. Taking this to his advantage Bloodshed quickly spit out chucks of the monsters arm out of his mouth and head-butted it in the chest and with yet another sicking crack, the monster fell.

Ruko was... slightly envious. the two worked together so well! those magma things didn't stand a chance! Now he really wanted a dragon-bound. a friend- a partner like the two fighting below him. early on, back in the forest, he hadn't given much thought. he even thought he could try to become a Blessed or something. but now... he didn't know. Having a dragon bound seemed interesting, somehow. he continued to watch, trying to learn all he could.

After suffering brutal losses within mins of the attack at the hands of Damon and Bloodshed, the magma monsters morale broke and they soon began to scatter about the volcano looking for any hole that could take they away for the two dragon-bounds. Damon and Bloodshed took this time to kill them one at a time well others run, not even caring to help the others. Within mins the monsters were all gone except for the bodies of the fallen...

Damon stood, stareing at the hole most of the monsters escaped into as if his stare would bring them back.
Bloodshed looks up from where he was to look at the rock you were hiding behind and shows what would be a dragon's grin.

Ruko breaks his stare to look up the crater at the sky. He wanted to leave thie volcano and go home to the forest and find a dragon-bound. he wanted to leave bloodshed and damon behind- they showed him something he did not have. and he felt suddenly alone. But he didn't know how to get out. the next ledge was too high to jump to, and without a dragon bound, he couldn't fly.

Bloodshed slowly starts his way back up to the ledge Ruko stood on. Once on it he says with a sheepish grin, "Sorry about that. I was trying to show off alittle..."
Damon turns to a near-by pile of volcanic rocks and begins to throw some of the larger ones into the escape hole. So it was all blocked but for cracks between the rocks.
