"Very good R'shi, so, we must take action within the next two sevendays. Audra, are you prepared to do your part?" Keli asked, trying very hard to keep her voice down. These blasted caves! What if someone from the Weyr was spying on them? There were plenty of crevices they could hide in and listen. A bit nervously, after having drawn that conclusion in her mind, Keli looked up at all the little holes that dotted the cieling. She could imagine faces in every one of them, but couldn't actually see anyone.

Laylana didn't dare move, for fear that the overly-paranoid leader of the Rebels would hear or sense the movement and come charging up to get them.
This woman almost doesn't seem fit to be leading these people. The only things in her favor are her hatred of the Weyr and being the rider who started all this. But... she seems mentally unsound to be doing this. She could bring us all to ruin.

Audra nodded her head. "As soon as you give the word Weyrwoman."

Misae stood alone at the entrance to one of the uppermost caves. She refused to listen to what Keli had to say. Nothing mattered anymore. Somewhere, her daughter was out there, probably hating her for leaving her. But at least she was safe. Aena would be safe as long as Misae herself stayed here. Perhaps she would participate in this...plan...they were creating, but she didn't care. Sarieth nudged her mine. *Misaemine...it would be best if you cooperated with Keli...* -No. It wasn't in our agreement! She just said if I would come with her. I came. I don't have to do a sharded thing that woman says!-

Weyrwoman. The word was so sweet to hear. Keli almost couldn't wait until it was really true and she had a Weyr to become Weyrwoman in.
"And Re'yil, I know you know what you're doing." Keli purred and winked at him. Only she knew Re'yil's part in the whole thing, not even her most trusted riders could know that. Re'yil was the only one who was wholly devoted to her.

Re'yil listened attentively as the Brownrider reported, then turned his whole attention back to Keli as she spoke with Audra, and then him. He nodded, a small smile flitting acorss his face. "Of course, Keli." he told her.

-Oh, I might as well see what they're planning,- Misae sighed. -Although I dare say that I missed a good part of the sharded meeting anyway. Have you seen the way she treats Re'yil? I don't doubt he'll become her Weyrmate if not Weyrleader. I dearly hope it shant be so...- *I hope so too. I'll stay here, you go.* -You will be fine?- Sarieth nodded. --- "Keli, ma'am..." Misae bowed. She didn't dare say anything else. The..."Weyrwoman" would do the rest of the talking, she could tell.

Artemis Lightfire ((I dunno about you...that's just how I do it.)) (Ah, okay. Whatever. It'll just take getting used to, is all.) Laylana made a face. It was sick how that woman used him. And yet... admirable, in a way. Another reason for me to stick around. I only hope that she can pull through the promise of Impression that was made to me. Otherwise that rider's dragon will wake up one day and go between.

"You're late Misae." Keli snapped. "Sit down." She pointed to one of the few empty chairs. "Now everyone I want you all to remember this because it is going to make the difference between making this plan work and having it fail. I am the one who causes the distraction, the rest of you take the eggs, and remain in a wedge formation, it isn't easily penetrated, so you can make sure the eggs are passed to the riders in the middle. Don't worry about me, I'll find my way out afterwards."

Re'yil didn't like this arrangement when Keli had told her earlier, and he didn't like it any better now. "Keli, you're sure you won't let me go with you?" he asked, as he had earlier. He didn't want her going by herself. "Please, Keli." he added, his expression one of worry.

-Sari love, they're going to steal the eggs!- The Green creeled. *Shining Heights's precious?* -Yes!- *But how are we to stop them?* -We can't...Aena...- *Think of how Aena will never Impress! Aena can take care of herself!* Misae thought for a moment. Half of her listened to Keli so she could look like she was really with them. The other half thought of how she could stop this paranoid wherrie of a woman.

Laylana's eyes widened in something rather like horror. She was going to steal the eggs of the queen whose rider she had killed? Even to Laylana- who had very few qualms about most terrible things- it sounded like Keli was truly insane.
Steal the eggs? She'll be caught, not to mention the anger of the queen guarding them! She can't truly think she'll get out unscathed! Laylana had been told about the queen who Clutched the current eggs going between when her rider died, which she found very odd since queen's with eggs never went between when they had eggs on the Sands, dead rider or not. True, I'll probably get what I want out of this deal, so it doesn't much matter, but Keli must know that there will be casualities or captures. She smirked slightly as she realized that was why Keli was being the distraction. Of course. It gives her more of a chance of coming out of this unscathed. So long as she gets the eggs, she doesn't care what riders perish for her. Tricky woman.
