Aidan sighs and steps towards the door, pausing to mutter a small prayer before unlocking the door and entering. Immediately, Steph barrels towards him, hoping to fend him off using physical strength. The demon cannot attack Aidan spiritually or mentally. He is too close to God, too strong in his beliefs. Sighing, Aidan holds up a cross and braces his feet. Steph skids to a stop, a mere inch from the cross. Taking advantage of the demon’s pause, Aidan jumps on Steph, pinning her to the bed. Binding her wrists together with rope he had wrapped around his hands, he sits on her legs and binds her ankles. All of this is done quickly, as though practiced repeatedly many times. Steph sits state up and attempts to hit him with her shoulder. In a blast of strange energy, his cross breaks in half and the two pieces launch themselves towards his wrists. He cries out in pain as they pierce his skin, but they do not hit their mark. Instead, they become lodged in the outside edge of the palm of his hands. Groaning, he yanks the sticks out of his hands. Standing, he wraps the ropes around her torso and the bed, ignoring the pain of her nails digging into his skin. Bringing himself to a standing position, he asks loudly, holding out his bottle of holy water, dropping a few drops on her skin, “What is your name?”Steph responds to the water hitting her skin like one would to having an acid dropped on themselves, by screaming loudly and grinding her head against the pillow. Aidan repeats the question with a bit more force in the words, dropping a few more drops upon her forehead. Steph groans, her body beginning to levitate, straining against her bindings. “No, no! I won’t say it!”
Aidan asks again and again, working himself into a strong voice, yelling each word powerfully. Steph finally drops back against the bed, a small voice asking pleadingly in a small child’s voice, “Please, please, stop. You’re hurting me!”
He sighs and closes his eyes against the demons tricks, refusing to listen. “No. Now, What is your name?!” he booms. Steph’s facing twists into a painful grimace and it says softly, “My name…. my name….”
Once again, Aidan roars the question. Finally she answers, choking on her own words, “My name is…. Artemian, servant of Dagon.” Her eyes bore into Aidan fleetingly, before she falls back against the bed. The demon had been banished. Sighing, and wiping his brow of sweat, Aidan sits down softly on the edge of the bed. Finally looking up, he remembers Siranow waiting outside the hallway. Quickly, he stands and hurries to get him, leaving immediately after telling him that Steph is freed from her possession.
((You can have him wake her up as soon as you're one.
